Happy 19th anniversary!

Today, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary celebrate their 19th wedding anniversary! Imagine it being 19 years since this wonderful couple got married. Can't believe it.

This year, they share their wedding anniversary with Mother's Day. Crown Prince Frederik made a special post on social media congratulating his wife and the mother of his children.

"My wife and I celebrate our wedding anniversary today. A very special day for the both of us. One we both like to celebrate - also with our four children. This year, it is also Mother's Day. Therefore, a special greeting to you, Mary, as wife and mother. I also want to wish every mother around the country a happy Mother's Day"

- Crown Prince Frederik

Mary looked beautiful next to sweet little Princess Josephine. When enjoying ice cream with her family (probably during summer time), Mary looked stunning in her white Style Butler blouse and jewellery from Dulong Fine Jewelry, Orit Elhanati and Anni Lu. This combo makes me believe that the photo is a few years old from one of their vacations. The sunglasses? They are masterpieces from Dolce & Gabbana.

Day 2. A visit to Bangladesh

26 April

Crown Princess Mary has traveled to Bangladesh. The visit focuses on nature-based solutions and biodiversity. The Crown Princess is accompanied by the Danish Minister of Development, Flemming Møller Mortensen.

On their second day in Bangladesh, the two of them travelled south to the Cox's Bazar district. It was once a national park, but now it works as a "shelter" for around 900,000 Rohingya-refugees. This has created a massive pressure on already small natural resources. The Cox's Bazar district is also often hit by among others floods and monsoons. These climate changes increases the importance of more sustainable sultions for both man and nature.

Mary had chosen a relaxed and comfortable outfit on her second day in Bangladesh, when visiting the Cox's Bazar district. She matched a blue button-down blouse with light brown trousers. It is indeed likely that we have seen both blouse and trousers before, but at the moment, I cannot tell when or where.

She protected her eyes with a lovely new hat from Deborah Hutton and sunglasses from Ray Ban. I learned about the hat from UFO No More (here). It is also from UFO No More, I know about the new Arc'teryx boots.

The fine golden necklace is an Orit Elhanati. Her smart hairband is from Kknekki. A closer look revealed that she was also wearing two bracelets from Anni Lu and Dulong Fine Jewelry.

Day 1. A visit to Bangladesh

25 April

ARRIVAL

Crown Princess Mary's visit to Bangladesh, was only announced the day before. The visit will last for three days. She arrived on April 25th to Dhaka in the morning and was warmly welcomed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs in Bangladesh (here, here).

The Crown Princess is visiting Bangladesh representing Denmark in supporting a corporation between the two countries and their work on solving issues in connection to climate changes. Especially renewable energy is on the agenda.

Arriving to Dhaka, Mary wore a lovely travel outfit. I have only been on a plane once, but traveling for many hours take the right outfit. Think Mary found it. She was wearing an old linen blazer with a pair of  trousers. The new brown Naledi Copenhagen bag was a great addition to the rest of the look. Heaven identified the bag. She also wore a lovely green scarf.

DURING THE DAY

Her official program started with a welcoming ceremony at Bangledesh's Primeminister Sheikh Hasina. The Crown Princess was accompanied by the Danish Minister of Development Flemming Møller Mortensen. He is also part of the "delegation" for the rest of the three-day visit.

Flemming Møller Mortensen also played a significant role already on the first day because he was the one to sign a so-called "green agreement". The same did Bangladesh's Foreign Minister H.E. A.K. Abdul Momen. It was a big day and Crown Princess Mary witness it all.

When she had lunch as the Danish Embassy in Dhaka, she met with other representative from several Danish companies. They shared their experiences and their work in Bangladesh with, among others, green and sustainable solutions in the climate field.

Mary looked absolutely lovely and really beautiful on her first day in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Heaven managed to identify her stunning blue printed dress as Beulah London. A designer she has become fund of the last couple of years. This is particularly delicate. Like a dreamy cake.

