Day 2. Official state visit from France

August, Wednesday 29th

Yesterday the French Presidential couple arrived to Copenhagen. They are on official state visit in Denmark hosted by Queen Margrethe. The Presidential couple was first welcomed at Kastellet in Copenhagen by Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary. Actually the two couple's enjoyed most of the day in each others company. Crown Princess Mary and Mrs Marcon had lunch together and paid a visit to the Design School at Holmen in Copenhagen. Meanwhile the French President join Crown Prince Frederik for a boat trip and met with Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen - among other things. In the evening Queen Margrethe hosted a gala dinner at Christiansborg castle with several hundred invited guests from both France and Denmark. Read about their first day, here.

The state visit only last two days which mean Wednesday 29th is their last day in Denmark. In the morning the official farewell took place at Christian VIIs Palace at Amalienborg. Both Queen Margrethe and the Crown Prince couple attended. A unique tradition was once more included - the French Presidential couple wrote in a guestbook and signed a window. I do not know for sure who was the first to write their signature, but presidents and royals have signed each their own window which are then once again place somewhere at Amalienborg. Simply a wonderful tradition.

Crown Princess Mary and Mrs Macron then visited Rysensteen Gymnasium. Seems like the two of them get along very well. And the students were thrilled to welcomed both of them. The Crown Princess was in a great mood and took plenty of time talking to the stuents. An introduction was also given to the program 'Global Citizenship Programme' in which the school participate. Meanwhile Crown Prince Frederik and the French President visited Dansk Industri. Prime Minister, Lars Løkke Rasmussen also attended this visit. The visit made it possible for all of them to attend the business conference 'Transformning France: A Nordic Perspective'.

After having spend time on their own; the Crown Prince couple and the French Presidential couple were gathered once again. The reunion took place at Glyptoteket in Copenhagen. When visiting Glyptoteket they had the opportunity to attend a cultural event where numerous Danish artists also attended.

For one more day in company of Mrs Macron Mary had chosen to reuse one of her old blue creations. It has for a long time been suggested that Stella McCartney designed the blue dress. That was all wrong. The dreamy blue dress is from Vionnet. I learned about its identity from Heaven. She also shared with me that Princess Charlene has worn the same dress featuring a longer skirt, here. Mary first wore her dress at 'the European Emergency Medical Services 2017', here.

Once again we see her embrace the style by wearing that incredible brooch which I have never been able to find. Nor do I have ideas where to find it. The brooch features pastel pink and green colours and make a great match to the blue dress. Just as the white pearl earrings and a ring from Dulong Fine Jewelry does. Multiple bracelet were also worn. I have a hard time identifying each one of them, but I differently see her golden Cartier bangle.

As other accessories Mary had chosen a blue calfskin Quidam clutch and patent leather pumps in rose from Gianvito Rossi. I've always loved when she chose to wear darker and lighter colours at ones. She also stunned wearing some kind of red coloured nail polish. And that soft curly hairstyle blew me away. Absolutely wonderful. She has a certain glow that woman, right?

- Return reception -
As the French Presidential couple attended the Danish official farewell ceremony; the couple hosted a return reception at Skuespilhuset in Copenhagen. Both Queen Margrethe, the Crown Prince couple, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie, and Princess Benedikte were invited as guests of honor.

Little has been said and shown from the event at Skuespilhuset. From what I see all royals were warmly welcomed by the Presidential couple with smiles and handshakes. With sincere words the French President thanked the Queen and her family for their hospitality in his speech at the reception. All this took place in the afternoon before the presidential couple left Denmark later that day.

For the afternoon event Mary wore a brand new printed dress. Actually the print is flower petals - beautiful right? Somehow I can't stop myself from loving the fact that Queen Margrethe's dress and Mary's look very much alike. Mary's new dress has been identified by Heaven as Giambattista Valli (the name I always trouble to write and remember). This incredible creation features long sleeves, a wait band and mid-length skirt. I imagine the dress worn at so many different occasions in the future with all kinds of accessories. Maybe yellow pumps? Another belt? Its print makes me wanna try something similar.

At the reception in Skuespilhuset Mary wore simple, yet stunning accessories, to top off her look. Among other things she wore brand new black pumps as well. They feature little golden studs. Once again Heaven got the answer where to find these new pumps. She manage to find them at Gianvito Rossi. Kinda edgy next to the feminine dress. I have been told that Mrs Macron is very fond of Louis Vuitton. So I imagine that she loved Mary's box clutch, because that is from Louis Vuitton. It goes years back in time, but has only been worn a couple of times.

