Just four days ago the Crown Princess attended several different events in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil along with her husband on occasion of the Olympic Games 2016. Before leaving on August 6th, just in time to bring her two oldest children to school after their summer vacation on Monday, she watched a water polo game, a basketball game and closely followed the Danish swimming athletes fighting to get one of the coveted medals. She is now back home and Copenhagen Fashion Week 2016 is started.

The Crown Princess is patron of Designers' Nest, which is why she attended the show and presentation of the Designers' Nest Award 2016 taking place at Børsen in Copenhagen. Around noon she arrived to Børsen in a great mood. She was warmly welcomed by the sweetest flower girl, who handed over a bouquet of flowers created by Det Sorte Træ, here. The bouquet perfectly matched her new mustard coat. I often wonder how it is possible that her bouquets always match in colour to what she is wearing at the event? Is is planned ahead? Well, the flower girls was not the only one thrilled about meeting the Crown Princess. Herehere and here you see some of those who got a chance to be photographed with the Crown Princess.

Following, she watched the show of the Danish brand Fonnesbech from first raw. It was with great interest the Crown Princess noticed everything shown on the catwalk.

Though I am very interested in fashion and especially sustainable fashion, I am not hysterical about Copenhagen Fashion Week nor Designers' Nest. I followed the two events with great interest and fascination. Also with a sense of inspiration. It is always inspiring to see what the designers have created and what's the next trend - at least according to the designers. With Mary as patron makes it even better. Especially the media is very much interested in Mary when attending these events. It makes a good story with a Crown Princess, who are working for a more sustainable world and what to gain from sustainable solutions.

So what to wear on an occasion like this? She keeps surprising me, though I have been following her for more than ten years. I lost my breath when she stepped out of that car. Mary was dressed in her white Julie Fagerholt Heartmade dress featuring gold details. It is the dress from her interview in Eurowomen from April, hereAbsolutely amazing to see the dress again. Overwhelmed by the dress, I was completely surprised by the new coat - a long, mustard coat. Never really thought we would ever see Mary wear anything like this. Also despite she has a couple of similar coats. While trying to identified her new coat; Kate and I came across the coat at Fonnesbech (Collection: AW16). Very appropriate at a Fonnesbech show. She style her clothes with a pair of Sergio Rossi t-strap pumps and a Carlend Copenhagen clutch. A completely fabulous combo. She included only golden earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry, a ring from same designer and a couple of tiny golden bracelets. Absolutely stunning.

Day 6. Olympics in Rio de Janeiro

Saturday, August 6th

Crown Prince Frederik is present at the Olympics 2016 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, as member of the International Olympic Committee. The Crown Prince is accompanied by Crown Princess Mary. Also Prince Joachim and Princess Marie are present.

The games are now started and participants from everywhere in the world, of almost any possible nationalities are competing to bring one of the three coveted medals back home. The best of luck to everyone. I'm not the only one cheering for the Danish athletes. Also the Crown Prince couple had found their seats, ready to cheer for their favourite athletes; first at Maria Lenk Aquatics Centre to watch water polo, then a 1:00 pm. the royal couple watched swimming at Olympic Aquatics Stadium (they even arrived before the race) followed by a basketball game. Both the Crown Prince and Crown Princess were in an excellent mood, enjoying the games taking place in Rio.

Around afternoon it was time for the Crown Princess to leave summery Brazil and go back to windy Denmark, while her husband stayed in Rio. I'm sure she would have liked to stayed a couple more days, though I think she looked forward to be reunited with her children right in time before Prince Christian and Princess Isabella are going to school again after seven weeks of vacation.

We have seen blurry and lots of bad quality pictures from the first five days the royal couple have been in Rio, but from the sixth and last day I have only been able to find only a single picture of the couple attending swimming at Olympic Aquatics Stadium. And it only shows her upper body. Fortunately one of you were able to find two more pictures actually showing what Mary was wearing. Cheering up the Danish athletes Mary was wearing her navy blue polo shirt from Vero Moda, a pair of white shorts and her By Malene Birger sneakers. With Prada sunglasses and pink diamond earrings from Hartmann's she enjoyed her last day all casual dressed. Keywords? Chic and sporty.