She matched her brand new dress with just as delicate and elegant accessories. The golden earrings featuring rather large white pearls have followed her for maaaany years. They are created by the talented Marianne Dulong from Dulong Fine Jewelry. If those earrings could speak. Mary also wore a couple of bracelets from the same designer. One of them old. The other one is all new. It is from Dulong Fine Jewelry's latest collection. Her golden necklace is a reuse. It is from Orit Elhanati. I truly admire her designs and creativity with materials and stones. Impressive craftsmanship! We also get a small glimpse of an old Anni Lu pearl bracelet.

Her pointed nude Prada pumps are old as well. She often likes to pair nude pumps with more colourfull outfits, but this time she paired them with a not se laud dress. Makes the outfit look so fine and fresh. Don't you think?

SAYEMAN BEACH RESORT

In the afternoon, the Crown Princess arrived to the Sayeman Beach Resort (here) - her hotel during the visit. She was friendly welcomed by the staff with happy faces, smiles and a bouquet of flowers.

Mary had changed to a more comfortable and relaxed outfit, when arriving to the hotel. She wore lovely green trousers and match them with a plain white blouse. Once again, she flashed her new brown leather bag from Naledi Copenhagen.

Visiting Bangladesh

April, 5-6th

Crown Princess Mary is visiting Bangladesh along with Minister of Development Ulla Tørnæs from 5-6th of April. The visit focuses on strengthening women's economic opportunities as part of the UN world goal number five on equality.

Crown Princess Mary visiting Farmer Field School in Dhaka

I came as a total surprise to me when pictures of the Crown Princess in Bangladesh started showing up on my computer screen. Haven't heard a thing about this trip. Well, I wondered why she had no events coming up in April, but some months are quieter than others. What I have been able to find out, then Mary arrived to the capital Dhaka in Bangladesh on Wednesday April 5th left the country the following day. But I am not quite sure about the schedule. It is rather unusual that we don't hear about these official visits but it could be a matter of her safety. This is Mary's first visit to Bangladesh and she travelled along with Minister of Development Ulla Tørnæs and a Danish business delegation. The visit focuses on strengthening women's economic opportunities. As first thing in the morning she visited the project Farmer Field School in Moddhu Rakudia. The project aims to improve women's knowledge of the agricultural technician. The Crown Princess also visited the village Panbari which has been severely affected by floods, storms and high water levels due to climate changes. As both visits there were plenty of time for her to meet the locals which happily told Mary their stories.

During her first day in Moddhu Rakudia and Panbari she wore a comfortable outfit; a white button down shirt, beige trousers and matching slip-ons. Sunglasses protected her eyes while her hair were place on top of her head, keeping everything under control during the midday sun.

Crown Princess Mary meeting with Jaago Foundation and Auko-Tex Group in Dhaka

As part of the Crown Princess' first day in Bangladesh, she also met with a few schools supported by the Jaago Foundation. It has been a true pleasure to watch pictures and a video's from her visits. From the second she arrived every one of the children tried to get her attention -and they did. Every minute she spend along with the school's children. Earlier in the morning Mary also payed a visit to the capital slum. Everywhere she went, Mary was pleasantly greeted by the people met. Many of them were happily surprised to see a real princess for the first time in their life, although a little disappointed that she was not wearing a crown and a gown. In the afternoon the Crown Princess and Minister of Development Ulla Tørnæs visited a clothing factory Auko-Tex in Ghazipur. They were also accompanied by the Danish Ambassador in Bangladesh Mikael H. Winther.

Spending her last couple of hours in, among others, Ghazipur she had changed to a bit more colourful outfit. Mary paired a powder pink blouse with a pair of brown dress pants, accessorized with matching ballet flats.

Crown Princess Mary attending a reception

We haven't got that many pictures nor information's about her whereabouts during the stay in Bangladesh, nor do we from the Crown Princess' last reception before leaving Dhaka. At the evening reception on Thursday several locals, women, contractors etc. were specially invited to attend the reception. This gave Mary yet another opportunity to hear about challenges, projects, stories told by the locals and experience with what climate changes can cause of problems and maybe even how to turn it into something positive.

As many of the other attending women Mary were dressed in a colourful printed dress at the reception. She embraced the style with loose wavy hair and natural makeup.