Day 1. Official state visit from France

August, Tuesday 28th

For four days we enjoyed an official visit to the Faroe Islands along with the entire Crown Prince family. We followed each step and enjoyed each one of them. It was a pleasure sharing all this with you. The visit was something we had been looking forward to in a very long time. Suddenly it was all over. Fortunately we did not have to wait long for another exciting event. Because on August 28th the Queen hosted an official state visit from France.

The French Presidential couple arrived to Copenhagen airport in the morning on Tuesday 28th. They were warmly welcomed by the Crown Prince couple at Kastellet in Copenhagen. Both couple's showed their respect to missing and/or lost soldiers with a wreath. Following the Presidential couple was officially welcomed by Queen Margrethe at Amalienborg. The Crown Prince couple, Prince Joachim, Princess Marie and Princess Benedikte did also attend the welcoming ceremony.

Mrs Macron was then invited to attend a lunch with the Crown Princess at Frederik VIIIs Palace at Amalienborg. The two of them met earlier in 2017 to discuss equality in Denmark and a future meeting was settled. Once again the topic about equality was brought up. On this occasion the Crown Princess had specially invited four other guests to attend the lunch - four guest with the purpose to enlighten about equality issues, a status and - challenges.

Crown Princess Mary and Mrs Macron also had the pleasure to join each other for yet another visit. The two of them visited the Design School at Holmen in Copenhagen. They were given a guided tour around the facilities, was introduced to the school and their work. Especially sustainability and sustainable fashion solution are something the schools students work with in their everday's.

Meanwhile the French President met with Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen, visited the Royal Library and the Black Diamond. He also joined Crown Prince Frederik for a boat trip in Copenhagen Harbor.

Apparently the Crown Princess had a meeting with Amina Mohammed, UN Deputy Secretary General on Tuesday as well, here. Amina Mohammed is former special advisor to Ban Ki-moon. UN's 17 world goals - in particular goal number five about equality, was discussed during the meeting that took place at Amalienborg in Copenhagen. The conversation between was also focused on women-and girls rights and opportunities.

Mary was shining like a red rose when welcoming the French Presidential couple at Kastellet in Copenhagen. Somehow I expected something completely else. That is what make Mary and her style so exciting - you never know what she is going to wear. She had chosen a bright red dress from Raquel Diniz. I learned about the dress from Heaven who also told me that Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway dazzled in the exact same dress in 2017, here. Do you like the dress? I do. Much indeed.

The Danish Crown Princess was not the only one embracing a red outfit. Mrs Macron shone wearing a matching red dress and coat. Meanwhile Princess Marie wore a red long-sleeved red blouse and a black skirt.

She accessorized her new Raquel Diniz dress with diamond earrings from Ole Lynggaard worn a several other occasion. The same goes with the beautiful leaf Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen brooch. Her two golden bracelets are from Cartier and Dulong Fine Jewelry. As shoes she had chosen an old pair of python pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Incredible match to the red dress, right? Another interesting accessory is the brand new bright red clutch bag. I had a Danish designer in mind when Kate share her finding with me. She managed to identify Mary's new clutch bag as LIN8. I am simply in love with this creation.

With a magnificent hairstyle, beautiful makeup and red nail polish, she managed to amaze me deeply. Mary really knows how to make a great impression.

- Gala dinner -
With Queen Margrethe as host of this official state visit from the French Presidential couple, she also hosted a gala dinner in the evening. Guests from both Danish and French public were invited to attend the dinner, which took place in the Banquet Hall at Christiansborg castle in Copenhagen. The arrival and part of the dinner was broadcasted live on Danish television. I watched only the arrival but it was an incredible sight. Princess Benedikte arrived first from the royal family, followed by Prince Joachim and Princess Marie, then the Crown Prince couple and Queen Margrethe. The French Presidential couple arrived last. Especially the arrival of the Crown Prince couple amazed me. It always look so gracious.

All guests were then greeted with a handshake and the evening was about to begin. As host the Queen gave a welcoming speech which can be watched down below. The French President followed her with his own speech. Dinner was then serviced. I imagine it being a wonderful evening for all attending the event.

By the commentators many blue dresses were predicted. That is why I hoped for anything else than a blue dress for Mary or any of the other Danish royal women. And we got... no blue gowns at all. Queen Margrethe stunned in a purple gown featuring black lace. Princess Marie wore what I think is a brand new gown with a wide neckline and little train. I hear that her tiara is new and presumably a gift from her husband on occasion of their 10th anniversary. Princess Benedikte impressed in a lovely dusty pink floral evening gown.

What's then about Mary? As the only royal woman wearing white, she showed up in a reused Lasse Spangenberg Copenhagen evening gown. Yet with few altercations. A black piece of fabric has been added across her right shoulder. It then works as a short train. I will leave the commenting about this alterting to you. Mary wore this floral gown at the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Mary Foundation, here.