Day 5. Olympics in Rio de Janeiro

Friday, August 5th

Since July 31st Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary have been in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, along with Prince Joachim and Princess Marie. They have been present at different events on occasion of the Olympics 2016.

Crown Prince Frederik & Crown Princess Mary met Danish and Australian athletes

Only a few hours and the official opening ceremony will begin at Estadio Maracaná in Rio de Janeiro. Meanwhile the Crown Prince couple visited the Olympic Village. Here they meet both Danish and Australian athletes who expressed what an great honor it had been to meet the Crown Prince couple. The couple were also given a tour around the athletes apartments during the two and a half hour they spend in the Olympic Village. From the pictures I have seen, mostly taken by athletes who meet the couple (here, here, here, here), I think they really enjoyed each others company. I love how down to earth they both are; simply enjoying themselves in Rio. The Olympics is something they both love and I believe it brings back lots of wonderful memories. Of course from the time they met each other, but also from 2012 when Prince Christian and Princess Isabella accompanied them in London. They are an active family who enjoy all sorts of sports activities everything from football, handball, running, horse riding, golf, tennis and swimming. They also joined some of the athletes for a bike ride.

Like 80 or 90 % of all the athletes the couple met during their visit to the Olympic Village in Rio de Janeiro, the royal couple were wearing a t-shirt and shorts such as sneakers. The perfect outfit that's both sporty, casual, comfortable and chic at the same time. I think I've mentioned this once or twice before, but the clothes worn by the Danish athletes (and four royal family members) are designed by Bestseller in collaboration with athletes - sold at Jack & Jones and Vero Moda. The collection includes more than 100 styles for men and women. In the Olympic Village both Frederik and Mary wore shirts from this unique collection; Mary the same blouse as seen on Princess Marie one of the first days after her and Prince Joachim arrived to Brazil along with Prince Nikolai, Prince Felix, Prince Henrik and Princess Athena, here. Unfortunately is the t-shirt no longer available online but I found the same model just for men. Seems like the styles are incredible popular and sold out quickly.

Again she was wearing a pair of navy blue Nike shorts and matching new white sneakers from the same designer. Mary accessorized her casual look with Hartmann's earrings, a golden Orit Elhanati necklace such as bracelets from among others Dulong Fine Jewelry and Cartier. To keep her eyes protected from the warm Brazilian sun, she wore a pair of Prada sunglasses. I love how her makeup was all natural and a simple ponytail as hairstyle.

Crown Prince Frederik & Crown Princess Mary at the grand opening ceremony

Finally time is up and the Olympics 2016 in Rio de Janeiro is now officially started. The four hours long opening ceremony took place at Estadio Maracaná, Rio de Janeiro at pm. 7:15 local time which means for those of you who followed the opening living in Denmark or close by, didn't get much sleep because the time difference is about five hours. I have to admit I didn't wait up till midnight to watch the four hours show, but what I've seen is extraordinary and truly impressive. Rhythmic music, thousands of happy people, colorful costumes and lots of glittering fireworks in the end. Spectacular.

All of this and much, much more was what entertained the Crown Prince couple, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie, here. Both couple's were immortalized the moment by taken pictures and maybe a video or two. I'm sure they gave four very excited children at home, who can't wait to see these pictures.

Mary wasn't as colourful as the dancers and musicians entertaining during the opening ceremony, but I still adore her outfit. We saw a dress we haven't seen more than once several years ago. I always wondered why she hasn't worn it again because it was worn at a more or less private occasion back then. I see, with everything in her closet we have to wait maybe a year or so till we see it again, but now we have waited since 2012, when the couple arrived to Monaco to attend the wedding of Prince Albert II of Monaco and Charlene Wittstock, here. This lovely white crochet dress is from Ralph Lauren (Collection: Spring 2011) also seen on international model Claudia Schiffer, here.