Day 1. Olympics in Rio de Janeiro

Monday, August 1st
Along with Prince Joachim and Princess Marie, the Crown Prince couple are present at different events at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Time is finally here. What we all have been waiting for - the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The official opening ceremony is taking place on Friday, August 5th. Representatives from the Danish royal family are also attending the official opening.

A couple of days before the Crown Prince couple arrived to Rio de Janeiro, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie arrived along with Prince Nicolai, Prince Felix, Prince Henrik and Princess Athena. They arrived to attend both a 125th anniversary and a 70th birthday. The family spend a little time on their own, enjoying Brazil. They visited the beautiful Iguaçu Falls on the border between Brazil and Argentina, here. Both Prince Joachim and Princess Marie will attend several other events during their attendance in Brazil, among others a gala dinner onboard the training ship 'Danmark' and a concert with Danish Radio Girls' Choir. They will also attend events along with the Crown Prince couple, who by the way, arrived on July 31st and attended their first event the following day.

As member of IOC -the International Olympic Committee, the Crown Prince attended the opening ceremony of the '129th IOC session'. It took at Cidade Das Artes prior to the official opening ceremony of the Olympics on Friday. He attended accompanied by his wife. Seems like it was a really good evening. Several photos of the couple have been published here and here. They just make such a great couple - the Crown Prince and his wife.

Thrilled to see her in that dress again. I clearly remember the first time she wore it and almost everybody hated it because of the floral print, which is why I can't get enough of this dress. The dusty colours and lovely floral print is simply outstanding. Do you remember her wearing it before? - it was last year, when she attended an anniversary celebration in Copenhagen along with Queen Margrethe, the Crown Prince, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie, here. Love to see her in this Burberry Prorsum (Collection: AW 2014-2015) dress again. You still do not like it?

I adored how she styled the dress last time with her Valentino sandals. This time she accessorized it with a pair of pink patent leather pumps from Gianvito Rossi. As the dress, I can't get enough of Rossi's designs. Perfectly matching the rest of her outfit she wore a knot clutch from Bottega Veneta and a pair of brand new earrings. I still haven't been able to identify them, but I'm working on it. As always you are more than welcome to share your thoughts about possible designer with me. So far, I have excluded that they are not from Jewlscph by request. My second though was the Danish jewellery designer Annikat, but I can't seem to find the right model. Then the style was embraced by a golden Orit Elhanati necklace, a Dulong Fine Jewelry bracelet, two diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen, a beaded bracelets from Anni Lu and yet another I believe is her Charlotte Wæhrens creation. I don't think this is the only great outfit we are going to see during their trip to Rio.

The Crown Prince Couple's Prizes 2015

Saturday, October 3rd

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended the presentation of the Crown Prince Couple's Prizes 2015 taking place in Kulturværftet, Helsingør.

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary arrived to Kulturværftet in Helsingør with Kronborg castle in the background. They arrived shortly before 8:00 pm. local time to host this year's Crown Prince Couple's Prizes 2015. The award show was broadcasted live on Danish television and lasted about one and a half hour. Did you watch the show? I did. I do every year. It has become a annual tradition and I really love this year's show. Usually I only look for pictures on the internet, but a few times a year I take the chance to enjoy her live on TV. The Crown Prince Couple's Prizes is our window into the Danish artistic world. We see musicians, writers, designers etc. A little bit of everything really. An evening of true admiration and honoring Danish artists for their innovative and creative work.

