'The Nutcracker'

Friday, December 1st

Though this happened about fourteen days ago, I thought you might still wanna know about it.

On December 1st, the Crown Prince family enjoyed the evening together by visiting the theater. They joined the premiere of The Nutcracker at the Royal Theater in Copenhagen. The Nutcracker is a classic Christmas ballet that goes perfectly for families -like the Crown Prince couple. The wonderful story is actually written in 1816 by E.T. A. Hoffmann, here. Unfortunately, I never watched a ballet before but that is going to happen one day. More than once. We know about this visit because of a Danish magazine, who captured the family's evening, here.

Christmas in Australia

A few weeks ago it was announced that the Crown Prince couple and their four children were about to spend Christmas in Australia, along with the Crown Princess's family. At the same time it was announced that Prince Joachim and Princess Marie should also spend Christmas abroad while the Queen and her husband stay in Denmark during Christmas. Usually, the whole family spend the evening together but a couple of years ago the Crown Prince family, apparently, started a new tradition -which is called 'Australian Christmas'.

I am still in the opinion that the family should be allow to keep their vacation in private. Which is why I'm not going to report each and every step they are taking. If you do not agree with my decision, there are plenty of blogs etc. that will show you what you want. Don't worry; I am still going to keep you updated. Just not as closely as usually.

Let's enjoy the next couple of weeks before Christmas with each other. Don't forget to follow my new page on Pinterest, here. New boards will soon be added.

Update: December 13th
According Danish media the family has now arrived to Sydney. The Crown Prince couple were spotted along with some friends shortly after the arrival at a boat race.

Update: December 18th
Several media tell that the Crown Prince and Crown Princess enjoy their Australian holiday close by the sea with swimming and running.

Update: December 22nd
After almost fourteen days in Sydney, the Crown Prince family seems to be off to Tasmania where the Crown Princess was born and grew up. So, a few days before Christmas the whole family is gathered again.

Update: December 26th
A few days before Christmas, the Crown Princess enjoyed a day in Hobart, along with all four children, friend Amber Petty, older sister Patricia and nice Molly.

Finland's 100 years of independence

Wednesday, December 6th
KongehusetRoyals & FashionBilled-BladetFrederik et Mary

It was on occasion of Finland's 100 years of independence that the Crown Princess attended a gala at Molthes Palace in Copenhagen on Wednesday. On December 6th 2017 it is exactly 100 years ago Finland became an independent nation and that was about to be celebrated with the Crown Princess as guest of honor. This very special occasion has been celebrated more than once during the year under the theme 'yhdessä' that means 'together' in Finnish. A simple, clear and strong theme in my opinion. At the arrival she was kindly welcomed by Consul General Fritz Schur, whom she also enjoyed a conversation with during the evening. The Crown Princess really seemed to feel comfortable in everyone's company and vice versa.

Congratulations to Finland on behalf of their anniversary.

I have already heard much about her outfit -good and bad. Personally, I have only good things to say. Think it is a long time since we have seen her dazzle as much as she did at the gala. A shiny star on a clear sky. She surpassed everyone else in her new black embellished dress. I have still not been able to figure out where it is from or who created it. Any ideas? Had several designers in mind but non of them seems to be the one I'm looking for. Could it be custom made and then the reason why I can't find it? Nevertheless, Mary embraced the magnificent look by wearing matching diamond earrings, two large brooches and a rings. A few pictures show that she carried a small black box clutch and possibly black satin pumps from Prada. Not only the dress reminds me of a passioned flamingo dancer; the hairstyles do too. A beautiful bun decorated by a braid. This is in no doubt one of my absolutely favourite outfits the past year.

Visiting Kræftværket

Tuesday, December 5th

On Tuesday the Crown Princess visited Kræftværket, hereat Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen. Kræftværket offer room for young people between 15-29, who is in treatment for cancer at Rigshospitalet, here & here. Here they can meet with peers in the same situation as themselves, join activities which is adapted to their age and enjoy the company of others. During the visit, which was not part of her official calendar, she took plenty of time talking to each and everyone. With great sympathy she listened to everything she was told. The Crown Princess also got a chance to talk to young ambassadors and other volunteers from Kræftværket.