As easy as it was to identify what dress she was wearing, as difficult has it been to find out about the navy blue blazer. Because it looks like she could be wearing her old Zara blazer. I'm confused because on the right side of her chest you see the logo, here, of the Danish Olympic wardrobe designed by Bestseller and a couple of Danish athletes attending the Olympics in Rio. Heaven suggested that the logo has been added to her Zara blazer. It's clear to me that Mary's blazer is not exactly the same as the athletes wore during the ceremony, here. Take a look and tell me what you think. After all, she styled her outfit with Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings, a bracelet from the same designer, one from Cartier and her stunning brown leather bag from Ralph Lauren.

Day 4. Olympics in Rio de Janeiro

Thursday, August 4th

As member of the International Olympics Committee Crown Prince Frederik is present at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is accompanied by Crown Princess Mary, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie.

Crown Princess Mary met participants from the Danish riding team

Although sports isn't in my biggest interest, it makes me so proud to know that a small country like Denmark is represented at the Olympics in Brazil. We have teams participating in everything from handball to cycling races and dressage. Yesterday, the Crown Princess met with participants from the Danish swimming team during a trainings session. I have had the opportunity to see the Crown Princess once, when she and the Crown Prince visited the city where I live back in 2007/2008 and it was such an great experience though I never got the chance to greet her. It was a very unrealistic feeling, so I truly understand if it was a huge honor for the participants to meet her and the Crown Prince. They are described as down on earth and sincere.

Before the grand opening ceremony it was time for the Crown Princess to pay the Danish riding team a visit. And from what I see, I think it was one of the best visits for the Crown Princess who, more than once, has told that she loves spending time with her horse, herehere. Something she enjoyed doing along with her children during their vacation at Gråsten castle about half a month ago.

This has to be one of my absolute favourite moments for a very long time. With a messy knot located all random on top of her head and a pair of washed denim short, Mary made me fell in love with her all over again. Down on earth, relaxed and casual dressed. These moments I love more than anything else. The only thing that reminded me where she was, is the special designed Vero Moda jacket featuring the iconic Olympic flame above "Rio 2016" font. She wore a new blue and white striped blouse from Vero Moda as well. She styled the blouse and jacket with a pair of denim shorts. I think she could be wearing sneakers. Sneakers would be a great match to that sporty outfit worn on the 4th day in Brazil.

Again, Mary embraced the style by wearing a golden Orit Elhanati necklace and her Cartier bracelet. And the pink diamond earrings from Hartmann's not to forget which, by the way, could be the same she wore yesterday when visiting the Danish swimming team. Simple and elegant, yet casual. Not much more to say only that I think this outfit would do perfectly for a day off - going for a long walk, taking the kids to the playground or meeting friends for a lunch.

Crown Prince Frederik & Crown Princess Mary attending dinner

After a long break, the Crown Prince couple were ready to attend the IOC President's dinner that took place at Windsor convention centre in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Both the Crown Prince and Crown Princess arrived to the Windsor convention centre in an excellent mood. They were one big smile at the arrival. They we warmly welcomed by the International Olympic Committee's President, Thomas Back and his lovely wife Claudia Bach. They welcomed the Danish royal couple on the red carpet.

It all began at 7:00 pm. local time. Because of the time different pictures weren't published till next day. Of all the articles I've been able to find, I believe it was a spectacular evening with more than two royal guests attending. Also Prince Albert II of Monaco, Kind Wilhelm-Alexander of the Netherlands shook hands with the IOC President and wife when welcomed. Guests with all nationalities attended the dinner - and not all of royal blod.