Several different artists are nominated and only four of them wins a prize at the award show. The Crown Prince Couple have presented these four prizes the last eleven years every years at a different location somewhere in Denmark. The Crown Princes Couple's Prizes was established in 2004 as a wedding gift to the couple and was first presented in 2005. This was a gift from the Bikuben Foundation. Until 2009 the award had another name: 'The Crown Prince Couple's Cultur Prize' and then it was changed to the current name. At the same time, in 2009, the numbers of prizes was expanded from one to four, in three different categories. The Crown Prince Couple's Prizes was in 2013 awarded for the first time outside Denmark, as the awards ceremony was held in the Opera House in Sydney. I'm sure you all remember it very well -the Crown Princess in her stunning pink Ole Yde gown. Overall the prizes focuses on outstanding performances, innovative and excellence ideas in the Danish art and culture such as social work. Below you see the winners and why the prize is given:

  • The Crown Prince Couple's Culture Prize/Kronprinsparrets KulturprisThe prize goes to a Danish, Faroese and Greenlandic artist who has made an outstanding achievement, and one who can expect great achievements in the future, both national and internationally. The winner also gets DKK 500,000.
The Culture Prize winner is: Theater director Elisa Kragerup

  • The Crown Prince Couple's Stardust Prizes/Kronprinsparrets StjernedryspriserIt is given in recognition of innovative, younger Danish, Faroese and Greenlandic artists who have shown the courage to break new ground in their artistic genre which has been innovative and uncompromising in their artistic exploration. The winners are also given DKK 50,000
The winners are: Designer Mark Tan & Author and artist Amalie Smith

  • The Crown Prince Couple's Social Prize/Kronprinsparrets Sociale PrisThis prize is given to a private, public or voluntary association, institution or organization that is behind an innovative, creative and innovative project or initiative for the benefit of socially vulnerable or marginalized groups in Denmark or Greenland. The project gets DKK 500,000. The winner is the project: Mind Your Own Business
A wonderful evening like this takes a wonderful evening gown and Mary didn't disappoint me at all in her dazzling new black outfit. Because I watched the live broadcast yesterday evening I got a glimpse of her look -saw how it moved when she moved. The style was very 50s with its A-line skirt featuring beautiful laser cut flowers, a fitted waist accessorizes with black stones and a turtleneck. I need to admit that I did not see she's wearing a skirt and a blouse. Why didn't I see that? But thanks to all of you, especially Gitte I now see that it is a two piece outfit. Actually we have seen her wear the blouse before at the celebration of Per Thornit's 70-years birthday in 2012, here. This also give us a chance that we actually are able to find out where the skirt comes from. Days before the award show we found out that designer Mark Tan was one of the winners. To honor him he could have created the dress Mary would be wearing at yesterday's show. But I had my doubts. The skirt she wore is too feminine and features too many details. If Mark Tan had designed her outfit I think it had been way more minimalistic and plain. To find the skirt hasn't really been easy and I'm not the one to take the credit for this, cause Kate identified her new laser cut A-line skirt. It is from Sofie Topsøe Mailand (Spring/Summer 2016). Apparently, Sofie designed the skirt as an inspiration from the 50s. You can follow the entire process of her project here. It is really fascination to read her thoughts behind the design. Mary was even more stunning wearing red lipstick and the bordeaux clutch from Sergio Rossi. In my opinion red and black are two of the most glamorous colours in a combo. Absolutely magnificent. I have heard comments about her hairstyle; you think it makes her look old. Sorry but I really love it. It's perfectly styled to match her look. Her use of the Ruby Parure is great! To use the ruby brooch instead of a necklace is brilliant, innovative and creative as the winners of the evenings prizes. I want to mention that earrings, bracelet and ring are not originally a part of the parure such as the brooch is. She completed her outfit with a pair of new black Gianvito Rossi pumps. I'm breathless...

During the show at Kulturværftet in Helsingør, an interview with the Crown Prince couple was broadcasted. Something we see almost every year. Here the couple make a comment about each prize and why it is given. During this year's the interview, the Crown Prince couple wondering around in Helsingør with Kronborg castle in the background. She was dressed in the most beautiful striped shirt dress from Baum und Pferdgarten (Autumn/Winter 2015) which was also posted on their Instagram, here. Wonder what it feels like to see the Crown Princess wear your design? Never mind. She matched the new dress with her beige L.K. Bennett wedges, Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses and bracelets from Charlotte Wæhrens and Anni Lu. Sorry to say, but I can't get enough of this outfit. I would love to wear it myself any time.

