Visiting 'Værket'

Thursday, April 27th

Crown Princess Mary visited Værket which is a project made in collaboration with Red Cross and the Mary Foundation. The visit took place in Copenhagen.

Since 2015 have the Mary Foundation and Red Cross been collaboration on the project Værket. The project aims to remedy loneliness among adults between 30 and 60 years. So it is really all about creating new memories, good experiences and connect people in the local community. Værket is acting in so called "networking groups" that arrange different activities etc. In 2016 Mary met with one of these networking groups in Slagelse, here. On Thursday she met with a networking group at Nørrebro, Copenhagen. During her visit Mary was introduced to a few of their exercises. The reason for her visit is the project Denmark Eat Together which is organized by People's Movement Against Solitude who, by the way, work in collaboration with both the Mary Foundation and Red Cross.

In windy and cold weather the Crown Princess arrived to Nørrebro, where she was kindly welcomed by a flower girls handing over a bouquet to Mary. During her visit Mary took plenty of time speaking with as many as possible. She wasn't in a hurry at all which is what I thing Danes, and everyone else, love so much about her. The Crown Princess always takes time to listen. She was also offered a little something to eat before her visit ended a few hours later. As always, a true pleasure.

April weather in Denmark changes almost every minute. For this reason it is not the most easy thing to the right outfit. Still, Mary did a pretty good job trying. Not sure I am a huge fan of every single piece, but the combination is exquisite! At the arrival she was wearing what I think could be a brand new bright blue coat. The colour really makes me smile. Underneath Mary has chosen a new white blouse from ba&sh and even new BW trousers from Julie Fagerholt Heartmade. So far I haven't been able to identify these three new pieces. It is with help from Kate I am able to telly you where these two pieces are from. Thanks to all of you who made me aware of the identification! Perfectly matching the rest of the outfit, she wore a pair of navy blue suede pumps. Because lack of pictures I do not know for sure if it is her pumps from Gianvito Rossi or Pura Lopez. Have you seen anything that can help me find the right ones? She embrace the chic and rather casual style by wearing rose quartz earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry and a pearl bracelet. We also got to see her golden Shamballa Jewels bracelet again. Couple of years ago she was wearing it at almost every attending occasion. Last but not least she, once again, showed us a way to reuse her black Bottega Veneta bag. Just lovely!

A few new things

Since 2005 Crown Princess Mary has been patron of WHO/Europe. Her committment has given her the change to speak at several sessions of the WHO Regional Committee for Europe throughout the past years. In particular, she has spent a lot of time working to improve girls and women's rights, well-being and health. Back in 2013 the Crown Princess gave a video statement on occasion of the European and World Immunization Week 2013, here. Now she is back with another statement for European and World Immunization Week 2017, here, speaking about the importance of vaccines and how much effort about vaccine has already helped. Take some time and hear what she has to say, I am sure this will make you reconsider a few thing.

Soon, on May 11th, the 5th edition of Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2017 will take place in Copenhagen Concert Hall. It is as patron Crown Princess Mary will attend the summit on sustainable fashion. This year she will also participate the plenary on sustainable fashion in macro perspective. Read more about it here. It on this occasion a new photo of the Crown Princess has been published. Actually the same photo has been published in both black and white, here, and in colours, here

Exhibition: The Jewellery Box

Back in February the Crown Princess attended the opening of a brand new permanent exhibition in Aarhus, more specifically in Den Gamle By, here. I sure you remember the grand opening of this new exhibition, here. The main reason why tell you all this one more time is because I had the chance myself to visit the exhibition!

But first, a little more about what Den Gamle By is. In English it would go as The Old Town and is a open air museum, in Aarhus, goes all the way back to the beginning of 1900s. I even read that Den Gamle By is the world's first open air museum. The museum have houses going all the way back to 1500s, but also from mid 1800s, all the way till 1970s. By visiting Den Gamle By you get the chance to see for yourself how a home would look like in different ages. Another special thing about this museum, is the fact that all year around, especially during summer and Christmas, employees make the old town alive. The employees are dressed like they would have been on that time, during their jobs -cooking, going to the marked etc. What makes this place very unique and a reason why I love visiting the museum so much is the feeling to go back in time. While you enjoy, learn, hear and see the 21st century is completely shut out. The atmosphere is not to describe. Differently worth a visit if you are every in Denmark.

