Christmas time!

We are only just a few days away from the biggest night of them all: New Year's eve! This means we are so close to all these wonderful New Year receptions. Really something to look forward to. Meanwhile a few things has happened right before and after Christmas eve on December 24th, for the Crown Prince couple and their family. The couple celebrated Christmas at Fredensborg Castle along with the rest of the family.

December 24

Like millions of other families around the world, more than 40 members of the royal family were gathered at Fredensborg Castle on December 24th to celebrate Christmas. These moments are always kept private which I completely understand. But this year was different. We were, for a moment, exclusively allowed to see what such an evening (or dinner) looks like because Prince Achilleas of Greece posted a picture on his Instagram. From what I see on this one picture Mary was dressed in her purple Alexander McQueen gown. The dress is actually quite old, here, and has also been used a few times on different occasions before this one. She also wore a pair of long silver earrings featuring purple pendants in amethyst. Imagine yourself and your family being dressed like this on Christmas eve?

December 25

For many years it has been a tradition for the royal family to share a Christmas card with the rest of Denmark and their family. I know many of you have been disappointed this year, because we haven't got any card from the Crown Prince couple so far. This is one of the things I look forward to each year with great excitement. But most things can be explained. The reason is because the royal family members met at Fredensborg Castle to attend this year's Christmas photo. The same thing happened in 2006, here. After the photo was taken, the Crown Prince couple had invited the family to attend a Christmas lunch in the Chancellery, right next to Fredensborg Castle (yes where Frederik and Mary lived for many years), where, among other, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie attended with their children. At the Christmas gathering Mary was dressed in a black outfit with white pearl earrings made by Marianne Dulong

December 26

The day after their Christmas lunch in the Chancellery hosted by Frederik and Mary, some of the royal family member went for a walk in the garden of Fredensborg. Prince Nikolaos, Princess Tatiana, Princess Alexia, her husband Carloas joined the Crown Princess and Ziggy for a walk. As some of the royal children joined them. During the walk Mary wore a warm down jacket, a knitted gray hat and a pair of black rubber boots that could be from Hunter. On the jacket seen a large logo but unfortunately I do not recognize it.

In the evening the family was invited to the Tivoli in Copenhagen by Queen Margrethe. It was to see the Christmas ballet The nutcracker as the Queen has designed costumes for. It was an excited royal family who arrived to Tivoli and left later that same evening. The most interesting we've seen her wear during Christmas is when they arrive at Tivoli.  She showed us wearing a new outfit in the form of a new Zara cape, here, which was found by Kate. Underneath she wore yet another new piece; a white turtleneck sweater with long sleeves from Temperley London, here. I am crazy in love with the fact that Mary wore leather trousers and brown heeled boots! Her outfit was accessorized with a new cross-body bag which to me looks like her Sergio Rossi, but I am not sure at all.

Christmas reception at Amalienborg

Thursday, December 4th

Crown Princess Mary hosted a Christmas reception at Amalienborg with attendances from the Mary Foundation -all their members and collaborators.

Since the Mary Foundation was established back in 2007, they have been collaboration with several organizations, other foundations and companies on their way to combat, among others, bullying and social isolation. Many people are involved in their work and they were specially invited to attend a Christmas reception with the Crown Princess as host. The reception took place at Amalienborg in Copenhagen. They all enjoyed a couple of hours in each others company where experiences and results also were discussed. This Christmas reception is a Mary's way of saying 'thank you for yet another fantastic year'. The Mary Foundation was not able to do what they do without their collaborators. The CEO of the Mary Foundation Helle Østergaard also attended the reception. What makes me thrilled about this reception is the fact that we are allow to see a few pictures from inside the walls of Amalienborg.