Though it was an unofficial visit, we have quite many pictures. These show that Mary was wearing a reused black Hugo Boss coat at the arrival, matching slim trousers and a brand new bright red blouse. Heaven quickly identified the new blouse as Iris & Ink. This designer also crossed my mind but Heaven got it way before I did. Actually the blouse is a cashmere sweater featuring the most lovely sleeves. Unfortunately, non of the pictures show which pair of shoes she had chosen to wear. But I got a glimpse of her old leather bag from Bottega Veneta. Big enough to carry anything and everything. I always loved its shaped and braided textures. A few years ago I received my very own Veneta wallet as a gift from a dear friend. I have used it every day since.

Church service in Vor Frue church

Sunday, December 3rd

It was on occasion of the celebration of the 500 anniversary of the reformation that the Crown Prince couple attended a church service in Vor Frue church. The exact same church were the couple got married in 2004. I bet it is always a very special feeling for both of them to visit the church.

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary were in a splendid mood, when they arrived. The service took place around noon.

Representatives from both the Protestant and the Catholic church attended the church service on this very special day. Not everyday we get the chance to celebrate a 500 anniversary. As part of the service, the representatives created an entry parade.

The weather is cold, rainy and windy these days so I completely understand why she has chosen a long wool coat for this occasions. Nothing else would suit as perfectly. Mary has worn the grey coat on several other occasions but I have never managed to identify it. Underneath it looks like she was wearing a navy blue or black fitted dress, matching the rest of the accessories because of the colour. Because she embraced the style by wearing her blue Quidam clutch and a reused hat. You thought it was new? -well, it is not. The hat goes back to 2011 when she attended the naming of a new ship taking place in Kalundborg, here. Personally, I loved her outfit back then a bit more then this time. Other than a hat and clutch, she also wore a fine little brooch and sky high pumps from Prada. Think I see a pair of diamond earrings as well. Wish I was able to get a close look at her outfit, especially the dress. Can't think of any old dress she could be wearing. But I doubt she'd be wearing a brand new dress for the event. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

First advent with the Crown Prince family

I am sure many of you have plenty of traditions you can't live without during December and around Christmas eve. So does the Crown Prince family. One of them is the first sunday of advent. Here the  Crown Prince family decorate their several meters height Christmas three. This year we were allowed to closely follow the tradition because of video posted on the royal family's Facebook. Later, a picture taken by the Crown Princess was posted on Instagram. I have really come to love these posts very much. A few years ago, it wasn't even possible for us to dream that one day we would see something this private. Quite often we get to see from inside the walls of Amalienborg because, especially, the Crown Princess share her pictures with us.

In my family it is a tradition to decorate the tree on December 23rd; the day before we celebrate Christmas in Denmark. Do you have any traditions when it comes to decorating the Christmas tree? Anything that simply just has to be there? For me it is the candles.

Theater premire in Copenhagen

Wednesday, November 22nd

First of all, note that this event was taking place about two weeks ago. I first learned about her participating of the event yesterday, here. On November 22nd the Crown Princess attended the premiere of a play called Liva at Folketeateret in Copenhagen. At the arrival she was welcomed by chairman of the board Uffe Ellemann-Jensen and his wife, here.

I know a bit more about what she was wearing. Or at least most of it. Mary embraced a chic winter style by wearing a black turtleneck, matching trousers and her beloved white Prada coat. Think she's wearing the same, unidentified, black pointed boots as when she and Frederik visited Museum Jorn on November 25th, here. She added leather gloves, her old Bottega Veneta handbag, diamond earrings and a reused necklace from Piaget to her evening outfit.

EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2017

Thursday, November 30th

The Crown Princess attended the presentation of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2017, here, which took place at Frederiksberg in Copenhagen. EY Entrepreneur of the Year is an insider competition for people who build and successfully run and expand companies. It is the biggest in the world. The Crown Princess was kindly welcomed by Jury Chairman of EOY Lars Fløe Nielsen. She was also given a beautiful bouquet of flowers. With a glass of water in her hands she entered the stage and gave a remarkable speech to all the participants, as part of her attendance. Her motivative and inspiring speech was met with great applause.

Aller Aqua A/S was announced this year's winner of the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2017 as Denmark's best growth company. Aller Aqua will then represent Denmark at the World Entrepreneur Of The Year, which will take place in Monaco next year. Congratulations to Aller Aqua and the other seven Danish companies who received a prize.