So, with this short introduction you all know what I am talking about when I tell you more about my visit. About two weeks ago I celebrated easter with a 10 days vacation. On Thursday I visited Den Gamle By along with my mom and dad. I was my ideas. Have a thing for historic places and it has been years since I have visited the open air museum. It was terribly cold and windy but the best day I have had for a long time. You probably enjoy spending time with your family as much as I do. One of the main reasons why I really wanted to visit Den Gamle By was because of the exhibition The Jewellery Box opened by the Crown Princess couple of months ago. And it was indeed magical! The exhibition display around 1,000 individual pieces of jewellery from 1900-200, made by Danish jewellery designers such as Georg Jensen, Thorvald Bindesbøll and Mogens Ballin. Everything from earrings to brooches and bracelets are beautifully exhibited in glass boxes. It has taken a German couple 40 years to make this stunning collection.

The exhibition is stored underground in the 1970s district. I left my parent in the old 70s record store near by to enter the world of jewellery. And it was magnificent! First it hit me how small the room is in real life. But it felt almost like cave. The glass boxes were lighted by hidden lights to make the atmosphere even more... magical. Every spot in the room were dedicated to a specific period. I tried to capture all of it in these photos. It was indeed a very special experience! I wish I could have shared it with all of you, sure you would have love every single moment as much as I did. But this was never really a reality. Instead I hope this post gives you the feeling having visited the place yourself. The exhibition is permanent so maybe Denmark is your next vacation destination?

TrygFondens (new) Family Houses

Tuesday, April 25th

Crown Princess Mary attended the inauguration of the expansion of TrygFondens Family Houses at Aarhus University Hospital, Aarhus.

Back in 2012 the Crown Princess attended the grand opening of TrygFondens new family houses at Aarhus University Hospital, here. Today she was back there to attend the inauguration of the expansion of the family houses. These houses acts as home for seriously ill children and their parents and siblings and has been a reality since 2012 when Mary was present at the opening. She arrived to Aarhus in a splendid mood and was welcomed with flowers, smiles and handshakes. She was the one cutting the red ribbon with a fine golden scissors. After the opening, the Crown Princess was given her very own guided tour around the new facilities and got to see the Family Houses playground. Something the children proudly showed her. She was also introduced to a new interactive floor as activity for the children laving with their family in the family houses near by Aarhus University Hospital. Last but not least Mary met a family who live in one of the houses.

Though the weather is not as splendid was Mary and her mood was at the opening, I love to see her in something a bit more colourful -all because we are getting closer to spring. Without the GOAT Fashion coat her outfit would have been a little plain. But that coat just makes the whole difference! I'm so thrilled we get to see it again. Shortly after the arrival we got a chance to see what she was wearing underneath. Mary has matched a pair of black trousers with a brand new black and white floral printed blouse! A first sight I was sure I had seen that print before, but when I found out where it is from I honestly have to say -that I would never have guessed. The main reason is because I've never heard of this brand before. Jennifer is the one to tell me about Mary's new ALTUZARRA blouse. She embrace the style by wearing a pair of black and white cap-toe pumps from Gianvito Rossi, seen on a previous occasion before this, here. Very chic! Other than the shoes she wore, once again, white pearl jewellery from Dulong Fine Jewellery. Some incredible pieces I differently hope to see (soon) again. Somehow, this outfit makes me in a great mood. So, tell me what do you like the most about this look? Anything specific or just the entire outfit?

Day of Research 2017

Monday, April 24th

As patron, Crown Princess Mary attended the official opening of Day of Research 2017. The Crown Princess also presented the Research Communication Prize 2017.

The Crown Princess arrived, in windy weather, to Experimentarium in Hellerup to attend the grand opening of Day of Research 2017. At the opening was also Minister of Education and Science Søren Pind, who also entered the stage later when the prize was handed over. Day of Research is a national science festival with more than 75,000 participants. It is also on this occasion the Crown Princess presented the Research Communication Prize 2017 to this year's winner Quantum physicist Jacob Sherson from Aarhus University. Along with the prize is given DKK 100,000. The prize is given to a researcher or research group who has made a special effort to communicate research to a wider public. Before the winner was announced Mary had a really great time, having fun with all kind of scientific experiments. As one activity she got the chance to try what it is to lift a 500 kg. electric car -and of course she did it! From what I see the Crown Princess had a wonderful day in Hellerup.