Red are often associated with Christmas. Not sure it is the reason why Mary wore a red dress but I simply adore it. The colour and shape are incredibly beautiful! I wouldn't mind wearing it myself. I assumed that the dress was new and guess what, it is in fact new and comes from Dolce & Gabbana. Thanks to my reader who shared her findings with me on this one. She accessorized this adorable red dress with black pearl jewellery, all from Marianne Dulong. Nor the earrings, bracelet or necklace are new but it does not happen very often we get to see all of it at the same time. No doubt that I am a hug fan of white pearl jewellery but black pearls are also stunning. The golden watch is her Cartier watch. I can’t hide from you that I’m a huge fan of red both clothing's, accessories and make-up which is why I am so excited about this outfit. She even matched the dress with a glossy red lipstick.

First Lego League 2014

Saturday, November 29th

Crown Princess Mary attended the opening of the Scandinavian finale for First Lego League. It took place in the House of Industry, Copenhagen.

In a great Mary arrived to the House of Industry, Copenhagen, to attend the opening of the First Lego League. This project gives young people in the age between 9-14 the opportunity to experience the fun of science and technology. The young people work in groups or small teams to build amazing constructions of LEGO. More than 25,000 teams from 80 countries are today working with the project who comes from all over the world. Today 500 students were gathered from both Denmark, Sweden and Norway to compete to build the best LEGO Mindstorm robot. And it was on this occasion the Crown Princess visited the House of Industry. Usually she is welcomed by the sweetest flower girl but this time was a bit different. A robot carrying a bouquet of flowers was the one who welcomed her at the arrival. It was great fun to see her facial expression when she first saw the robot. She was then given a guided tour to see for herself what all the talented students had been working on for quite some time. She was clearly impressed but the work they had done. Proudly the young people showed and told Mary about their robot and the process on how it was build.

I think everyone in Denmark agree on one thing; it is freezing cold outside. Also the main reason why I believe Mary was dressed the way she was at the opening. At the arrival she was wrapped up in her JOSEPH cape featuring leather details. Wondering around watching the students projects it was possible to see what she was wearing underneath the cape. Once again she wore one of her black turtleneck blouses. I am crazy in love with the cape but when I saw that she is wearing a leather pencil skirt I'm even more in love with that. The combination of a turtleneck blouse and leather skirt is incredible! Very chic. Unfortunately I can not tell where the new skirt is from because I have no idea where to find it. I had JOSEPH in mind but I'm not sure the ones I have found is the right one. Any ideas? You find clear and good pictures of it in some of the links that I have shared with you. Mary matched the rest of the outfit with a blue Quidam clutch. It took me quite a while to figure out where her clutch is from (the same she got in grey) but suddenly a dear friend of mine was lucky to identify it. The same goes with the suede pumps. I have been looking everywhere to find them and suddenly one day they appeared at Pura Lopez. Then I have only left to make a comment on the jewellery. The earrings are her floral ones from Jewlscph and that oval ring I still do not know who designed. I keep think of Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. For sure this is an outfit I'm going to try!

Child Heart Foundation Scholarships 2014

Tuesday, November 25th

Crown Princess Mary attended the presentation of the Child Heart Foundation's scholarships at Herlev Hoptial.

Along with her lady-in-waiting Tanja, that Crown Princess Mary arrived to Herlev Hospital as guest of honor and patron of the Child Heart Foundation, she attend the presentation of the Child Heart Foundation's scholarships. Herlev Hospital is specialized in heart- and cancer patients. She was warmly welcomed by both employees, patients and other attendances. During her visit she had the chance to speak with a few patients hospitalized at Herlev Hospital and some of the employees. They shared their experiences with her and Mary listened with great interest in everything she heard. After it was time for her to present this year's Child Heart Foundation's scholarships which took place at Hotel D'Angleterre in Copenhagen. The three scholarship winner are researcher Mette Høj Lauridsen, Juliane Theilade and Anja Marie Bornø Jensen. Congratulation to all three winners!