Attending the grand presentation Mary was dressed in a brand new purple blouse featuring 3/4 sleeves and black wide leg trousers. I think the trousers are new as well. She dazzled wearing her black Prada coat at the arrival, worn over only her shoulders. The new purple blouse has been identified by Kate as Prada. Do you like the colour on her? From what I have heard, purple is Mary's favourite colour. She accessorized the look with some incredible jewellery - long diamond earrings featuring a purple drop shaped amethyst, a golden Cartier bracelet and rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Mary also impressed with a couple of other bracelets, which I haven't been able to find about more about. I think the diamond one could be from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen but I'm not quite sure. At the arrival I got a glimpse of the black Carlend Copenhagen clutch -an old goodie. The same goes with the pumps. They are reused from Gianvito Rossi and feature a pointed silver cap toe.

Christmas reception with the Mary Foundation

Thursday, November 30th

For several years the Crown Princess has kept a very special tradition going. Each year all the Mary Foundation's partners and collaborators are invited to Amalienborg to attend a Christmas reception. The reception is, of course, hosted by the Crown Princess herself. This year is even a bit more special because, as you remember, the Mary Foundation celebrate its 10th anniversary, which has already been celebrate with a big dinner, here. The reception is a great place for the Crown Princess to thanks all for the previous year and to welcome a new one. A few pictures have been shared from the gathering and everything seems to be in a great mood, hereAlso the foundation's CEO Helle Østergaard attended the reception. Both women took plenty of time talking with all the attendances. A really lovely tradition. Christmas is without doubt my favourite time a year and this is why -we are gathered with friends and family; business partners and collaborators.

Red is without doubt connected with Christmas. And leadership and power. Spot on for the occasion. Do you recognize the dress? It is from Dolce & Gabbana worn only a couple of months ago on September 28th when the Crown Prince couple attended the grand opening of LEGO House, here. At the time we got more than just a glimpse of her complete outfit. This was not the case on Thursday. But the significant stitching identified what dress she was actually wearing. Mary embraced the style with a golden Orit Elhanati necklace and diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Not to forget; a Mary Foundation-brooch shaped as a butterfly like their logo. On a few other occasions she has been wearing the brooch before. She matched it all with a red nail polish, a blow out and elegant makeup. I would love to have seen what pair of shoes she had chosen to wear for the occasion.

The Child Welfare Day 2017

Thursday, November 30th

The Crown Princess attended, as patron, a tennis event in KB-Hallen in Copenhagen. The event took place on occasion of the Child Welfare Day 2017. Famous tennis player Caroline Wozniacki also participated the event. Caroline Wozniacki also welcomed the Crown Princess with a great smile and huge, at the time she arrived. 25 children in the age between 10-18, who are in foster care, participated the tennis event with great pleasure I think. This is really what the Child Welfare Day is all about -to help children, who are in foster care in Denmark. The event is meant to encourage the children to enjoy physical activities. While Caroline Wazniacki played a few matches with some of the kids; the Crown Princess watched and had a chat with the Child Welfare Day's CEO Ina Thorndahl. Couple of years ago she also attended a similar event and at that time she even participated a game, here. I don't think she did this time.

Attending the tennis event Mary was dressed in a good old suit! Well, it isn't that old really. She wore it the first time on September 19th earlier this year on a visit in New York with the United Nations General Assembly, here. At that time her navy blue suit featuring white stripes, were identified as Hugo Boss. Only a couple of weeks ago I found a picture of the trousers as well, which I of course have shared with you below. Another old goodie is her scarf. It goes way back. For years I tried to find it with no luck. Then a couple of years ago a reader shared a rumor and it turned out to be right. The scarf was then found at By Malene Birger. Think she's wearing diamond earrings too. Now, we have only the shoes left to talk about. No bag this time. Mary had chosen reused wedges boots. These were first worn at a football game in Parken on November 11, here. I suggested Clarks as a possible designer. That came out to be wrong. When writing this post I tried, once again, to identify them. Then I came across a similar model from the Danish shoe designer Angulus and it has now been confirmed to be correct. Angulus is the designer and the model is still available if any of you are interested.