Receiving Crown Princess Mary Scholarship 2015 winners

September, Wednesday 2th

Crown Princess Mary met the Danish recipients of the Crown Princess Mary Scholarship in Frederik VIII's Palace, Amalienborg.

Kongehuset.dk

The scholarship was established back in 2004, the same year as Frederik and Mary got married, and was a gift from the University of Copenhagen to the couple. It is given to two Australian students who have been nominated by universities and chosen by the Danish scholarship committee and award awarded the scholarship which also are given to Danish students. The Crown Princess welcomed all 9 recipients and UTAS Vice-Chancellor and Professor Peter Rathjen from University of Tasmania in the Fanegemakket (a room in Frederik VIII's Palace). After the warmhearted welcoming, a picture was taken of them all gathered to remember the day. Then there were all invited to a reception in the Tapestry hall. I find it a little odd that this meeting with the Danish recipients are so "secret". Why aren't the press allowed to be there? When the Crown Princess Mary Scholarship are given to the two Australian students it's much more official. Well, we can't do a thing about it.

With only very few pictures I thought it would be way too complicated to find out what she was wearing. But actually it was not that difficult. At first I was sure she wore a dress, but with a little help from Sarah and another good friend of mine, I now know she's wearing a Prada skirt and blouse. When I searched for an identification I thought about Prada and looked but I didn't find a thing. The brown leather details are pretty significant for Prada's new collection. I ask for your help to find her new blouse. Amanda managed to find the blouse in a lovely purple colour. She's wearing her Anni Lu and Charlotte Wæhrens bracelets and very likely also the Orit Elhanati necklace. Notice her hair; when she handed over the Crown Princess Mary Scholarship in 2007 she had more or less the same length. I like her with this hairstyle, it makes me think that maybe I should try the same length? The brown leather pumps I haven't been able to identify, but I am pretty sure she has worn them several times before. I really need all the help I get. So, don't hesitate if you have an idea about anything of what she's wearing.

The launch of Loving Spoken

Tuesdays, August 25th

With the Mary Foundation did Crown Princess Mary attend the launch of the project Loving Spoken
 at Guldberg School in Copenhagen.

For quite a while we haven't seen the Crown Princess. Mainly because of the official vacation. Now she is back again. Of course this means twice as much work for me, but it doesn't matter. Nothing's better than diving into the royal world of overwhelming dresses and glimpsing tiara's. I know there is non of that in this post, but I'm sure you know the feeling. When the Crown Princess arrived to Guldberg School in Copenhagen to attend in the launching, she was met by a class of eight grade pupils with waving flags. The reason for her visit is a project Loving Spoken which gives the young people some tools to prevent violent relationships. Loving Spoken will be tested in several different classes before other school will be able to buy in 2016. The idea started back in 2010 which proves that such projects takes time to develop. I'm sure it has been created specially by people who work and understand these issues. Domestic violence is one of the Mary Foundations focus areas. Domestic violence is a hard subject to talk about and for her to be open and actually talk about makes the dialogue a bit easier. Of all my heart I hope Loving Spoken will be able to help a lot of young people to prevent ending up in a violent relationship. After she gave a speech, which was really incredible. She took plenty of time to chat with some of the young people to hear their personal story. She expressed how important she think it is to learn the young once and for all, to talk about their feelings and give them a way out if they need it. Even though hard feeling is difficult to talk about, we need to. This is also a part of the tools from the project: to be able to express your feeling's and thoughts.