She embraced the evening outfit with a black Sergio Rossi box clutch and black pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Other than this I see her wearing the incredible ruby parure inherited from Queen Ingrid. She wore both tiara, earrings, bracelet and a single hairpiece. If any of you manage to find a picture of her hairstyle, please share it with me. I would really like to get a better look of her stunning hairstyle.

Day 4. Official visit to the Faroe Islands

August, Sunday 26th

For four days we have enjoyed the Faroe Islands along the Crown Prince couple and their four children. For four days they have spread joy wherever they have been with their visit. This visit was announced months ago and I know for a fact that many of you have been looking forward to it with great pleasure - so have I. It was simply great to arrived home from vacation, to enjoy a state visit with the royal family.

Now it is all over. I only have one day left to report about. That is of course the fourth day; on August 26th.

The family arrived all at once to Sandavági to attend a church service at 10:30 am. Both Prince Christian, Princess Isabella and their two younger siblings Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine joined their parents on one last job before leaving the islands. I imagine it being a pleasent experience for all of them. The Crown Princess even shared some of her memories caught on camera with us,  here. The service was hosted by Bishop, Jógvan Fríðriksson who welcomed the royal family at the arrival. They were all dressed in red, green, blue and black national costumes.

Bishop, Jógvan Fríðriksson also hosted lunch with Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary as guests of honor. The lunch took place after the service in Bøur. Attending lunch was the very last event for the Crown Prince couple on the Faroe Islands.

Day 3. Official visit to the Faroe Islands

August, Saturday 25th

- Arrival -
On August 23rd the Crown Prince couple arrived to Tórshavn on the Faroe Islands. The couple are joined by their four children on this official visit. The whole family stay at Dannebrog during the visit. The family has already visited several towns and met lots of people.

On the third day the family arrived to Runavík where they were warmly welcomed - despite the rather cold weather. At the harbor of Bakkafrost they were officially welcomed by Mayor, Torbjørn Jacobsen and his wife Mrs Ann Ellefsen. Once again the family arrived to be greeted with everything it takes. Attendances had arrived early to get a glimpse of the Crown Prince couple and children. Many of them even got the chance to shake hands with one or more of the royal visitors.

In Bakkafrost, among other things, they visited a salmon farming business. Followed by a visit to the local sports hall 'Bylgjan'. All this took place before Mayor, Torbjørn Jacobsen hosted lunch.

Despite cold weather the family really seemed to enjoy themselves while visiting Runavík and surrounding areas. Think it is a true and delighted pleasure for the Crown Prince couple to share this experience with their children. And the children seems to enjoyed it just as much. Especially Prince Christian makes everything an experience. He looks positively delighted to be around people and meet anyone - seems like the most natural thing for him. On his behalf I am glad this part of this public life comes easy.

Once again the whole family arrived wearing each their national costume. Crown Prince Frederik was given his costume back in the days and Mary got hers in 2005 on her first visit to the Faroe Islands. Her costume comes with a apron and scarf og dark green wool featuring a Marguerite pattern. It is matched with a knitted sweater and custom-made silver pieces. On occasion of this visit the children also received each a costume from different municipalities.

Other than her red, green and black national costume Mary dazzled wearing a pair of diamond earrings which could be Hartmann's and a couple a diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Not much had changed from the previous days on the Faroe Islands. What had changed the most is her hairstyle. Arriving to Tórshavn she amazed the world with a beautiful updo. The next day a half updo and today she embraced the style with a simply ponytail.

- Tjørnuvík -
Without children the Crown Prince couple visited Tjørnuvík. They arrived by boat. Here they were welcomed by Mayor, Heðin Zachariasen, who subsequently presented the city council of Sunda municipality. Lot of attendances had arrived to greet and shake hands with the couple who took plenty of time meeting as many as possible. What a sight.

While visiting Tjørnuvík the Crown Princess went for a walk. On this walk she went by the local church and visited 'Kunsterboligen'. While spending time on her own she also met up with a couple of surfers with whom she had a great talk. I bet she had a lot of questions and comments to make about the beautiful surroundings. Many pictures have already been share from her visit among the surfers, hereMeanwhile her husband visited the rock 'Stakkurin'. He shared with us these pictures, here. Incredible nature, right? A memorable day that wasn't over just yet. The couple still had a reception to host and for the Crown Prince to hand over the trophy to the winning team in football. This he eventually attended with his oldest son Prince Christian - though it was not made official in advance.

Mary had changed for something a bit more warm when visiting Tjørnuvík. Earlier in the morning she amazed the attendances wearing her national costumes. So were the rest of the family. But at Tjørnuvík it obviously takes something more warm and cosy. Therefor she had chosen a black knitted sweater featuring golden buttons. With help her new sweater has finally been identified. The designer is Baum und Pferdgarten (not Tara Jarmon as first assumed).