Unbelievably how much a dress and a pair of pumps can do. I still love everything about Mary's look from earlier the same day and it didn't change when I saw her wearing one of her old goodies from Hugo Boss. Despite the dress isn't new (quite old actually) I can't get enough of it. True, I would never have picked the dress myself but that is what I adore about Mary because she makes even the wiriest dress look gorgeous. Right? With it's almost cosmically pattern and turtleneck Mary rocked a dazzling evening outfit. Think it is the third or fourth time she reuses the dress. Maybe you can help me find out when? - I remember sometime on a visit to the United States, at some point when she attended the presentation of a portrait made of newspapers and at a dinner along with her husband taking place in Copenhagen a couple of years ago.

As previously she accessorized it with a pair of diamond earrings featuring a coral pendant custom-made by Dulong Fine Jewelry. Both Gianvito Rossi pumps, the Bottega Veneta clutch and golden Cartier bracelet have been seen during her days in Rio de Janeiro. Great way to show off how to wear accessories over and over again. Adore it. If you find her dress available somewhere I would really like to hear from you (pre-owned or new), so I'd be able to share the link with everybody else. Thanks. What else do I see? - a few other bracelets and a black lace shawl.

Day 3. Olympics in Rio de Janeiro

Wednesday, August 3rd

The Crown Prince couple are present at different event at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The royal couple is accompanied by Prince Joachim and Princess Marie, who brought all four children. Crown Prince Frederik attends because he is member of IOC - the International Olympics Committee.

Crown Princess Mary at the presentation of LEGO boxes

Only two days away from the official opening ceremony of the Olympics and the Crown Princess joined the presentation of 5,000 LEGO boxes, which were given to 300 different Brazilian schools that are a part of EDI - Institute for Child Development in the Jacarepague shantytown. Of course she didn't hand over all five thousand boxes herself, but some lucky children got the chance to meet the Crown Princess and get a LEGO box.

The Crown Princess was warmly welcome at the arrival and given a beautiful bouquet of flowers. I think it is sincere joy looking at the pictures, when she hand over the toy boxes to some of the youngest pupils. The smile on their faces is precious. She also listened to speeches and watched a concert with the Danish Radio Girls Choir, who is in Brazil along with a delegation of several Danish companies etc., to promote Denmark and Danish values. To me the best part of her visit was when she took time talking and playing with the children, who really enjoyed her company. She was one big smile.

One of her old goodies. A white dream she purchased in Australia couple of years ago when she was ''home'' on an official visit along with her husband. Since then we have seen her in the WILLOW dress a couple of times, here, here. At first I was sure she was wearing one of her white Hugo Boss dresses but now there is no doubt in my mind, when I tell you it's from WILLOW. Especially because of the characteristic white leather belt wrapping her around her waist. Thrilled to see it again, but what makes me even more excited, is the fact that we get to see such a fine and sophisticated dress worn with a pair of ballet flats. Which by the why are new and because of Heaven I know they are from Prada. If you manage to find a close up of her flats, notice the sweet detail on the white cap toe -a bow and fine stitches. The most elegant way, she styled her outfit with golden jewellery from Dulong Fine Jewelry, Cartier and a magnificent Orit Elhanati necklace. I can't ask for more: an incredible dress perfectly accessorized with classy accessories. Think the reason why I really like this outfit is because she showed us how to dress both sophisticated and elegant and at the same time casual.

Crown Princess Mary met the Danish swimming team

Between her two planned visits in Jacarepague shantytown, where she presented some of the 5,000 LEGO boxes and a gala dinner on board on the Training Ship Denmark in the evening. Suddenly pictures appeared everywhere of the Crown Princess visiting the Danish swimming team during one of their training session before the Olympics. Everything I read, is that everyone was so excited and grateful to met the Crown Princess in Brazil. Danish swimmer Lotte Friis (the woman you see above, next to the Crown Princess) is just one of many from the Danish swimming team who have shared picture of the Crown Princess. To me she seemed in a really good mood; smiling and laughing all the time. I think is was a great honor for the team members to met her and glad she took time to visit them. The Danish royal family also shared a photo on Instagram after the training session, here. All relaxed, it looks like she really enjoyed meeting the athletes.