Neighborhood Mothers

Tuesday, November 28th

On Tuesday, the Crown Princess visited the organization Neighborhood Mothers, here. It was an unofficial visit. I learned about it on the royal family's Facebook page. Neighborhood Mothers is an organization consists primarily of women with an ethnic minority background, who volunteer local efforts to support other women. All this for women to be better at helping themselves and their family. The organization has 40 groups across Denmark. I have only been able to find very little information about the visit, but I know the Crown Princess was told about the organization's work and experiences on supporting other women. From what I see the atmosphere was very relaxed and all of them seemed to have a great time.

During her visit at Neighborhood Mothers Mary was beautifully dressed in a brand new blouse featuring white dots. When I first was it; Julie Fagerholt Heartmade was the first designer that crossed my mind. Well, that was not the case. I shared my thoughts with a good friend of mine and Kate managed to find out where it is actually from. Britt Sisseck is the one. End of November Mary also dazzled in her design. Do you remember her Sisseck dress from when she handed over the Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize 2017, here? This time she matched her Sisseck creation with a pair of black trousers. My guess is that she wore black ankle boots to match the rest of the outfit. Any other ideas? Unfortunately, only a few pictures have been published so I can't tell for sure. Think she was wearing her diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen as well.

The Crown Prince Couple's Prizes 2017

Saturday, November 25th

It all starts with the Crown Prince couple arriving to Jysk Musikteater in Silkeborg where the two hosts welcome viewers of the show. What happens next made me smile. Crown Prince Frederik acted as host for a few minutes and it seems like he's having lots of fun. Meanwhile his wife enjoy the scene from first raw. The Crown Prince Couple's Prizes 2017 is everything I hoped for; everything I wished it would be. A wonderful show with great music, lots of speeches, smiles and happy memories for all the winners. The prizes have now been handed over in 13 years. Amazing how time pass by with such speed and power. Both Crown Prince Frederik and his wife Crown Princess Mary really seemed to enjoy the evening from first raw. Several times they entered the stage, as hosts, to present and hand over four prizes. These are the prizes which were presented during the evening:

// The Crown Prince Couple's Culture Prize, which was given to Den Sorte Skole along with DKK 500,000.
// The Crown Prince Couple's Social Prize was handed over to the organization DIGNITY along with DKK 500,000
// The Crown Prince Couple's Stardust Prizes were received by the podcast Third Ear and designer Cecilie Bahnsen. Congratulations to all of them.

For me it has been a true pleasure to watch the show, though I didn't watch it live on Saturday. So, I talked about the show and now time is up for us to talk much more about what Mary was wearing at the event. For 13 years we have got to see Mary wear the most beautiful outfit -do you remember this here & here? Any favourites? This year she was dressed in a brand new blue dress featuring lace details. Usually we are left on our own trying to identify where her clothes are from. Sometime I wish she would be wearing clothes with a visual logo at front. That would make everything more easy for all of us. But this time was very different, because the making of her dress has been filmed and was then broadcasted during the show. Winner of one of the Crown Prince Couple's Stardust Prizes 2017, Cecilie Bahnsen created Mary's dress. According to an interview with the designer; Mary chose the colour herself. When she presented Cecilie Bahnsen as winner, she proudly showed off her very own dress with a great smile. At the arrival we got a glimpse of her white Prada coat and brand new Rupert Sanderson pumps. These were identified by Heaven afterwards. Seems like embellished pumps are incredibly popular right now. She embraced a chic and stylish evening outfit by wearing her J. Furnami clutch, Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings and white pearl ring such as a golden Cartier bracelet.

Museum Jorn in Silkeborg

Saturday, November 25th

It is with great pleasure I look forward to watch the Crown Prince couple's Prizes each year. This year is no exception. But more about the award show in my upcoming post. Now it is all about a visit somewhere else in Silkeborg. A Dane caught the couple arriving by train to Silkeborg, here, before they were about to visit Museum Jorn, here. The museum is dedicated to the Danish painter Asger Jorn and his masterpieces.

Arriving to the museum in Silkeborg, the Crown Prince couple were warmly welcomed with flags, smiles, flowers and lots of greetings. Despite the cold many Danes showed up to get a glimpse of the couple, who took plenty of time meeting as many as possible before entering the museum. The royal couple got the chance to see the regular exhibition and the latest exhibition by the American artist Cindy Sherman. They were given a guided tour around the museum where they were introduced to, among other things, Jorn's very experimental approach to art. Agser Jorn is differently an artist, who has become famous for his own way of making art, here.