She matched this sweater with skinny jeans and dark grey coat. A suggestion was given that her new coat could be from Aigle. I probably managed to make a request. One of you came ahead of a reply - the coat is not an Aigle design, but from a store called Søstjernen (in English 'starfish'). On occasion of Mary wearing their creation, they shared a post on Instagram, here. Kate shared a funny information with me - that Princess Isabella has worn the same coat as her mother did on August 25th. Princess Isabella wore hers at 'the Hubertus Hunt' last year, here. Mary accessorized her chic outfit with flat ankle boots, diamond earrings (which could be from Hartmann's) and furry wrist warmers.

A pretty and easy outfit to copy during fall. Even with the hairstyle and makeup; she makes it easy for us to seal the style. Nevertheless I still do not know where half of what she wore are from. All ideas are welcomed.

- Reception -
After a long day with lots of people to meet and places to be, the day wasn't over just yet. Because Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary hosted a reception on board Dannebrog on occasion of their visit to the Faroe Islands. The guest list is quite long. It included prominent people as the Mayor of Tórshavn Annika Olsen, artists Edward Fuglø, State Finance Minister Kristina Háfoss, Deputy Mayor of Sunda Municipality Thordis Dahl Hansen, ... and many more. They had all been invited to join the couple (and their children) for an evening on board the royal yacht.

At the arrival, all guests were welcomed (one by one) by the Crown Prince couple and all four children. Then small meals were served and enjoyed while standing. Small talk spread across the deck.

No proper reception without a dance. Hand in hand with their guests; the royal family danced a traditional chain dance. It was simply a lovely sight.

Oh wauw! I rarely use exclamation marks but this time I do. Somehow I have missed these reception outfits of hers. During the entire trip we have not seen anything like this - almost only her wearing her national costume. As host of yesterday's reception Mary looked stunning in one of her reused Vilshenko dressed. A beautiful embroidered dress with long sleeves and midi length skirt. At first I did not realize that this was the dress she was wearing. She tricked me. We have in fact seen her wear the dress at a previous event - a christening in Aalborg earlier this year, here. At the time I fell in love with it right away. I sort of did again.

At the reception Mary embraced the style by wearing pendant earrings. Differently new. There is also a couple of bracelets I can not identify. But the shoes I can - they are from Gianvito Rossi. Other than this I only have one last thing to comment: her hairstyle. Gosh, I love her hairstyle at the reception. What an incredible updo. Just look at the way it is made. To me it is almost a work of art.If you manage to find a close-up then please share it with me.

Day 2. Official visit to the Faroe Islands

August, Friday 24th

- Arrival -
The arrival to Tórshavn on the Faroe Islands was a huge succes. Crown Prince Frederik and his wife Crown Princess Mary were warmly welcomed arriving to the islands along with all four children. In Tórshavn (and surrounding areas) the family enjoyed the day by visiting among others the Government buildings in Tinganes, a women's house and spending the evening in Nordens Hus. A wonderful day, here.

The following day it was time to visit Klaksvïk, Ósalund, Fugloy and Mikladal. The family arrived by the royal yacht Dannebrog around 9 o'clock. Mayor, Jógvan Skorheim and his wife Mrs Mígdis Skorheim welcomed the couple arriving to Klaksvík. It was a warmhearted and sincere welcoming. Time was also for greetings, handshakes and lots of smiles. Both the Crown Prince couple and all four children spend much time meeting the attendances. What a sight. We rarely see the whole family gathered like this. Makes me proud to have a royal family like this with prince's and princess' who make an "down on earth" appearance just as their parents. Guess that is why this particular family is loved so much by all of us.

And the family seems to enjoy it as much as the rest of us. They were one big smile all day long. Both when visiting Biskupstorg to see 3D plans for a new building project, Ósalund and a nearly 100 years old money institute.

When arriving to Klaksvïk Friday morning Mary was dressed, once again, in her personal national costume. It was given to her as a present from Faroe Islands National Assembly and Legislation, when she first visited the Faroe Islands in 2005 - we haven't seen it since. Mary's national costume comes with an apron and scarf og dark green wool featuring a Marguerite pattern. It is matched with a knitted sweater featuring snowflakes, coloured red and black. Her costume is also detailed with silver pieces which are designed specially for her. Mary was not the only one wearing her traditional costume. The rest of the family did too. Each costume has its own story to be read here.

On the second day on the Faroe Islands she embraced the style with a half updo, earrings from Hartmann's, diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen, an Orit Elhanati necklace and a reused hairpiece. Did you noticed it? I still really want to get some pictures showing details from her outfit. That is not easy to find. We get a glimpse of her hairstyle in videos shared online. It is her old piece from PICO. This was first worn at the presentation of 'Crown Princess Mary's Scholarship' earlier this year, here. Not sure I would wear it myself but she makes it work perfectly. We could also take a lesson from the two princesses - Princess Isabella and Princess Josephine embraced the most amazing hairstyles as their mother.