Nothing fancy about Mary when she met the Danish swimming team during their training session. Completely relaxed and casual dress in a polo shirt, knee length shorts and a pair of sneakers. That's what I think is so great about Mary. No matter what she is wearing, she makes her very best appearance. We have already seen Prince Joachim and Princess Marie wearing clothes from the Danish label Vero Moda - they designed the clothes the Danish athletes wear during the Olympics, and now Mary has to. A dark polo shirt. I haven't been able to find the exact model of her navy blue short, but I see they are from Nike. I think I see a bracelet and a pair of earrings but I can't tell you anything more than that. She accessorized the outfit with her black By Malene Birger sneakers.

The Crown Prince couple, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie attending gala dinner

Around dinner time the Crown Prince couple, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie were invited to attend gala dinner on board the Training Ship Denmark on occasion of the ships arrival to Brazil. Prince Nikolai and his younger brother Prince Felix also attend the dinner. Along with their father and stepmother, the two boys arrived on board the Training Ship Denmark shortly before the Crown Prince couple was sailed out to the ship, which was docked close to the harbor.

Once again the family was gathered, ready for an outstanding evening in each others company. Imagine what an experience it must have been for both Prince Nikolai and Prince Felix. As patron of the Training Ship Denmark Prince Joachim expressed how proud he was to see the ship in the heart of Brazil at this very moment. So why is a Danish ship in Rio de Janeiro? - of course to promote the Danish maritime industry and the Danish-Brazilian cooperation on education. According to Billed Bladet 40 Danish and 40 Brazilian students are trained to become ship's assistants during the Olympics.

Dinner time. This means we had to wait till around midnight before the dinner was actually taking place because of the time difference. Despite we were forced to wait I wasn't disappointed by what I saw - Mary in a brand new colourful maxi skirt. Etro's exotic and playful design. It was identified by Heaven and Kate. Looks like she is almost flying above ground wearing this skirt. Love the way she matched the colourful maxi skirt with a plain white blouse. Accessorized with her silver lurex cardigan from Ann Taylor making it the perfect evening outfit for a Brazilian dinner on board a ship surround by shiny water, mountains and elegant dressed guests. Like the previous days Mary had chosen several bracelets from among others Orit ElhanatiDulong Fine Jewelry and Cartier such as a pair of new earrings. These are still not yet identified. The maxi skirt is the reason why I think Mary looked a little more casual than Marie in her dreamy white mid-length dress. Two beautiful dressed women on their way to attend dinner accompanied by handsome husbands and stepsons. More pictures gave me a chance to identified her shoes as her beige peep toe wedges from Tod's. Still, I do not know anything about the new clutch. Looks pretty and perfectly matched everything else, but I can't identify it.

We are now only a few days away from the official opening ceremony of the Olympics 2016 taking place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on August 5th. Represented from the Danish royal family is the Crown Princess as member of the International Olympic Committee, Crown Princess Mary, Prince Joachim and his wife Princess Marie. They arrived a couple of days before the Crown Prince couple. Yesterday all of them were gathered to attend the official opening of the 300 m2 Danish Pavilion located at Ipanema beach. They had the most incredible view across the sea.

The pavilion is named 'Heart of Denmark', it is designed by Henning Larsen Architects and will be used to promote Danish businesses, sports and culture. A great way of sharing knowledge about Denmark in a different way - an opportunity we can't miss, when people from all over the globe are gathered in Brazil.

The weather was perfect, about 29 degrees and yet windy. Prince Joachim, Princess Marie and all four children arrived shortly before the Crown Prince couple did at the reception. Of course you have already seen all the wonderful picture of the Crown Prince hugging little Prince Henrik at the arrival,. So adorable. It was clear how much they all enjoyed spending the day together. Smiling and laughing all the time.