Before or after the Crown Prince couple visited the Museum Jorn, they participated a rehearsal for tonight's award show taking place in Jysk Musikteater in Silkeborg, here.

When the couple visited the museum in Silkeborg, Mary dazzled in a black an burgundy outfit perfectly matching the season and weather. She embrace a chic and stylish look by wearing a pair of brand new trousers in burgundy. I have already had several requests and seen many more. Therefor, I am a proud to tell you that I was actually able to identify them as Hugo Boss. She paired the new trousers with a black knitted blouse, which remain unidentified. But if you like the style Aiayu got a similar model also owned by Mary, here. Thought they look very much the same; it's not the case. Aiayu confirmed that to me in an email on a previous occasion.

When arriving she wore a good old piece from Prada styled with a brand new brooch. When it comes to other jewellery worn during the visit, I see a pair of earrings which could be from Hartmann's and a few rings. The brooch is a creation by Marni.

Both pointed ankle boots from Hugo Boss, burgundy leather gloves and nail polish matched the rest of the outfit with such perfection. Makes me wanna try something similar. Frederik also looked very handsome in his navy trousers, beige sweater and brown blazer. They just make a great couple.

The Childen's Day 2017

Monday, November 20th

The Crown Princess was in a splendid mood when she, around noon, arrived to UNICEF in Copenhagen to attend the Children's Day. She was warmly welcomed with smiles, greetings and flowers. Despite the cold, everyone were in a great mood already from when the Crown Princess arrived. As part of her attendance, the Crown Princess gave a speech as key note speaker at the event. I have not read it yet, but I am quite she mentioned things from this years theme -education; national and globally.

Attending the Children's Day in Copenhagen, Mary was beautifully dressed in a bright blue dress and red coat. Both pieces are reused at previous occasions. The dress goes back to 2015 when she attended the Danish Home Guard's painting exhibition, here. It has never been identified. I have always had Prada in mind, but never really been able to confirm that. What thoughts have you had? When it comes to the magnificent red coat, it is completely different. First time she wore it, it was quickly identified as Diane von Furstenberg. Which means that this is the fourth time we see her wear it, herehere & here. She beautifully accessorized her look with several pieces from both Dulong Fine Jewelry, Orit Elhanati, Cartier and that little brooch from Women Deliver. At the arrival she showed us one of her latests new piece -a bright blue Prada bag perfectly matching the rest of her outfit. The two colours looks just great. She embraced a complete and polished look by wearing reused patent pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Anything you would like to change? -I can't mention a thing. I really like her hairstyle as well. Love the fact that it's a bit curly.

Visiting Danish Swimming Federation

Monday, November 13th

As patron of the Danish Swimming Federation, here, the Crown Princess visited the Danish swimming team, who are going to participate the European Championship short-circuit swimming.  The championship is taking from on December 13-17th in Royal Arena in Copenhagen. The visit was all unofficially from what I have been able to find out. Other than a couple of pictures, this is all I know about her visit. Seems like the Crown Princess really enjoyed herself meeting the team, such as the team seemed to find great pleasure in meeting the Crown Princess.

As little as I have been able to read about her visit, as little do I know about her clothes. The few pictures published have not revealed much -at least not to me. From what I Mary was wearing a very comfortable outfit. She wore a new grey blouse featuring a white turtleneck and hemline and black trousers. My guess is that she could be wearing some king of ankle boots or maybe even sneakers. On a couple of pictures it looks like she embraced the style by wearing a pair of diamond earrings. A simple and everyday makeup completed the look perfectly.

Accordring to Billed-Bladet the Crown Prince couple accompanied Prince Christian for the great football battle in Parken, Copenhagen, Saturday evening. Prince Joachim and his son Prince Felix also attended the game. They arrived along with a few friends shortly before the Crown Prince couple and they eldest son.