- Visiting Fugloy & Mikladal -
On Friday the Crown Prince couple and their children also visited the island Fugloy and Mikladal as part of their official visit to the Faroe Islands. Arriving to Fugloy the family was kindly welcomed by mayor, Amalia í Frammistovu who also hosted a lunch for the family. In Fugloy the royal family went for a walk to see the incredible nature the islands have to offer.

Indeed it is a pleasure to see the family all together. Prince Christian seems to get along with the attention very well. He is having fun with his siblings and leading the way. Even Prince Vincent seem to feel much better in public. Princess Isabella and littler sister Princess Josephine stay close and enjoy the visit a bit more in silence. A least that is what I see.

Arriving to Mikladal on the island Kalsoy, the royal family was welcomed by Mayor, Jógvan Skorheim and Mrs Vígdas Skorheim - the same who welcomed the couple earlier in Klaksvík. They were about to visit a very special statue in Mikladal called 'Sælkvinden' (the Seal Woman).

All this and much more took place in the hours spend in Klaksvík, Fugloy and Mikladal till the visit ended around 4:00 pm. in the afternoon.

Time for other more practical clothes - and warm I guess. The whole family had changed from colourful national costumes to brownish outdoors clothes. The children matched each others perfectly. Crown Prince Frederik kept warm in a more greenish outfits, while Mary was wrapped up in a checkered bottom-down shirt, a grey woolen sweater found at Ralph Lauren (collection: POLO Ralph Lauren), a quilted vest and a jacket. It is all about keeping warm. Trousers and boots from Salomon made the job as well.

Though it is a visit transmitted all over the world we only have very few quality pictures of her outfit. Kate managed to see a logo on her jacket and identified it as Härkila. I found that the trousers are also from Härkila. Don't think we have seen either bottom-down shirt or the grey sweater before. The hat we have, as well as the cuff warmers (actually I have no idea what they are called in English. Correct me if I am wrong). These was worn at the Hubertus Hunt in Dyrehaven last year, here. Not much else to say; she also wore a pair of diamond earrings which could be Hartmann's.

Day 1. Official visit to the Faroe Islands

August, Thursday 23rd

Now it is time for what we all have been waiting for for a really long time. Think it was a couple of months ago that the news about the Crown Prince couple and children were going on an official visit to the Faroe Island was announced. Little is better than an official visit.

Than on Thursday 23rd the royal couple and their children arrived to Tórshavn on board Dannebrog. While visiting the islands they are also staying at the royal yacht. At the arrival all six royals were warmly welcomed by the Prime Minister, Aksel V. Johannesen who also gave a speech on this very special occasion. Hundreds of people had also arrived to the harbor getting a glimpse of the royals. Greetings were exchanged countlessly in Tórshavn.

During their first day on the Faroe Islands the program was packed from arrival to late evening. Among other things the Crown Prince family visited Government buildings in Tinganes were the official welcoming took place. Along with his father Prince Christians visited the educational institution Glasir. Meanwhile the Crown Princess visited the daycare Býlingshúsið undir Fjalli. In the afternoon Prince Christian joined his parents visiting Lagtinget. Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine were all seen at the arrival in a happy spirit.

Many pictures and videos have been published of the family. The Danish royal house has also shared pictures of them, here.

Usually we get to see Mary wear the most incredible and outstanding outfits while she's on official visits. So is her handsome husband. This time things are a bit different because the couple and their four children arrived wearing each their national costume from the Faroe Islands. Each costume has its own story:

The Crown Prince received his red, blue and green costume as a gift from Faroe Islands Governance and Lagting back in the days. Crown Princess Mary received hers back in 2005 at her first official visit to the islands, here. Its silver pieces are specially designed to the Crown Princess. On occasion of the children also visiting the Faroe Islands; each child were given their very own national costume. Prince Christian's suit is a gift from Tórshavn municipality, while Princess Isabella's costume is from Sunda municipality. The national costume worn by Prince Vincent is a gift from Runavik municipality and Princess Josephine's is from Klaksík municipality. All the costumes goes with a longer story which can be found, here.

Mary embraced the style of her national costume by wearing stunning Hartmann's earrings, a Dulong Fine Jewelry- and Cartier bracelet and diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Her hair was beautifully created in an updo seldom seen lately.

- Dinner -
It had already been a long day when the Crown Prince couple arrived to Nordens Hus for dinner - and dancing. The dinner was hosted by Prime Minister, Aksel V. Johannesen. Earlier in the morning he was the one welcoming the couple with an exquisite speech. Along with his wife Mrs Katrin D. Apol, he welcomed the royal couple arriving to Nordens Hus. From everything I see both Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary were in a splendid mood beginning of the evening.