What to wear for a science festival? Well, what Mary did was: she matched one of her white silk blouses from Elise Gug with a reused A-line skirt. Simple as that. Although she wore anything as simple as a white blouse and a black (or maybe even dark purple?) skirt, Mary always manages to keep everything super stylish! As mentioned, we have seen her in this skirt before but I am still not sure where it is from. Since the first time, I have had Hugo Boss in mind which I'm pretty sure I've mentioned before. This has not brought me any closer to an answer. At the arrival she was wearing one of her favourite coats from JOSEPH seen on multiple occasions; everything from daytime events and evening events. Mary embraced the style with pearl jewellery made by Dulong Fine Jewelry and python pointy pumps. Yes, what you just read is correct -she in fact wore snakeskin pumps and lifted a 500 kg. car. These shoes we saw the first time on an new official photo of the royal family, here. At that time I had not idea where to find these new pumps. After having seen them a couple of times I was wondering if Gianvito Rossi was the designer I was looking for. Today that was confirmed when a readers shared a photo of them. Now I am no longer in doubt. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to track down the exact same model yet. Let me know if you find them. A clear winner with eye-catching accessories!

Visiting Svanevig Hospice

Thursday, April 20th

Crown Princess Mary visited Svanevig Hospice in Bandholm.

Earlier in the morning Crown Princess Mary payed a visit to the Home Guard Command in Vordingborg as well as the Home Guard Center Skovhuse, here. But one visit a day was just not enough, because around 3:00 pm. local time she arrived to Svanevig Hospice in Bandholm. Here she was warmly welcomed with huge smiles, handshakes and given a bouquet of flowers handed over by the most incredible flower girl. During her visit at the hospice, who cares for incurable ill and dying people, Mary was given a guided tour around the facilities with her personal guides -one of them was general manager Birgitte Bülow. She took plenty of time to meet with both staff members, volunteers and residents living at Svanevig. To me it looks like they were all having a really great time!

Now we are talking! Earlier in the morning when she visited the Home Guard Command, she was dressed in a green military uniform. Then when Mary visiting the hospice in Bandholm everything has changed. Now she was wearing a brand new dark red dress! At first I had no idea where to find her new dress, but with help from Kate the dress has been found at no other than Hugo Boss. A belt in the same colour was added to embrace a chic outfit. I wondered if the belt was a part of the dress and for sure it is! Now I can't wait to see it without the jacket. It was a windy day which may be the reason why she had chosen to wear that black jacket. I was pretty sure we had seen the black jacket on a previous occasion before this one. A reader suggested this one, here, from when she attended the presentation of last years Christmas Seal. And I guess it might even be the same as she wore during at visit to Troldehøj kindergarden in 2013, here. Other than the belt, she accessorized her outfit with a reused brooch, here, diamond earrings probably from Hartmann's, a couple of diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and of course that black pointed SAND Copenhagen pumps. What amaze me most about this outfit is how well the jacket embrace her slim figure in combination with the new dress featuring an A-line skirt.

Visiting the Home Guard Command

Thursday, April 20th

Crown Princess Mary visited the Home Guard Command in Vordingborg.

Dressed in a military uniform covered with her name, the Crown Princess visited the Home Guard Command and Home Guard Center Skovhuse in Vordingborg. At Skovhuse she was introduced to their historical collection and radar station as well.Mary has been active member of the Home Guard since 2008 and was last given, in 2015, the title of First Lieutenant. She was welcomed by, among others, General Major Finn Winkler whom she also met with on a Home Guard field exercise two years ago, here. During her visit at the command and Home Guard Center, the Crown Princess also met volunteer soldiers from the Home Guard. Several media report in what great mood Mary was at the visit in Vordingborg. While her fellow Home Guard-friends were telling stories she listened and seemed to enjoy herself. Before her visit was about to end, she found her way to the new domicile. In the afternoon the Crown Princess payed a visit to Svanevig Hospice.

Usually, I would continue the post commenting on what the Crown Princess was wearing at her visit, but this time the clothes almost speak for itself. She was suitable dressed in her camouflage green military uniform and black boots. On her head she wore the traditional green felt hat showing a golden emblem. Somehow, always worn obliquely. Unfortunately I haven't been able to figure out much about their uniforms (I'm willing to learn, if you know more), other than new uniforms were designed around 2015. And for sure rank also plays a role on which uniform and accessory are worn by the volunteer soldiers. Still, one piece I am able to identify and that is her Hartmann's earrings.