That moment when we get to see the first pictures of Mary, not matter where she is, is precious and so exciting. Right? She rarely disappoint me. Nor did she this time, showing up at yesterdays event at the Danish Pavilion. Mary was dressed in a brand new white blouse and denim blue skirt. It caused me and most other royal bloggers lots of trouble trying to identify, who designed both new pieces. A million different designers crossed my mind. Non of them was the one we were looking for. Somehow Heaven managed to find the new skirt Mary was wearing. It was found at A.P.C. A designer we haven't seen Mary wear before. At least not what I'm aware of. I really like the skirt. It looks both chic and comfortable at the same time. Styled with that ruffle sleeved blouse, identified as Athé by Vanessa Bruno by Jennifer, this is the perfect summer outfit. Especially styled with striped red/white Christian Louboutin wedges. These was worn back in 2012 for the first time during the Olympics in London, hereMaybe her way of showing support to the Danish athletes?

Actually it is a rather simple outfit accessorized with lots of jewellery from both Orit ElhanatiDulong Fine Jewelry and Cartier. Wonderful outfit. With a pair of ballet flats it would be stunning for work, a casual birthday party or an evening with some good friends. I almost forgot to mention her new clutch. So far, I haven't been able to find anything that looks like it. A very interesting piece. I would love to hear your ideas.

Day 1. Olympics in Rio de Janeiro

Monday, August 1st
Along with Prince Joachim and Princess Marie, the Crown Prince couple are present at different events at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Time is finally here. What we all have been waiting for - the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The official opening ceremony is taking place on Friday, August 5th. Representatives from the Danish royal family are also attending the official opening.

A couple of days before the Crown Prince couple arrived to Rio de Janeiro, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie arrived along with Prince Nicolai, Prince Felix, Prince Henrik and Princess Athena. They arrived to attend both a 125th anniversary and a 70th birthday. The family spend a little time on their own, enjoying Brazil. They visited the beautiful Iguaçu Falls on the border between Brazil and Argentina, here. Both Prince Joachim and Princess Marie will attend several other events during their attendance in Brazil, among others a gala dinner onboard the training ship 'Danmark' and a concert with Danish Radio Girls' Choir. They will also attend events along with the Crown Prince couple, who by the way, arrived on July 31st and attended their first event the following day.

As member of IOC -the International Olympic Committee, the Crown Prince attended the opening ceremony of the '129th IOC session'. It took at Cidade Das Artes prior to the official opening ceremony of the Olympics on Friday. He attended accompanied by his wife. Seems like it was a really good evening. Several photos of the couple have been published here and here. They just make such a great couple - the Crown Prince and his wife.

Thrilled to see her in that dress again. I clearly remember the first time she wore it and almost everybody hated it because of the floral print, which is why I can't get enough of this dress. The dusty colours and lovely floral print is simply outstanding. Do you remember her wearing it before? - it was last year, when she attended an anniversary celebration in Copenhagen along with Queen Margrethe, the Crown Prince, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie, here. Love to see her in this Burberry Prorsum (Collection: AW 2014-2015) dress again. You still do not like it?

I adored how she styled the dress last time with her Valentino sandals. This time she accessorized it with a pair of pink patent leather pumps from Gianvito Rossi. As the dress, I can't get enough of Rossi's designs. Perfectly matching the rest of her outfit she wore a knot clutch from Bottega Veneta and a pair of brand new earrings. I still haven't been able to identify them, but I'm working on it. As always you are more than welcome to share your thoughts about possible designer with me. So far, I have excluded that they are not from Jewlscph by request. My second though was the Danish jewellery designer Annikat, but I can't seem to find the right model. Then the style was embraced by a golden Orit Elhanati necklace, a Dulong Fine Jewelry bracelet, two diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen, a beaded bracelets from Anni Lu and yet another I believe is her Charlotte Wæhrens creation. I don't think this is the only great outfit we are going to see during their trip to Rio.