Pictures from the dinner show an entertained Crown Prince couple. During the dinner Crown Prince Frederik also gave a remarkable speech which seemed to make his wife very proud. A dinner was not the only thing the couple attended that night. They also participated a dance - hand in hand with everybody else. Sining and dancing was a joyful part of the program. A video has been posted down below. Everything seems so relaxed, right?

Not much had changed from since the arrival in Tórshavn earlier in the morning. Still it is worth commenting. At the dinner Mary had her hair down and only in a half-updo. This she had embraced with two silver pieces which I think we have seen at a couple of previously occasions. She has similar ones in golden as well. She then wore large floral diamond earrings which was also worn when attending 'the Who Award' in 2017, here. At the time they were identified as being purchased on auction at Bruun Ramussen.

Actually she had just created an entirely new outfit with different accessories. That also goes with the shoes she had chosen to wear. Heaven and her sharp eyes noticed a new pair of ankle strap pumps. She managed to identify them as Chloé. I am sure they are both comfortable to wear all evening and to dance in. Heaven also shared her thoughts with me about a new clutch. Unfortunately I have not been able to verify this idea. Although I think she could be right from what I have seen so far. To all photographers and medias; please share a few more close-ups with us. That would be great. Think many of us would also like to see details from the national costumes. That is simply not possible with what we have got so far.

Meeting with 'SDG High Level Advisory Board'

August, Wednesday 22nd

On Wednesday the Crown Princess particip the very first meeting with 'SDG High Level Advisory Board'. The meeting had been organized by Dansk Industri in collaboration with Global Company Network Denmark and Industriens Fond. According to the Danish royal house, the meeting aimed to create dialogue and exchange on the topic 'Sustainable Business Development'.

The Crown Princess participated the advisory board meeting (and other activities) by invitation as committed to the global agenda on development and innovation.

Not much has been published about the meeting, nor it is an official event in her calendar. I guess she took part of the meeting shortly before leaving Denmark to visit the Faroe Islands along with the rest of her family. From what has been posted on the royal family's Facebook and Instagram, I think we see a delighted Crown Princess - in the middle of everything.

Participating a meeting in a scale like this takes a well-chosen outfit. Once again Mary hit bullseye. She dazzled in a brand new printed dress. I learned from Heaven that the new dress Mary wore at the meeting is from Michael Michael Kors. Laura is the one who managed to identify it. Great job, right? I would really like to get a closer look but it is a bit difficult with only one picture published.

At first I though she was wearing some kind of long necklace. Looking closer I realized that it is part of the dress. Take a look at the link below and then I am sure you will see the very same. To me it looks like she could be wearing earrings as well. On this distance it is indeed difficult for me to decide about the shoes - are they a reuse or brand new? Personally I believe they could be reuse from years ago. I have a specific pair of shoes in mind worn in 2007, here. I know; it is a crazy guess. Still  I think it is a qualified suggestions. Those worn more than 10 years ago are from Pura Lpez. Unfortunately I was not able to find them sold anywhere online anymore.

Overall this is an incredible outfit - but casual and sophisticated at the same time. Imagine the dress with a pair of nude pumps and an updo for something a bit more official. I hope we get to see her wear this beautiful dress (and shoes) soon again for us to get a better look at it.

For almost a week the Crown Princess has been back a work after a long holiday with her family. Earlier on August 15th she met with CEO of the Mary Foundation, Helle Østergaard, here. The two of them had a meeting about 'the Free of Bullying'-suitcases.

In the evening she attended a 175th anniversary. It is on occasion of Tivoli is celebrating its 175th birthday that both Crown Princess Mary and Princess Benedikte attended as guests or honor. The anniversary was celebrated with a gala premiere of 'New York City Ballet' performance in Tivoli's Concert Hall. Both women arrived in a splendid mood to enjoy a wonderful evening in Tivoli. I do not know if any of you have had the chance to visit Tivoli in Copenhagen, but it is a really magnificent experience. I have had the chance myself a couple of times. The atmosphere is remarkable. Sadly I have never visited the place while royals were too. Maybe that will happen one day.

With a huge smile on their faces at the arrival, I believe the two of them had a great time in Tivoli that evening. From everything I see, read and hear it was a wonderful performance taking place in the concert hall.

Two beautiful women, wearing two (very different but) beautiful evening dresses. Princess Benedikte embrace the style by wearing a green and blue evening gown. It features a lovely neckline and empire-cute. She matched the dress with blue heels and white pearls.