Congratulations Queen Margrethe!

Sunday, April 16th

Queen Margrethe celebrates her 77th birthday at Marselisborg castle near Aarhus along with her husband, two son's and their families.

First, I want to congratulate the Queen on behalf of her 77th birthday! On this occasion the royal family were gathered at Marselisborg castle in Aarhus to celebrate the Queen. The castle house Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik during summer time, which is now. Usually the park is closed when the royal couple are staying there but on occasion of Margrethe's birthday the castle park was open around 12:00 pm. The reason: the Danes got the chance to congratulate the Queen with her 77 year when the royal family, at noon, appeared on the veranda. The Crown Prince couple and their children such as Prince Joachim and his family, arrived shortly before stepping out on the veranda all together. Queen Margrethe was celebrated by the Danes with waving flags, music and signing. It was just a wonderful sight to see the family together. They all seemed to enjoy each others company; especially Princess Josephine and her cousin Princess Athena really had a great time! I am in no doubt that the Queen enjoy spending time with her family on her birthday.

This is just great! Am I the only one thrilled about that fact that we get to see Mary wear that Prada tweed coat again? We have seen it on a couple of occasions before the birthday celebration at Marselisborg castle, here, here, here. Mary has a matching dress in same colour and fabric which is a combination we are use to see but this time she only wore the coat. When the family arrive we got a glimpse of what the Crown Princess was wearing celebrating her mother-in-low on her birthday. She paired black trousers with, what I believe is a reused, purple blouse worn when she visited Moldova, here, and attending Copenhagen Business School Case Competition 2017 back in February, here. Though this is not the first time she is wearing the blouse, I still do not know where to find it. Embracing the style Mary wore two-tone Prada pumps, also seen before as well as her brown Ralph Lauren bag. Seems like the purple colour was quite popular because Princess Marie wore a coat featuring the lovely colour. Makeup and hairstyle were perfect as always for the two royal women.

Mary also accessorized her outfit by wearing Hartmann's earrings, the golden Cartier bracelet and a couple of diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Another thing I am sure you all noticed (of course you did!) is the fact that the Crown Princess was wearing nail polish and a really pretty one. Usually we see her wear shades of red but this time she had chosen a brownish colour. I'm thrilled. I'm a happy royalist!

The loss of a dear family member

On Sunday the Crown Prince family lost a beloved family member; their dog Ziggy. Yes, this is truly sad news. Ziggy has been a part of the family since 2005 and was a wedding gift from the Danish Kennel Club, who wanted to give them a puppy on occasion of the couple getting married. The Crown Prince couple chose a Border Collie puppy as their new family pet. They fell in love with a brown and white Border Collie called Jezabel, which was later named Ziggy by Mary herself. She was born on January 13th 2005 and passed away on April 9th 2016. The royal family indicate that Ziggy was suffering from chronic renal failure and osteoarthritis. Do doubt that Ziggy was a big part of the family's everyday life; she even appeared on many official photos, here, here, here, here, and accompanied Mary on a job back in 2015, here. Rest in peace dear Ziggy.

Visiting Bangladesh

April, 5-6th

Crown Princess Mary is visiting Bangladesh along with Minister of Development Ulla Tørnæs from 5-6th of April. The visit focuses on strengthening women's economic opportunities as part of the UN world goal number five on equality.

Crown Princess Mary visiting Farmer Field School in Dhaka

I came as a total surprise to me when pictures of the Crown Princess in Bangladesh started showing up on my computer screen. Haven't heard a thing about this trip. Well, I wondered why she had no events coming up in April, but some months are quieter than others. What I have been able to find out, then Mary arrived to the capital Dhaka in Bangladesh on Wednesday April 5th left the country the following day. But I am not quite sure about the schedule. It is rather unusual that we don't hear about these official visits but it could be a matter of her safety. This is Mary's first visit to Bangladesh and she travelled along with Minister of Development Ulla Tørnæs and a Danish business delegation. The visit focuses on strengthening women's economic opportunities. As first thing in the morning she visited the project Farmer Field School in Moddhu Rakudia. The project aims to improve women's knowledge of the agricultural technician. The Crown Princess also visited the village Panbari which has been severely affected by floods, storms and high water levels due to climate changes. As both visits there were plenty of time for her to meet the locals which happily told Mary their stories.