Mary is exactly where she is suppose to be; right where she loved to be, helping. She seemed so happy. At both the visit at Herlev Hospital and at the presentation, she was dressed in a black and red outfit. The incredibly red jacket is from Etoile Isabel Marant as the knitted black skirt is a Hugo Boss creation. Both pieces have been seen at previous occasions, here. The outfit was matched with a black blouse and tights as well as her SAND Copenhagen pointed pumps. And of course we have that beautiful black Carlend Copenhagen clutch. What I really liked about her outfit is her hairstyle! Curly hair makes her look even more pretty. Shame we only get to see her with curly hair occasionally. Mary embraced the style wearing a few pieces of jewellery. I (think I) see a pair of black round earrings but I only have bad quality pictures so I can't tell for sure. Then we have her good old golden Cartier watch and a bracelet that is a bit more special and unique then the rest of it. It has never been confirmed by Mary but her bracelet was a wedding anniversary gift from her husband on occasion of their 10 year anniversary. It features carved images of their four children and their monogram centered in the middle. This magnificent present is made by Ragnar R. Jørgensen

DR Ultra Gala -It's Nice to be Nice

Friday, November 21st

Crown Princess Mary attended DR's Ultra gala show entitled It's Nice to be Nice taking place in Horsens.

Dr.dk

It was as guest of honor the Crown Princess arrived to Horsens to attend Denmark's Radio's (DR) Ultra Gala show titled It's Nice to be Nice focusing on young people in the age between 7-12. The gala show is all about making these young people aware of each others well-being and the importance of the right way to communicate with each other. It is the first time such a show is being held and of course Mary was present to show her support. With the Mary Foundation she is committed to improve well-being among children and young people with projects as Free of Bullying. She arrived in a great spirit with a huge smile on her face. It really looks like she was enjoyed herself in the company of the attending young people and figures from DR Ultra's broadcasts. Mary even got her very own large golden medal for being the 'nicest person' of them all.
DR Ultra and the Mary Foundation had teamed up to create a short film titled Show Courage facing the consequences of bullying. It was viewed by the audience during the evening. The Crown Princess appeared on the screen as the first thing in the short film with a clear message: show courage to do something about bullying.

We have seen Mary pretty much lately but each time is a pleasure. What we saw at the gala show in Horsens is exactly why she is such a great inspiration for me. In my opinion this is one of the best outfit we have seen for quite some time. The lovely suede green Prada dress is not new. First she wore it in 2012 at a return dinner because of a state visit from Slovakia, here. Then in 2013 at Prince Nikolai's confirmation at the after party and in 2014 when she visited New York, here, worn with the same leopard pumps from Gianvito Rossi. At first I suggested that JOSEPH was the designer of her dress because I found a similar model. Now one appeared at Prada and I am not in doubt anymore. Prada is differently the one I have been looking for. She embraced the classy evening outfit with green Jewlscph earrings and several bracelets from among others, Shamballa Jewels. What amazed me most about this look, is how she accessorized her outfit -leopard pumps and a purple suede clutch which has been found at Hugo Boss. Never ever thought about this combination myself but I can't wait to try something similar (first I need a green dress, leopard pumps and a purple clutch). I'm just completely in love with everything about this outfit! Something you see yourself wearing one day?

State of World population report

Friday, November 21st

As patron of the United Nations' Population Fund (UNFPA) Crown Princess Mary attended the launch of their new State of World Population report.

It was in a really splendid mood the Crown Princess arrived to Rysensteen Gymnasium, Copenhagen. She was welcomed with handshakes, flowers and happy faces. She was one big happy face herself. Mary attended as patron of the United Nations' Population Fund (UNFPA) to give a speech on occasion of their newest report entitled The Power of 1.8 billion: Adolescents, Youth and the Transformation of the Future. The report deals with the fact how 1.8 billion young people are able to make an influence in the world, especially in the future if money are invested in for instance school and education. In her speech she, among others, told the audience about some of the many inspiring people she has met during her global visits.

Now Mary is back again! I expressed that I was not a big fan of her outfit yesterday, but this one is just wonderful. I love the combo of the different layers of clothing's. I really like the new navy cape which has leather detail on shoulders and the striped short skirt, with stripes both ways. I have spent several hours trying to find these them piece. But Sophie is the one we need to say thank you to, because she is the one who found both skirt and cape! The cape is from JOSEPH and the skirt turns out to be from Chloé (Pre-AW14). The black turtleneck sweater with long sleeves was perfect because it gave all attention to the skirt and also showed her beautiful figure. Her silhouette looks really pretty. I see she also has some earrings and a ring on her finger, but the pictures I have unfortunately do not show quite enough for me to tell more. Because the skirt is a little short, I like that she had chosen a pair of long suede Prada boots. I assume the little black clutch is from Carlend Copenhagen and that the earrings could be Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. One last thing, of course, that also requires attention is her magnificent hairstyle! I love when her hair is all curly but we only get to see it on very few occasions. At first view I could not see that her hair had changed at all, but it seems no doubt it has. I really like the change!