The game was taking place in the evening and judging from what the couple and their son were wearing, I guess it was a pretty old evening. The Crown Prince kept warm in a black wool coat. Prince Christian wore a cosy scar and down jacket. Meanwhile the Crown Princess dazzled in a brand new grey jacket/vest from Moncler. This 'strange' jacket and/or vest was identified by Heaven. A few more pictures have revealed that she wore jeans, a burgundy turtleneck and her black Dolce & Gabbana handbag and brand new wedges ankle boots. I have been looking everywhere to find them. I asked everybody, who could possibly help me. Nothing. Then I came across a similar model from a Danish shoe brand. A request confirmed my suggestion -Mary's new wedges boots are from Angulus.

#ChildMothers & Gender Diversity

Friday, November 10th

-#ChildMothers-
Crown Princess Mary arrived in a great mood to the Bella Center in Copenhagen on the day of the presentation. The new book was released on occasion of Bookforum 2017, here. The Crown Princess was warmly welcomed with flowers and greetings. It was as patron of UNFPS the Crown Princess attended the presentation of book #ChildMothers -17 girls stories about becoming a mother as a child. It is also as patron of the United Nations Population Fund that the Crown Princess has written the precepts of the new book. It tells the story of 17 girls from give different developing countries, who have all become mothers in a very young age. All the girls are between 12 and 15 years old. While visiting Burkina Faso last year, here & here, the Crown Princess met one of the girls from the book. During the visit she also talked about this trip and told about her experience. She also got a chance to meet with Pernille Fenger, CEO of UNFPA's nordic office.

-Gender Diversity-
The Crow Princess also attended, as guest, the meeting Gender Diversity Roundtable Denmark, here, taking place in the UN City in Copenhagen. Members of Roundtable were gathered to discuss concrete tools and solutions on how to increase the number of female executives in Denmark -so far we got 15. Well, maybe it is actually time for more women to become top managers? Let us hope meeting's like these will give more women the opportunity. I strongly respect that the Crown Princess was representative at the meeting even though it was "just" as a guest. For several years, as protector of multiple organizations and foundations, she has fought for women and girls' well-being, health and rights. So, her presence is particularly important at such meetings and sends a strong signal to the outside world about her point of view. A great respect that she manage to become political though she can't vote or express herself about politics.

During, both the presentation of #ChildMothers and attending the Gender Diversity meeting, Mary was stunningly dressed in a brand new, bright red Isabel Marant blouse. It features the most incredible details. I learned about the identity at UFO No More, here. Think you should take a look if you don't already know about this site -just a tip. She embraced the style by pairing the new blouse with a black pencil skirt, which I think could be new as well. At the arrival we got a glimpse of her black Prada coat (worn a million times before) and her black Dolce & Gabbana first seen two years ago at Bookforum 2015here. Do you remember it? She looked absolutely wonderful in her business-chic outfit. Especially because of the jewellery she had chosen to wear from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. And of course the studded Valentino pumps. This outfit makes me wanna wear my pencil skirt again. How would you style a pencil skirt? -like Mary or completely different?

Aarhus: 10th anniversary conference

Thursday, November 9th

On Tuesday 7th the Crown Princess attended the first of two conferences held on occasion of the 10th anniversary of Free of Bullying. The program is made in collaboration of the Mary Foundation and Save the Children ten years ago. This is celebrated with two conferences -one in Copenhagen, here, and one in Aarhus. Crown Princess Mary arrived to Centralværkstedet in Aarhus with a great smile on her face. I imagine her being very proud of what the anti-bullying program has achieved the last ten years. CEO of the Mary Foundation Helle Østergaard and General Secretary of Save the  Children Jonas Keiding Lindholm also attended the conference along with the Crown Princess. The two of them were also present at the conference taking place in Copenhagen a few days ago.

Arriving to Aarhus Mary was dressed perfectly for the weather. She wore a lovely navy blue coat from Harris Wharf London. Royals & Fashion suggest Fonnesbech as a possible ID, here. What I know of we have never seen her in it before. The lovely pink printed scarf is differently new. A really lovely combination - navy blue and pink. Looks really great. Such as what she was wearing under the new coat. She embraced a wonderful fall outfit by wearing a blue Prada blouse and brand new trousers. Heaven suggested ZARA as a possible designer for this new piece. Take a look at the model below and the one Mary wore. Do you also see the similarities? A rather simple outfit, looking absolutely stunning because of all the accessories. She had chosen to wear a blue handbag from Prada, jewellery from both Orit Elhanati, Dulong Fine Jewelry, Cartier and Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Love the fact that both earrings, bracelet and necklace match with such perfection. Her amazing snake pumps are from Prada. Incredible designs.