Casual in black and white, Mary attended the launching. No confusing prints and colours, only plain claim colours with a little fun on the shoes. We will come back to shoes and other accessories later. Yesterday I had no time to look for her clothes because I was in the middle of doing the post from August 24th, when she attended the opening of the new psychiatric hospital in Slagelse. Luckily, I have amazing followers who are there to give me a helping hand. I was so sure that her black blouse had to be from Hugo Boss, but an awareness reader saw something I hadn't seen: the little white stitched heart '<3' on the back. This heart is used by Danish brand Julie Fagerholt Heartmade. I haven not been able to find the identical model, but this is enough proof to me. The link below is just to show you how the heart looks like. The sleeves were rolled up. A really great detail. Then we have a new skirt as well. A creamy white one featuring a high waist. Now it has been identified as Day Birger et Mikkelsen. It was found by stylish royal women on Danish Royal Family! With her new cream white A-line skirt and high ponytail hairstyle, she reminds me of a classy 50s outfit -the stereotype teenage outfit. Mary bring this outfit to a whole new level. The business style for everyday use.
No outfit without accessories. Mary chose simple and colourful jewellery to give yesterday's look a little more fun. We all know about the Anni Lu bracelets, I've been able to identify two of the three as Mess Army and Fun Army. The third one is her multicoloured sapphire Charlotte Wæhrens bracelet. I am considering to give myself one of the Anni Lu bracelets for my birthday?Than there was a new one or at least I think it's new. A golden bracelet features a circle pendant with an engraved 'M'. Could be a Jane Kønig tag. The two necklaces we also know all about -one from Orit Elhanati and Marianne Dulong. I also see a diamond ring from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. I was convinced she was wearing brand new earrings from Jewlscph and now I know she in fact is. Apparently several people have sought where they could purchase the earrings, so they asked the designer herself maybe because the link I had shared not worked... Then I got an email from Jewlscph where they explained which model she was actually wearing. Bottega Veneta is the designer of her expensive bag, like the Anni Lu bracelets we know everything about it. Mary has worn it multiple times at almost any kind of occasion, such as with the stunning and edgy Christian Louboutin snake pumps. It simply does not get any more stylish. She topped off this wonderful daytime look with a beautiful natural make up.

Inauguration of psychiatry hospital in Slagelse

Crown Princess Mary attended the inauguration of a new psychiatry hospital in Slagelse.

It was clearly a overwhelmed Crown Princess who arrived to Slagelse, when she entered the hall with the round staircase, the high ceiling and with the amazing light. She was truly impressed. When she cut the red ribbon with the golden scissors, the first psychiatry hospital in 100 years was inaugurated in Denmark. Green gardens and plenty of space surrounds the future patients such as special designed light. Back in time the psychiatry hospitals were associated with long white corridors. Here we have a new and innovative hospital that, hopefully, will be able to help a lot of people to a better life. The patients will also be surround by very well-designed architecture from staircases to accommodations. I found some pictures, here, of the new construction. If you're in the situation where you need to get psychiatric help I think the last thing you want is a plain monotone hospital. It really does not reminds me of a psychiatry hospital at all.

For such a great event in the Danish hospital history also requires that Mary is dressed for the occasion. In a sea of different blue shades, she wore her Signe Bøgelund-Jensen dress features a fitted waist and cap-sleeves. A dress we have seen multiple times before on different occasions. I think it was in 2012 at the Olympic Games in London, here, she showed the world the dress for the first time. It is... what the fourth or firth time we see it and I still love it. The design is a beautiful combination of colours and a water colour inspired pattern. A significant print Mary wears with style. For her to chose beige accessories are great because all attention is on the dress. Still, I want you to take a closer look or let us do it together. Bøgelund-Jensens creations was matched with a reused straw pillbox hat made by milliner Susanne Juul. She wore the hat back in 2012 on an official visit to South Korea, here, and at the opening of the Danish Parliament 2011, here. In both cases she was extremely beautiful, like the 60's fashion icon Jackie Kennedy with her classy style. I have a wish that I some day will be the happy owner of a vintage pillbox hat. One of my best readers noticed that Mary might have had her hair dyed in a light brown colour. Her earrings, I think, is the square aquamarine blue pair from Marianne Dulong. The beige Christian Louboutin pumps are made for this kind of outfit if you ask me. A perfect match was the leather clutch from Carlend Copenhagen.

Let us for a second move our eyes back to the jewellery, because I completely forgot her bracelets and the ring on her finger. Anni Lu's bracelets have been very popular for Mary to wear lately. In the style of Anni Lu's designed she wore her Charlotte Wæhrens bracelet. For quite some years, Mary has been wearing a golden bracelet with tiny flower pendants, also yesterday, but I have never been able to identify it. My best guess is Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. And than we have the ring on her right hand. I spotted it right away. Still, I can't recognize it, my pictures are in a bad quality. She topped of the look wearing beige gloves. It really does not get any better!