Convention on the Rights of the Child

Thursday, November 20th

Crown Princess Mary visited the Danish refugees school Løjtegårds school in Kastrup on occasion of the United Nations Children's Conventions celebrating 25th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child

On the occasion of the UN Children's Convention celebrates 25th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child that Mary visited the Danish refugees school Løjtegards school in Kastrup. Mary arrived to Løjtegards school in a really good mood. She was warmly welcomed by many of the schools pupils. During her visit she had plenty of time to talk with several of the children who were more than thrilled to say hello to a real princess. One of the classes had completely transformed their classroom so that it looked like a refugee tent because of this very special occasions. It was a great surprise and the Crown Princess was very impressed about the work they had done. From what I see in the pictures, I believe it was a great day for all of them. It seemed to me like Mary had all the time in the world with these kids.

Well... maybe not what I had in mind. Not that a cardigan and a pair of black trousers aren't good but this new black and white piece doesn't really make anything easer for me. I hope the relatively cold and windy weather is the reason why she has chosen to wear it. Thought the cardigan is not in my taste you still deserve to know who designed it. Sophie is the one who identified it as BA&SH, a French design we haven't seen Mary wear anything from yet (at least not what I am aware of). To me it looks like she was wearing a pair of black ankle boots but I have no good picture that can confirm my suggestion. Something I know for sure is who designed the silver chain necklace. Charlotte Lynggaard did. These necklaces and small penguins are made in collaboration with the Children's Foundation and the money goes to support at water project in Africa. I am really eager to hear your thoughts on this one.

The Bambi Charity Award 2014

Thursday, November 13th

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended the Bambi Charity Award 2014 in Berlin. The Crown Princess received her own award.

Bt.dk

This is indeed a wonderful and amazing day, because our very own Crown Princess Mary is in Berlin accompanied by her husband to receive The Bambi Charity Award 2014. The award has been handed over since 1948 and was originally a film award where the winner were chosen by readers of the Filmrevue Magazine, who voted for their favourite movie star, here. Surrounded by hundreds of photographers, reporters and countless prominent guest; the Crown Princess couple arrived at Stage Theatre at Potzdamer Platz, Berlin. Everyone was screaming to get their attention. The couple were covered in lights from the photographers cameras. At the arrival they were welcomed by the evenings hosts. It was a very proud and honor Mary who entered the stage to give a speech on behalf of her receiving the prestigious award, here. She receive the golden bambi, which by the way is a symbol of hope, for among others her dedicated and committed work with girls and women's rights and healthcare solutions. She handled the whole situation as a true star though I believe she was very nervous. Notice how proud Frederik is of his wife. During the entire evening he is just smiling. Congratulations Mary! You deserve this award so much for everything you have done.

Takes more than just a pretty dress to stand out on the red carpet surrounded by some of the most well-dressed Hollywood stars and Mary did absolutely great! Like everybody else I have heard comments from, I am completely overwhelmed and in love with how beautiful Mary was at the award show. She was wearing a off-shoulder evening gown featuring a small train which is from Jesper Høvring (AW14) in the most incredible midnight blue colour. I could probably talk for hours about this dress but I will leave all the commenting up to you. In that same colour she had chosen a pair of Prada silk pumps and a matching new clutch. At first I found a similar model form Michael Kors but shortly after I realized it is from Prada. She embraced the Hollywood-style by wearing a large aquamarine blue ring and chandelier earrings (which I have once heard are made by Marianne Dulong). Sure you also noticed that rather large diamond bracelet on her right wrist. This masterpiece is from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen's stunning flower collection. She stunned with burgundy nail polish and berry lips. An overall beautiful couple!