During her first day in Moddhu Rakudia and Panbari she wore a comfortable outfit; a white button down shirt, beige trousers and matching slip-ons. Sunglasses protected her eyes while her hair were place on top of her head, keeping everything under control during the midday sun.

Crown Princess Mary meeting with Jaago Foundation and Auko-Tex Group in Dhaka

As part of the Crown Princess' first day in Bangladesh, she also met with a few schools supported by the Jaago Foundation. It has been a true pleasure to watch pictures and a video's from her visits. From the second she arrived every one of the children tried to get her attention -and they did. Every minute she spend along with the school's children. Earlier in the morning Mary also payed a visit to the capital slum. Everywhere she went, Mary was pleasantly greeted by the people met. Many of them were happily surprised to see a real princess for the first time in their life, although a little disappointed that she was not wearing a crown and a gown. In the afternoon the Crown Princess and Minister of Development Ulla Tørnæs visited a clothing factory Auko-Tex in Ghazipur. They were also accompanied by the Danish Ambassador in Bangladesh Mikael H. Winther.

Spending her last couple of hours in, among others, Ghazipur she had changed to a bit more colourful outfit. Mary paired a powder pink blouse with a pair of brown dress pants, accessorized with matching ballet flats.

Crown Princess Mary attending a reception

We haven't got that many pictures nor information's about her whereabouts during the stay in Bangladesh, nor do we from the Crown Princess' last reception before leaving Dhaka. At the evening reception on Thursday several locals, women, contractors etc. were specially invited to attend the reception. This gave Mary yet another opportunity to hear about challenges, projects, stories told by the locals and experience with what climate changes can cause of problems and maybe even how to turn it into something positive.

As many of the other attending women Mary were dressed in a colourful printed dress at the reception. She embraced the style with loose wavy hair and natural makeup.

The confirmation of Prince Felix

Saturday, April 1st

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended the confirmation of Prince Felix, son of Prince Joachim and Countess Alexandra.

A big day for a young man, age 15. On Saturday April 1st Prince Felix celebrated his confirmation taking place in Fredensborg castle church. In this beautiful church, among others, Queen Margrethe, her sisters, Crown Prince Frederik and Prince Joachim are also confirmed. Close family members were all gathered to celebrate the day with him: his mother Countess Alexandra, father Prince Joachim, stepmother, his brothers and sister and grandparents. After having spend a couple of days along with King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium, which by the way left Copenhagen on March 30th, the Crown Prince couple and their four children also attended the confirmation of Prince Felix. Just wonderful to see them all together. My greatest wished to the Prince on his big day!

I must say every single one of them were beautiful dressed; women as men, boys as girls. The Queen wore blue, Marie was in dusty pink, Prince Nikolai in a great grey suit, Countess Alexandra wore dusty lilic and Mary was dressed in classy reused outfit. She embrace the style by wearing her custom made YDE Copenhagen dress paired with beige Christian Louboutin pumps, a new raffia clutch bag and same coloured leather gloves. Especially that new clutch caught my interest. Though I have tried to identify it, I never found anything like this one. Any ideas? My suggestions are either L.K. Bennett or Anya Hindmarch. What's on your mind? The same or someone else. As mentioned before every piece, except from the little clutch bag, are reused such as the dress. This YDE Copenhagen creation have been seen at a few previous occasions before Prince Felix's confirmation on Saturday, herehere, here, here, here, here. Seems like she just loved this (so do we!) matched with some kind of white coat, as she did at the confirmation with that white Prada coat. The aquamarine blue earrings and hair accessory matched perfectly to the rest of her outfit. End of April I'm going to my cousin's confirmation and for sure Mary's outfit are going to be my source of inspiration. Do you feel inspired?

Crown Prince Frederik & Crown Princess Mary attending the after party

As when his big brother Prince Nikolai got confirmed a couple of year's ago, Prince Felix's guests were invited to an after party lasting all night. Frederik and Mary also attended the party celebrating their nephew on his big day. The couple arrived hand in hand with a large smile on their face. I'm sure they both looked forward to enjoy the evening together. The Crown Prince was dressed in a chic checkered grey suit, while his lovely wife wore a black suit. It is the second time we get to see her in this edgy outfit. The first time we saw her in it was when she attended the world premiere of Jaha's Promise on March 16th, here. But this time she wore it with another lace blouse and matching (new) red suede pumps. Trying to ID these new pumps, which I simply adore, I stumbled across two different models -one from Gianvito Rossi and another from Jimmy Choo. Due to the shape, colour and the fact that Mary loves Rossi's creations -they are the ones I believe in. She embrace the style by wearing her black Carlend Copenhagen clutch and a pair of ball earrings. One great look!