Hackathon symposium

Tuesday, November 7th

Earlier in the morning the Crown Princess attended the 10th anniversary conference for the Free of Bullying program made in collaboration of the Mary Foundation and Save the Children ten years ago, here. In the afternoon she attended the Hackathon symposium as patron of the Maternity Foundation, here. The symposium is organized, among others, the Maternity Foundation, UNFPA and the Danish Foreign Ministry.

The Crown Princess was warmly welcomed with flowers, huge smiles and greetings at the arrival. She attended the symposium as guest of honor. During the weekend representatives from several different organizations etc. have developed new, innovative possible solutions supporting sexual- and reproductive health and rights for women and girls on the run. Especially focusing on how technology can be useful. Later on, the best idea was announced. The Crown Princess showed her support and interest by giving a remarkable opening speech.

At the Hackathon symposium Mary was beautifully dress in a lovely combination of purple and grey. I am absolutely stunned by this combo. Never really thought it would look good, but it really does. What was your first thought? The first thing my eyes caught was her new shoes. Trying to identify them Alaïa and Jimmy Choo crossed my mind. I had no luck at all -Heaven did. She managed to find her new ankle boots at Alaïa. Take a look at the incredible design. They look just great. Other than the shoes, she wore a matching Hugo Boss clutch and what I believe could be a new golden ring from Dulong Fine Jewelry. Did you also noticed the golden Orit Elhanati necklace? So, this time we started with her accessories. Now on to everything else she was wearing. Mary embraced a chic winter style by wearing a reused blouse identified by Royals & Fashion, here, as Prada and matching trousers. The blouse goes has been worn here and here. When do you think she wore it better? My favourite is differently the one from the Hackathon symposium. Then we only have one piece left to talk about -the coat. No, it is not new. In 2007 she wore it the first time when she visited her friend Caroline Flemming in London, here. A few years back I managed to find it at Prada. I absolutely adore her outfit from the symposium.

For ten years the Mary Foundation and Save the Children's program Free of Bullying has helped children combat bullying, get more confident and learned the importance of a good community. This is also the basis idea of the program; that community among children can prevent bullying. Even outside Denmark, the program has become quite popular. Now it is time to celebrate the 10th anniversary, which is done with a conference. And of course did the Crown Princess attend -both a committed to the program and as founder and chairwoman of the foundation. She arrived to Docken in Copenhagen with a huge smile on her face. She was in a really good mood during the conference. CEO of the Mary Foundation Helle Østergaard and General Secretary of Save the Children Jonas Keiding Lindholm also attended the celebration. The two of them and the rest of the participants carefully listened when the Crown Princess gave her speech.

This is just one of two conferences. The first one takes place on November 7th in Copenhagen. The other one is in Aarhus on November 9th. The Crown Princess will be present at both.

Attending the conference in Copenhagen on Tuesday, Mary was beautifully dressed in a chic work-wear outfit. She embrace the style by wearing blue in many different shades. The blazer has been worn by her at an occasion back in 2015, here. Do you remember it? Love it the first time. Love it as much now. Looks great combined with that light blue Prada blouse, which goes way back in time. She matched all of it with blue accessories as well. At the arrival I also spotted a blue Prada bag. So,  Other than a bag Mary embraced a chic business-style by wearing earrings matched with a ring from Pomellato, such as her golden Orit Elhanati necklace and blue suede pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Another detail I have come to love pricelessly, is her hairstyle. Wauw. And her makeup as well. Flawless, polished and very suitable for the outfit and occasion. Anything you would like to change? -I got nothing.

Hubertus hunt in Dyrehaven

Sunday, November 5th

It has been a tradition for quite some years for the Danish royal family members, at least some of them, to attend the Hubertus hunt in Dyrehaven near the Eremitage palace, here. This year Crown Princess Mary enjoyed a day in Dyrehaven accompanied by all four children -Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine. The Hubertus hunt goes back to 1900 and has taken place since then on the first Sunday in November. Yes, very little changes in Denmark. To me it looks like the four royal children really enjoyed a day along with their mother and vice versa. From the balcony of the Eremitage palace the family closely followed the hunt; the Crown Princess with a cop of coffee in her hands. Following, the five royal members enjoyed a ride in Dyrehaven in an open coach. Several picture show that the family spend much time chatting with people also attending the hunt and the two princesses couldn't stay away from the horses.