Mary, on the other hand, had chosen to wear a brand new burgundy maxi dress. This new wonder features embellished mirrors and studs. I had several different designers in mind while trying to identify its designer. Heaven helped me and found Mary's new dress at Tory Burch (collection: Fall RTW 2015). She wore it a bit differently than the model from Tory Burch's fashion show - because she wore the scarf as belt. Dianna Agron did the same in 2015, here. Its colour makes everything good next to her porcelain skin and dark brown hair - don't you think?

Plenty of jewellery accessorized her outfit the evening in Tivoli. Mary embraced the style by wearing pink and yellow earrings from Annikat, a golden Orit Elhanati necklace as well as her golden Cartier bangle featuring diamonds. We also get a glimpse of two diamonds rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Furthermore I see a couple more bracelets, but blurry pictures makes it a hard time for me to identify them. Does any of you manage to find quality close-ups?

Somehow I think we have seen that shawl before in 2013 while visiting Morocco, here. By the way, the two colours makes a great match. Powder pink and burgundy - clever. Mary also wore a little red leather clutch from Sergio Rossi. Left we have to talk about shoes. I imagine she could be wearing an old pair of silver sandals as worn here. We have seen the sandals on several occasions and I think it is likely that these are the one she is wearing at the concert. Please, let me know what you think - also about her look in general. I am stunned by (almost) everything I see.

The 'Free of Bullying'-suitcase

August, Wednesday 15th

It is simply lovely to have the Crown Prince couple back. Since they arrived to Copenhagen, Crown Princess Mary has had much to do. She both attended the 'Future of Fashion' show in Bella Center on occasion of Copenhagen Fashion Week, here. The following day she met with CEO of Women Deliver, Katja Iversen to be informed about future work and projects, here.

On August 15th the Crown Princess then met with CEO of the Mary Foundation, Helle Østergaard to work on content for the Free of Bullying suitcases - and it is all about emotions. Because what do emotions look like? The project aim to develop the understanding of how to act again bullying. Free of Bullying offer plenty of activities for children in age of 0-9 to strengthen a feeling of community and prevent bullying among the children.

This is how the Crown Princess spend some of her Wednesday - in company of Helle Østergaard, CEO of the Mary Foundation. The meeting took place at Amalienborg in what I would call the more official meeting room. The Mary Foundation shared a photo from the meeting on Facebook.

Meeting with CEO of the Mary Foundation, Mary had chosen to wear a brand new red blouse featuring a lovely floral print. Heaven managed to identify where this new wonder is from. The designer is Rag & Bone. Do not think we have seen her wear this designer before - have we? The colours are simply great next to her fair skin and dark hair. Mary embraced the style by wearing, what I believe is, a black skirt. Only a few pictures have been shared from the meeting. Non of them show her lower body. I wouldn't be surprised if she was in fact wearing trousers.

With a new belt she accessorized her professional meeting look. I wonder if the belt and skirt is one design? Or if she just added a belt. Somehow the combo makes me think of Prada, though I have not found anything yet to confirm my suspicion. Have you found something interesting? As jewellery she had chosen a pair of golden earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry and two diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen - seems to be a favourite combo these days. Wearing golden earrings I think she could have worn her Orit Elhanti necklace as well. That is only guesswork.

Meeting with CEO of Women Deliver, Katja Iversen

Thursday, August 9th

It was only a few days ago the Crown Prince family arrived back in Copenhagen after having spend some time on board Dannebrog, here. On August 8th she attended an event in Bella Center on occasion of Copenhagen Fashion Week 2018, here.

The following day (on my birthday) the Crown Princess had a meeting with CEO of Women Deliver, Katja Iversen. The meeting took place at Amalienborg around noon - the time shows on her phone. Women Deliver is the world's largest conference on girls and women's well-being, health, rights and equality. The conference was held in Copenhagen back in 2016. At that time Crown Princess Mary was chosen patron of the event.

Katja Iversen, CEO of Women Deliver, presented a status of the organisations activities and future plans, projects and events - among other things. I imagine the two women had plenty of things to talk about. As CEO of Women Deliver, Katja Iversen also gave an update about the next conference taking place in June, in Canada 2019. The Danish Royal House informs that the Crown Princess is in influence of the organisations campagne 'Deliver-for-Good'.

Meeting with Katja Iversen, CEO of Women Deliver, Mary was dressed in a brand new piece. At this point I am not quite sure if it is a dress or a two-piece - you know, skirt and blouse. The new piece features no sleeves, a high nigh collar and the most amazing print. The color is great too. I managed to find a few dresses at Ganni featuring the exact same colour and print last night. But not the same model. Now there is no about about Ganni being the designer. I'm still not sure about it being a dress or two-piece. Heaven kindly shared her thoughts and findings with me. She goes with a two-piece from a 2016 collection. I tend to agree with her.