Crown Prince Frederik & Crown Princess Mary along with King Philippe & Queen Mathilde

A long and busy second day in Denmark for King Philippe and Queen Mathilde began around 9:00 am local time. The King of Belgium spend most of his day accompanied by Crown Prince Frederik. They visited among others Copenhagen City Hall, Danish Industry and later they had lunch with representatives from High-Level. Meanwhile Queen Mathilde spend her day along with Crown Princess Mary. Their day began with a short meeting at Amalienborg where Mary told her a little about the Mary Foundation and some of their projects. Later that same day the two royal women visited Amager Fælled School because of their commitment to the Free of Bullying program developed by the Mary Foundation. Around 3:00 pm. all four royal members of each their family, teamed up and visited Cinemateket. From what I see, I believe all of them had a wonderful day in each others company.

Both Mary and Queen Mathilde wore the most lovely outfits, in simple and matching colours. Mathilde was dressed in a dusty pink dress with matching accessories. A really beautiful colour next to her blonde hair. Mary on the other hand, had chosen a maroon 'suit' with colour-matching accessories. She mixed new and old pieces. The jacket is one we have seen before, as you may remember it comes with a pencil skirt. I have been told it is from SAND Copenhagen but when I requested them I never heard from them. So it is still a possibility. On this occasion she wore the jacket with a brand new crepe pleated skirt and suede pumps from Gianvito Rossi. As the skirt, the paisley scarf is new. Unfortunately, I have not been able to identify it. Any ideas? Mary also accessorized her outfit by wearing a grey Susanne Juul hat, a Naledi Copenhagen clutch and dark pearl jewellery from Dulong Fine Jewelry. Oh... and of course there are also the Hartmann's diamond earrings and golden Cartier bracelet. I am completely in love with what I see! The colours are a great match and everything works so well. Don't you think? Am I the only one who think about the 50s classy outfits?!

Crown Prince Frederik & Crown Princess Mary at return dinner at the Black Diamond

Dinner time! The time is almost up for the King and Queen of Belgium to leave Denmark. Two days pass by so quickly, don't you think? Tuesday was just great with the tour around in Copenhagen harbor and in the evening Queen Margrethe hosted that amazing gala dinner at Christiansborg castle. Wednesday was even better. King Philippe spend most his day with Crown Prince Frederik and Queen Mathilde her day accompanied by Crown Princess Mary. Then in the evening it was time for the Philippe and Mathilde to host a return dinner on occasion of their visit in Denmark. Kinda their way to say 'thanks for a great visit'. Both Queen Margrethe, the Crown Prince couple, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie attended the return dinner with, by the way, took place at the Black Diamond in Copenhagen.

These state visits also means we get to see several beautiful evening outfits, both for women and men. The Crown Princess was really 'dressed to impress' at the return dinner with King Philippe and Queen Mathilde as hosts. Pictures appeared shortly after the Crown Prince couple arrived right after Prince Joachim and Princess Marie, and just before Queen Margrethe. Frederik was dressed in a classy black suit, a white shirt and black butterfly. Mary dazzled wearing a new kerosene coloured floor-length evening gown featuring a small train. I learned that her new dress is from Jesper Høvring (Jesper Høvring x Great Greenland AW16) from Heaven. So, we got two very different Høvring-dresses in only two day. At the gala dinner on Tuesday a wonderful golden gown and at the return dinner this slim model featuring some incredible details around the neck! She embrace the style by wearing golden shoes from Manolo Blahnik as well as a golden Cartier bracelet. I was amazed (and happy) to see that stone embellished Prada clutch. We have seen it a quite some years ago at a wedding in Monaco back in 2010, here. One great accessory. With wavy hair and glamorous makeup Mary looked like a movie star.

As I mentioned before, three other royal women also attended the dinner at the Black Diamond in Copenhagen: Queen Mathilde, Queen Margrethe and Princess Marie. Mathilde stunned in a red floor-length gown featuring sheer sleeves and an asymmetric neckline.