We have already seen many lovely outfits the last few years when Mary and the children have attended the Hubertus hunt in Dyrehaven. I found some, here here. This year Mary was dressed in a cosy, warm outfit probably because of the rather cold weather. She dazzled in a new knitted turtleneck, a new down vest from Seeland, a reused green coat and slim jeans. Maybe not the most exciting combo but wait till you see it. Looks just great. I got a strong idea that the knitted turtleneck could be from Ralph Lauren. About her coat I am way more confident. A good friend of mine, Kate, managed to identify the coat even though it is 2012, here. And it is from Burberry. Unfortunately, I'm not able to share a link with you other than to another blogger, who shared a picture, here

She also showed up wearing a pair of brand new suede boots in green. Not sure I like them very much nor have I found them yet. Any ideas? I would really like to hear your opinion on this one. Tried everything and I still haven't got a clue where they are from. Mary accessorized her look with not just one, but two bags. One new. One old. The old one goes a few years back and is from DAY Birger et Mikkelsen. The other one is a brand new leather tote bag from Prada. Haven't found the right colour but I'm pretty sure I got the right model. Other than that she embraced a chic winter style by wearing diamond earrings and a matching ring from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen.

Christmas stamp 2017 & TUBA's 20th anniversary

Friday, November 3rd

-Christmas Stamp 2017-
The Crown Princess was in a splendid mood when she arrived to the City Hall in Copenhagen. Here she was about to reveal the annual Christmas Stamp 2017. It was at patron of the Christmas Seal Foundation she attended the presentation. For several years the Crown Princess has participated in the revealing. Two years ago, in 2015, she attended along with her mother-in-law Queen Margrethe, who presented her own design, here. This year the stamps, here, are created by the Danish illustrator and author Michael Wettendorff, who also attended the presentation. After the grand presentation, a few speeches and many smiles the Crown Princess attended a reception. She took plenty of time talking to the kids, who have participated the Christmas Seal Homes' program including how to handle and prevent bullying and weight loss. The Crown Princess listened with great interest and the kids gladly told her about their stay at the homes.

-20th anniversary-
After having attended the annual presentation of the Christmas Stamp 2017, the Crown Princess attended a reception on occasions of TUBA's 20th anniversary. The reception took place in Skuespilhuset in Copenhagen. She was warmly welcomed at the arrival by Henrik Appel, who is head of TUBA. On a daily basis TUBA offer free help, therapy and counseling to young people between 14 and 35, who grew up in a home with alcohol abuse from one or both parents, here. In 2014 TUBA received the Crown Prince Couple's Social Prize, here, for their inspiring and incredible work to help young people in Denmark. It is not the first the Crown Princess has met with people from TUBA. In 2015 she attended a group therapy session with users of the fund. As in 2015, the Crown Princess had plenty of time listening to the young people's stories.

At both events, the presentation of this years Christmas Stamp and at the 20th anniversary reception, Mary was beautifully dressed in a purple blouse and matching skirt. Both pieces have been worn before a couple of times in the very same combo. Think the first time was in 2016 when she visited Moldova, here. Do you recall having seen the outfit before? Well, I can't get enough of the colours. A very suitable colour next to her skin and lovely brown hair. Nor the blouse or skirt have yet been identified and I still do not know where to find them. So, if you got an idea I'd love to hear from you. All ideas are welcome. What I do know is that she was wearing diamond earrings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen seen at multiple occasions, such as her grey calfskin clutch from Quidam. She matched it all with snakeskin pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Despite all these reused pieces, she was also wearing one brand new. Did you notice it? A few pictures show her from behind. You know what I'm referring to? Yes, you're right -her new hair clip. These specific hair clips have become very popular among Danish women in all ages. A friend of mine got one and I fell in love with it right away. Now I love it even more. It's not very expensive, so maybe a Christmas present to yourself? Let me know if you buy one. Think I probably need one myself.