Internationl conference in Copenhagen

Tuesday, November 11th

As patron of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), is Crown Princess Mary attending an international conference dealing with FGM/C

Ou busy Crown Princess attended on Tuesday an international conference taking place at Christiansborg Castle in Copenhagen. The conference is dealing with FGM/C and is made in collaboration with among others United Nations Population Fund (which Mary is patron of) and UNICEF Denmark. Mary was kindly welcomed by Minister of Trade and Development Mogens Jensen whom she visited South Africa with beginning of November. Quite many representatives from all over the world attended the conference and Mary took plenty of time greeting as many of them as possible when she arrived. The Crown Princess was the one who gave the opening speech and as always she was well-prepared. In the evening Mary was invited as guest of honor to attend a dinner on occasion of the international conference held in Copenhagen.

Mary was dressed in a simple black and white outfit; in a black turtleneck dress, a pair of black patent pumps from SAND Copenhagen and a long white jacket featuring long sleeves. The coat, she has worn multiple times and was first seen in about 2005 or 2006. What I have heard is that Chanel is the designer but I doubt that. I acknowledge the fact that Chanel are known to use such a material as used for the coat but we have several talented Danish designers who could have created it. Have you ever heard any other designer being mentioned? Actually Mary has two coat in very much the same style, herehereherehere. I have never been able to figure out if it is the same or two different coats. Do you know anything about that? It could be the same, just altered. Enough about the coat. She accessorized her outfit with golden earrings from Marianne Dulong and a Shamballa Jewels bracelet. For quite some time I have been looking everywhere to find her black clutch and have had Carlend Copenhagen in mind but that was wrong. Pernille found it at a Danish designer Quidam

With UNECE & UNWOMEN in Geneva

Thursday, November 6th

Crown Princess Mary attended the conference Gender Equality and Empowerment of Women and Girls for Sustainable Development in the Economic Commission for Europe region. The conference takes place in Geneva.

The Crown Princess has not yet arrived to Copenhagen again because after a four days official visit to South Africa, where she stayed in both Cape Town and Johannesburg, she is now in Geneva. The reason for her visit is the conference Gender Equality and Empowerment of Women and Girls for Sustainable Development in the Economic Commission for Europe region. The conference has been organized by the United Nation and held to mark the 20th anniversary of the women's conference in China called Beijing+20. Mary arrived shortly before the conference was about to begin. She found her seat and spend several hours listening to everything discussed on topic's as poverty, sexual- and reproductive rights and health. The Crown Princess also entered the stage and gave an intense and honest speech.

On her official stay in South Africa we have been lucky to see some really incredibly outfits, so did we at the conference in Geneva. Not much can beat a classy navy blue suit which, by the way, is from Elise Gug (AW14). She matched her look with a pair of pointed pumps from Pura Lopez. These she has been wearing quite a few times before but I haven't really been able to find out where they were from. Now I do. Sure you noticed that brand new leaf brooch right away. Didn't you? I did. Really a masterpiece. Often, especially, brooches are so hard to find because there is a change they are inherited or purchased old. Not that many women wear brooches any longer. Never mind. Boryana is the one to credit on this because she identified it as a piece from an Oscar de la Renta jewellery collection. As other jewellery she embrace the style with designers as Hartmann's, Orit Elhanati, Ole Lynggaard, Marianne Dulong and of course Shamballa Jewels. Last but not least, we have her stunning brown leather bag from Ralph Lauren. A magnificent bag! I will not hide that I am a bit (or pretty much) envious.

* Dailymail.co.uk

At the last day in South Africa, Johannesburg, the Crown Princess attended a meeting with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) as the first thing in the morning. A couple of hours later, she and Minster of Trade and Development Mogens Jensen payed a visit to the Vodocom Gender Based Violence Command Centre. Both were kindly welcomed to the centre. Here they were given a guided tour around the center facilities, to see what the place has to offer. Their guide also told about how the centre has been able to help others. Stories were told and experiences were shared. As the last event on her official visit to South Africa was a visit at the Thuthuzela Clinic. Though Mary was guest of honor during the last day before leaving Johannesburg, she was very humble and only asked when it had something to do with what she was told or shown. It is clear obvious that Mary was truly touched by the many stories people shared with her. Impression's I am sure will stay in her mind for quite a while and be present again when she is back in Denmark, during her work.