Therapy with TUBA in Copenhagen

Thursday, August 18th

Crown Princess Mary attended a group therapy session at TUBA with young men and woman such as a therapist, to talked about problems and experience to be a child of parents with an abuse.

B.dk

Back in 2014 TUBA (Therapy and advise for young people who are children of alcohol abusers) - was given the Crown Prince couples Social Prize. When the Crown Princess handed over the award to Axel Klemensen and Henrik Appel, she reasoned why with these words, here. At that time the Crown Princess made a promise that one day she'd visit the organization. And here she is, a year later. According to statistics; TUBA helps more than 400 children and young people each year. They are doing an incredible job, all voluntarily. I'm not child of alcohol abusers or know anyone who are therefor I can't tell how hard it is, but if 400 children and young people each year need help I am grateful an organization like TUBA exists. Most times, issues can be solved by talking about the problems. Organization's like TUBA always impress me and I'm grateful. I hope that the organization will keep going with their impressive job for a long time and I wish the best of lucky with all their future projects. Her visit in the rooms of TUBA at Vesterbro, Copehagen, lasted for about two hours. She met several young people who have been a part of the therapy sessions TUBA offers. According to different articles, the Crown Princess also took part in the session without as much as word.
After two hours of therapy the Crown Princess was on her way home, but the car that was about to pick her up was a little late, so Mary had to wait standing on the street. Not something I remember we have experienced before. Things happen. She was quite calm and to some Danes joy they got a rather rare glimpse of their Crown Princess.

Sitting in a light grey couch talking to several member and involved people, she blended in with her new Signe Bøgelund-Jensen dress. This was identified by Kate. A wonderful dress. When I first saw it, I had no idea who the designer could be, maybe because I haven't had the time to actually look at it closely. My two weeks of vacation is to blame that I'm a little behind with the blog or at least I was. Her hair was beautifully waved which gave her a soft and more casual look next to the rather delicate Bøgelund dress. The diamond earrings are from Hartmann'sAnni LuCharlotte Wæhrens and Marianne Dulong created her bracelets. This is a wild guess, but I think she could be wearing a diamond ring from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen as well. The two necklaces are from Marianne Dulong and Orit Elhanati. Two classic pieces of jewellery, just way more fun and playful. She completed her outfit with nude patent leather pumps from Jimmy Choo, not seen in years.

Birthday party at Tranekær castle

Saturday, August 8th

Crown Princess Mary attended the 50th birthday party of Count Christian and his wife Countess Mette Ahlefeldt-Laurvig. The birthday party was held at Tranekær Castle -the Count and Countess' home on Langeland. Prince Joachim and Princess Marie also attend the celebration. Crown Prince Frederik did not attend because of a pneumonia.

What an entrance! Without her husband next to her, Crown Princess Mary arrived to Tranekær Castle on Langeland. If she was fascinated by the huge red castle in front of her, I understand why. Two years ago me and my family was on vacation close to Tranekær Castle and we all love to go around and see the palaces and castles located in the vicinity of where we are. In my family we are all very interested in history. There's something magical about castles. History tell us who we are and who we were. History created our society -whether or not we like it. Tranekær has a long history back to 12th century. The castle has a quite interesting history and if you want you can read all about it here. I really think you should take the time. The Crown Princess made a fast and elegant entrance accompanied by Claus and Anna von Lowzow. You may remember the name of the woman. She made the documentary The Royal Jewellery broadcasted on Danish television in 2011. A magnificent documentary.