Mary accessorized her new blue creation with old white pearl earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry - the same who created the multicoloured pearl bracelet. Once again she was wearing her golden Cartier bangle and two diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. The same combo as on August 8th, here. I still wonder where her engagement- and wedding ring are? Maybe getting polished or ready for 12 more years on her finger? Who knows. Still I like the two diamond rings very much. Especially with one on each hand.

Her hair was styles in a simple ponytail and her makeup was all natural. Am I the only one who just love when she's embracing the ponytail-style? Somehow Mary makes that hairstyle so chic and sophisticated. Makes me love it all over again.

"Future of Fashion"

Wednesday, August 8th

After a long holiday with her family - both staying at Gråsten Castle in Gråsten, visiting Skagen and traveling on board Danneborg. Now the Crown Princess is back at work. On her first day back to work she visited Bella Center in Copenhagen. It was on occasion of the collaborative show 'Future of Fashion' that she visited the summit. The show is orchestrated by Designskolen Kolding and Kunstakademiets Designskole. It is part of Copenhagen International Fashion Fair (CIFF) taking place these days in Bella Center. This makes both CIFF and 'Future of Fashion' part of Copenhagen Fashion Week 2018. Around 2,000 brands and designers are also represented at the fashion week.

'Future of Fashion' is the show where students from both Designskolen Kolding and Kunstakademiets Designskole show their latest creations with focus on innovation and technology. Congratulations to all of those students who have worked their way up to present each a collection. I know how much it takes. Be proud of yourself.

The Crown Princess arrived in a wonderful mood wearing a brand new powder pink dress. She was one big smile. Following the fashion show, she was about to present three awards to the most talented and skilled new designers. She also payed a visit to the exhibition entitled 'Future of Fashion - the Exhibition'. All these new and innovative materials in fashion industry seemed to have the Crown Princess' attention. It was with great interest she enjoyed her day in Bella Center, Copenhagen. Not a bad way to start work again.

As much as Mary always manage to mesmerize people around her with her personality, I think people around the world are mesmerized by that powder pink dress. Well, at least I am. A really beautiful dress. A piece many are looking for. Personally I think it makes good sense for it to be from a Danish designer working with some kind of sustainability. Often we see her wear such clothes at these event. And it makes great sense, right? When writing this post earlier I had no idea where to find the dress. Nor had any of my fellow royal watchers. I managed to identify the dress as a design from ArtFusion Copenhagen. They proudly shared the new on Instagram, here. Still I am not quite sure if it features flowers or birds.Apparently the print is based on original artwork. The length is fascination too.

She had then chosen to accessorize her new dress with a belt. Nor have this been found. Yet. Not sure I fancy the belt very much, but it makes a fine match to the colour of the dress. Especially the printed flowers or birds match in colour. A reader made me aware that she had worn the belt once before. At an event back in 2016 on occasion of the Crown Prince Couples Awards, here. Reused Gianvito Rossi pumps and Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings makes a perfect combo as well. I see, what I strongly believe is, a Dulong Fine Jewelry pearl bracelet and her golden bangle from Cartier. Mary also embraced the style with her golden Orit Elhanti necklace. Somehow I can not her engangement ring anywhere. Makes me wonder if she just keeps it simple by wearing only diamond bands or maybe it is getting fixed somehow. Well it is only speculations. Nevertheless, I think the two diamond bands is a great way to accessorize this very feminine outfit. To me it looks like, at least one ring, is from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen.

She is the epitome of summer with this look - a soft material, pastel colour, wavy hairstyle and natural makeup.

Vacation time

A week ago or so I announced that the blog (and I) was going on vacation. This year I brought my computer. Today I enjoy a day off and decided to fetch up a little with everything since I left Denmark on August 5th. You know; free wifi, a computer and a day off makes it hard for me not to write a little.

As we all know the Crown Prince family has spend their vacation in Gråsten - partly on their own and later joined by the Queen and her sister Queen Anne-Marie. Apparently the family decided to see more than just Gråsten. They also visited Skagen - the city as far as you can come north of Jutland. Differently worth a visit if you ever visit Denmark. The Crown Princess captured a beautiful evening spend by the sea, here.

Then on August 3rd the family decided to enjoy their vacation on board Dannebrog - the beloved royal yacht. All unofficially. They both visited Aarhus, Samsø, here, Lyø and Lolland. At Lolland the family enjoyed a day in Knuthenborg Safaripark, where more than 1,000 wild animals live like in nature itself. It is the largest safaripark in Northern europe. Also worth a visit. From everything I see, the family have had a wonderful time on board Danneborg. Lots of wonderful pictures have been shared with us from the tour, here. All taken by the Crown Princess herself. We even get to see a couple of pictures of the Crown Prince couple. That rarely happens. What a treat.