Do not think we have ever seen Mary wear any inappropriate outfit, nor did she the last day in South Africa. She was wearing her floral Dolce & Gabbana skirt, a white Hugo Boss blouse and beige patent leather pumps from Jimmy Choo. The multicoloured earrings are a Marianne Dulong design, as the golden necklace is from Orit Elhanati. Mary then wore a golden leaf ring from I'm Jewel. Feminine, aesthetic and polished.

It was been a please to share these posts from her stay in both Cape Town and Johannesburg. Just makes me so proud having a Crown Princess like Mary who have dedicated her work to help those who need it most.

Day 3. Visiting South Africa

Tuesday, November 4th

Crown Princess Mary and Minister of Trade and Development Mogens Jensen are visiting South Africa from November 2-5th. The visit focuses on, among others, sexual- and reproductive health and rights.

Program: Johannesburg
  • 12:30 pm. Crown Princess Mary visited the Brother's for Life.
  • 3:00 pm. Crown Princess Mary visited a diabetes clinic donated by Novo Nordic.
  • 7:30 pm. The Crown Princess attended a networking reception.

Crown Princess Mary during her third day, Johannesburg

Already on her third day! Where has the days are gone? A four day visit is really not much, so we have to take everything where she is still visiting South Africa. The Crown Princess is traveling with Minister of Trade and Development Mogens Jensen, by whom she had traveled with before on similar occasions. First two days she and Mogens Jensen have been visiting Cape Town but now they are in Johannesburg. Mary's day, or noon, began with a visit at the Brother's for Life followed by a visit to a mobile diabetes clinic in the village Winterfeld. The mobile clinic has been donated by the Danish medical company Novo Nordic and the Crown Princess got her eyes on what such an donation have been able to do in a village like Winterfeld. She and Mogens Jensen got the opportunity to talk with many of the employees working at the clinic such as some of the patient who have been got help.

I was overwhelmed by the colour combination she had chosen for today's outfit. When she arrived at the diabetes clinic she was wearing the new Etro coat featuring the most beautiful patterns. According to Princess Watchers the new dusty rose silk blouse is from Hugo Boss and with a little more help I was able to find the right one. Unfortunately, I can't share a link with you because it disappeared from the website. But I have some pictures saved on my computer to those of you who would like to see them. Do not hesitate to contact me. A blouse I hope to see again and because of the simple and feminine style I differently think we will. At the first day in Cape Town she showed us a new pair of beige Tod's wedges which we now have the pleasure to enjoy one more time. She accessorized this lovely outfit with jewellery from Marianne Dulong, Orit Elhanati and Shamballa Jewels such as her Prada sunglasses.

Crown Princess Mary attending a reception

At 7:30 pm. arrived Mary to attend a networking reception along with Minister of Trade and Development Mogens Jensen and the Danish business delegation. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find much information from the reception. It was a network reception where several representative participated from both Denmark and South Africa which was another reason why Mary is on this official visit: to focus on the collaboration between to two countries. A reception like this is the ideal opportunity for everyone to get to know each other better. Mary welcomed all the special invited guest with a handshake, a little small talk and her lovely smile.

In the evening when she attended the reception she had changed clothes to another smashing outfit. I was thrilled to see that Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti (Pre-Fall collection) dress again. I would never have purchased a dress like this but it looks amazing on Mary. And the way she style it with that flower earrings from Jewlscph and the way her hair is roll-up in a hairdo. It is one of my absolute favourite hairdo's -so classy, elegant and chic at the same time. Once again she was wearing her golden Orit Elhanati necklace, a Marianne Dulong and Shamballa Jewels bracelets. The diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen are some we have seen a million times before, but I never get tired of their beauty. I have praised them before and I will gladly do it again if necessary. I am sure these jewellery were not the first ones you noticed, I didn't. My eyes were immidietly drawn to her black pearl bracelet worn on her left arm. A closer look conformed my guess; it is a Monies by Gerda Lynggaard bracelet. Both Ralph Lauren (SS2011) sandals and Naledi Copenhagen clutch were in the same magnificent beige colour and both made of exotic leather.