To a party like this, knee length dresses are not that suitable. Floor length is indeed. Mary chose a figure hugging gown in black featuring yellow- and blue flowers. Lately, Mary has worn clothes I have had a hard time identifying, but this one wasn't hard to find at all. Similar to the dress from September 10th 2014, here, this one is also from Erdem. Obviously, right? Thanks to Pernille, Kate, Royals & Fashion to let me know about the designer. The dress has actually been worn by Kelly Ripa as well, here. After a closer look I found out that she wore a black gown at the party. It would also have been great in a midnight blue colour as the shorter model. Instead Mary embrace the style with bright blue accessories. The qquamarine blue chandelier earrings featuring small diamonds was shining next to her elegant hairstyle. The story tells that her earrings was a gift from her husband Crown Prince Frederik. We may never know if it is true. As other jewellery she wore several Anni Lu and Charlotte Wæhrens bracelets. Then there is her brand new clutch. A bright blue clutch with a huge diamond square stone on top. With the help from Pernille, I now can tell you that it's from one of her favourite designers: PradaPernille & Kate they made my thoughts a reality because I had a feeling that her blue pumps were new and from Gianvito Rossi and they found the exact same model, despite they do not know each other and live miles away apart. When you have been fascinated by the Crown Princess for many years as the three of us, you recognize new thing pretty fast. It had become a strength or maybe weakness. Maybe you also noticed that she, once again, wore a coral nail polish? My only comment is: welcome to the 60s! Hair and makeup are beautifully done.

The Designers' Nest & Designers Nest Award 2015

Friday, August 7th

Crown Princess Mary attended the Designers' Nest show and handed over the prestigious Designers' Nest Award

Frederiketmary.centerblog.net 1

For a second my heart stopped when I saw the first photos from the Designers' Nest Award. I had a hard time breathing because the Crown Princess looked simply stunning. Every single component perfectly matched -classic with a twist of something modern. To me she was on the top of the game! At the arrival the Crown Princess was welcomed with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Later, after the show, Crown Princess Mary graced the runway herself to hand over a huge bouquet to the winner Swedish Sara Lundberg from the Swedish School of Textiles. When she was photographed with Sara, she was one big smile just as the winner. The two women had a little chat. I am sure Mary congratulated Sara Lundberg with the award.

We can't overlook that she was wearing that gorgeous new long vest. They are so trendy right now. I think we will see many of them during fall. I considered to buying one myself. Now I might actually do it. Mary convinced me with hers which has been identified as a Fonnesbech (SS15) creation. This is the first time we see her in their design. I really cannot describe why I like this new vest so much, but Mary with her brown hair wear it so beautifully. Notice the orange belt and lining. What a stunning detail. Maybe you think you have seen both the vest and the combination Mary wore at the Designers' Nest; you are actually on to something. One of my most dedicated readers told me a very interesting thing. Back in 2014 Mary was on an official visit in Canada with Frederik. Here she attended a fashion arrangement on September 18th accompanied by a woman with the name Eva Kruse. She is the CEO of the fashion industry network organization Danish Fashion Institute and the Copenhagen Fashion Week. Eva Kruse wore, on September 18th, the exact same vest as Mary in the combination with white trousers and blouse. You see a picture of Eva in her Fonnesbech vest on the picture right below. Because of the plain white clothes underneath the vest, both Mary and Eva both looked way taller. It's a great contrast. Take a quick look at Mary's trousers; love that she isn't not just wearing normal straight trousers. These JOSEPH trousers gives the outfit something special.

Carefully, I've studied every picture I have to see if Mary wore any kind of bag or clutch. I realized, she wasn't. This is the second time in a very short time. She accessorized her outfit with two golden necklaces -one from Orit Elhanati and one from Marianne Dulong. Mary has worn these two a lot lately. A great match. If you just need to have one yourself and can't afford a real Marianne Dulong, then I have this, here, to show you. Sent to me be a reader who love it as much as I do. It's a great match. Her earrings are from Marlene Juhl-Jørgensen. Again a bracelet or two from Anni Lu and Charlotte Wæhrens on the right hand and a brand new golden cuff featuring a huge diamond shaped stone. I was asked if it was a watch or a bracelet -differently a bracelet. My best reader Pernille has now found the right one. It's a vintage bracelet in 14k gold with a large citrine stone from the Danish jewellery designer Børge Niels Knudsen. The gold and silver diamond rings are both from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. She stunned also wearing studded Valentino shoes.