Day 2. Visiting South Africa

Monday, November 3rd

Accompanied by Minister of Trade and Development Mogens Jensen, is Crown Princess Mary visiting South Africa from November 2-5th, focusing on sexual- and reproductive health and rights such as the collaboration between South Africa and Denmark.

Program: Cape Town
  • 9:00 am. Crown Princess Mary visited the Marie Stopes clinic.
  • 2:30 pm. Crown Princess Mary visited the Mothers2Mothers clinic.
  • 4:00 pm. The Crown Princess payed a visit to the Love Life Youth Centre
  • 7:00 pm. Crown Princess Mary attended the Danish Design Business Mission networking reception.

Crown Princess Mary visiting the Marie Stopes, Mothers2Mothers and Love Life Youth Centre

Mary began her day early because at 9:00 am. she arrived to the Marie Stopes clinic followed by a visit to the Mothers2Mothers clinic. The Crown Princess was in a splendid mood, something you will see if you take a look at all the amazing pictures of her from the second day in South Africa. Though she is on this official visit to focus on serious topics such as healthcare and sexual rights; it is done with a warmth and sincerity. It is like she makes everyone feel comfortable in their own skin, with nothing else than her presence. Also something you have noticed? And when you do not think it can't get any better, it gets better! Because when she visited the Love Life Youth Centre we saw her smile, laugh and even dance. Made my day a *** lot better to watch that. Judging by everything I have seen so far, Mary really really enjoy herself yesterday!

When it come to clothes; Africa means colourful pattern and prints. Multi colour maxi skirts and dresses, lots of jewellery and everything that is just too laud to wear in Denmark. Time for Mary to wear printed dressed and that is exactly what she did. During her second day in Cape Town she was dressed in a reused dress from the Spanish designer Massimo Dutti worn with a brown leather belt and a pair of matching pumps. The shoes are old and used a several previous occasions. First I heard something about Christian Louboutin, but I doubt. I still do not have the right answer to reply your question on who the designer really is, though I have a strong feeling they are from Jimmy Choo. Take a look at the one I have found down below and tell me what's on your mind. Have I found the right one already? Or do I have to keep looking. The combination with this dress and those Louise Grønlykke earrings is not new. As she wore the golden Shamballa Jewels bracelet, she had chosen her Orit Elhanati necklace and Marianne Dulong bracelet one more time. I was a bit surprised to see that golden leaf ring again. It is from I'm Jewel and one of her reused rings. Another wonderful outfit that makes me think I need a similar dress and a pair of brown look-a-like pumps.

Crown Princess Mary attending Danish Design Business Mission networking reception

But her day does not end here. In the evening, around 7:00 pm, Crown Princess Mary arrived to attend a networking reception entitled Danish Design Business Mission. Here multiple Danish brands and Danish companies were given time to show and tell much more about themselves; what they do, how they work, what design it to them and much more. She was accompanied, once again, by Minister of Trade and Development Mogens Jensen, who really seems to enjoy the Crown Princess company as much as she does his. Maybe it is worth mentioning that she attended the network reception only about an hour after she had visited the Love Life Youth Centre. She is indeed a popular women.

At the reception she had changed to something a bit more 'evening appropriate', namely a white blouse featuring no sleeves and some kind of lace detail at front matched with a brand new maxi skirt in the most stunning colours! My reader Kate is the one to inform me who created this new skirt, Giambattista Valli did. It turns out that Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway has a jacket with the exact same print, here. For me, the print works best on a skirt. But who do you think wore it better? A print you would consider wearing? Mary had accessorized her casual evening outfit with a golden laser cut bracelet from Jewlscph and rather large golden earrings from the same designer. the bracelet has been seen once before on a official visit with Frederik to Rio de Janeiro in 2012, here. Do you recall having seen it before? As earlier she also wore her I'm Jewel ring, bracelets from  Marianne Dulong and  Shamballa Jewels. I tend to say, of course, she was wearing golden pumps with this outfit. She wore the same the day before and as I told you, I believe they are from Pura Lopez without it has been confirmed. Make-up and hair were perfect as always. With my eyes all over that skirt, I almost forgot to tell you about the clutch, but I'm pretty sure the remember it. It's her beige Naledi Copenhagen clutch.

Crown Princess Mary visiting Stellakaya Winery

It has only been a few weeks since Mary was on an official two days visit to Tajikistan and here we go; yet another official visit. This time the Crown Princess is visiting South Africa accompanied by Minister of Trade and Development Mogens Jensen whom she has met and worked with at previous occasions. The two of them is visiting South Africa to focus on sexual and reproductive health and rights and to promote the cooperation between Denmark and South Africa on the field. Mary arrived to Cape Town, Africa, in the morning ready for four days state visit. The first say she only had to event to attend and one of them was Stellakaya Winery. Here she got the chance to taste a glass of wine and hear about the production. From what I see, it was with great interest the Crown Princess payed a visit to the winery.

This time a year we wear furry coats, boots featuring fur and cosy hats. It is also the reality right now, Denmark is a cold place to be. Luckily Mary is in Africa where short dresses and bare legs are required. She was wrapped up in a gorgeous printed silk dress from Heartmade Julie Fagerholt (pre-spring 2014) featuring long sleeves. To protect her eyes from the South African sun Mary wore a pair of Prada sunglasses. Something I really admire about how Mary always style her outfits, is how she's able to wear so many jewellery and still look this casual. That is not something I am capable of, are you? I managed identifying the diamond earring as Hartmann's, a Danish company selling some of the finest and best quality pink diamonds. Once again she was wearing her golden Orit Elhanati necklace, once I'm getting more and more use to, such as the Shamballa Jewels bracelet featuring a pink diamond ball and Marianne Dulong bracelet with spinel. Usually when Mary wear her diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard it is with another larger diamond ring in the middle, it was not the case this time. Now I only have left to tell you about that beige peep-toe wedges; they are from Tod's and from what I remember it's not the first time we see them. I am completely stunned by her look and I can't wait to see what she has to show us the new couple of days.

Crown Princess Mary attending dinner with the LGBTI Community

In the end of her first day in South Africa the Crown Princess attend dinner with representatives from LGBTI Community accompanied by her traveling partner Minister of Trade and Development Mogens Jensen. The dinner took place at the local restaurant La Mouette in Cape Town. Mary was warmly welcomed when she arrived. Despite some electricity problems all across Cape Town at the time when the dinner was about to begin, I'm sure it was a great opportunity for the Crown Princess and the Danish business delegation to hear more about the work that LGBTI Community do in South Africa.

I have to start by saying that I really wonder why these evening reception arrangement's are only covered by the press as little as they are. I've found three pictures and two articles. Is there some kind of 'rule' that say she can't be either photographed or interview after 6:00 pm? Well, at least we have a little material to work with, here. She showed up wearing a reused Collette Dinnigan (SS2013) dress, embroidered with grapes. Actually I have never really been a huge fan of this dress, nevertheless Mary makes it work really well. She matched the white and baby blue lace dress and silver lurex Ann Taylor cardigan with a nude  Naledi Copenhagen (NB11) clutch, the golden Orit Elhanati necklace and a golden ring and earrings from Marianne Dulong. And of course her Shamballa Jewels bracelet. For quite some time I was so sure her silver cardigan was from the Danish designer By Malene Birger but I was terribly wrong. Found a close-up on my computer where you see the label and it differently say 'Ann Taylor'. Despite my knowledge about the cardigan I haven't yet been able to track the right model down. I kinda have the same problem with her golden pumps. We have seen them a serval occasions before and I have the feeling they are from Pura Lopez, but I haven't really been able to confirm it. So, tell me is this an outfit you would rock yourself?
