On Tuesday afternoon the Crown Princess attended the presentation of the Designers' Nest Award 2018 at Hotel d'Angleterre in Copenhagen. The exclusive hotel hosted fashion shows created by upcoming design students. The Crown Princess was warmly welcomed with flowers, smiles and handshakes at the arrival. She then entered the grand hall; all in complete silence. As guest of honor she handed over the prestige award along DKK 50,000 to this years best designer. The winner, Axel Enqvist, has been chosen among both Danish and Scandinavian design students. With everything I have seen and heard so far, it was a magical afternoon at Hotel d'Angleterre.

Mary was dressed in the most incredible outfit I think we have seen in a very long time. This is of course my personal opinion. She dazzled in a reused Jesper Høvring (Collection: Jesper Høvring x Great Greenland 2016) suit in burgundy and petrol blue. A magnificent colour combination. At the arrival she stunned wearing a brand new coat in the same colour as the suit. A match made in heaven. So far, I have not been able to identify where her new coat are from. Any ideas are more than welcome. Anyone who would like a coat in the same colour? I would. Mary accessorized her outfit with glamorous golden earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry, a Orit Elhanati necklace and a single diamond ring from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. What makes this a gorgeous outfit is differently the colour-combo and the fact that she was wearing leopard Gianvito Rossi pumps. Probably why I adore her style so much. Everything is perfectly and carefully matched to look stylish, a bit edgy and super classy. I would wear this in an instant if I got the chance.

Meeting in the UN City

Monday, January 29th

All unofficially the Crown Princess participated a meeting at the UN City in Copenhagen, here. She met with several United Nations organization on occasion of the Australian Minister of International Development and the Pacific visited Denmark. Prior to her visit the Minister shared informations on who she was going to meet and what events to attend, here. According to the Danish royal house topics like equality were discussed during the meeting.

Meeting with representatives at the UN City in Copenhagen, Mary was beautifully dressed in a chic business-look. We have seen a similar combination not long ago. It was when she attended the UNFPA's State of World Population Report 2017 on November 1st, here. She embraced the style by wearing a black Helmut Lang blazer featuring leather trim, a matching knitted lace blouse and grey trousers. It you like the blouse as much as I do, then Aiyau sells a similar model, here. Other than her stylish glasses from FLEYE, Mary dazzled wearing embellished heels from Apair. For so long I have wished to found out more about her glasses. Me and a friend have tried, believe me. A kind worker at a Danish company led me in the direction of FLEYE and they confirmed by mail that Mary is indeed wearing their glasses.

The Women's Board Award 2018

Friday, January 26th

The Crown Princess attended the presentation of the Women's Board Award 2018 in Copenhagen. It is the third time she is present. The award has been handed over since 2014 and aim to create greater diversity in the top of Danish business and increase the number of women in Danish boards. Along with Chairman of the Jury Thomas Thune Andersen, the Crown Princess handed over the prestiege award to Marianne Kirkegaard. She is Group CEO for CSM Bakery Solutions in USA. Congratulations to Marianne Kirkegaard with the prize and title as winner of the Women's Board Award 2018. The Crown Princess also gave a speech on occasion of the presentation.

As I mentioned before, this is the third time Mary is present at the presentation of the Women's Board Award. It means that we have already seen three previous outfit's, which can be compared with what she wore on January 26th. You find her previous outfits herehere & here.

This year Mary was dressed in a partly reused and new outfit. First thing I noticed is her blouse. She wore it on January 12th when attending the inauguration of a new Christmas Seal home, here. Since then I have had nightmares because I can't find it. Now, the sweet Amanda shared an incredible identification with me. She is the one who managed to identify Mary's reused printed blouse as Jesper Høvring (Collection: H by Jesper Høvring, here). She embraced a chic look by wearing a brand new leather skirt. It has been identified as Hugo Boss (Collection: BOSS Orange) and it turns out to be navy blue. As accessories Mary had chosen a diamond ring, a golden ring shaped as a leaf and drop earrings. All three pieces are from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. I have always adored the combination of one golden ring and one silver ring. Makes a great match. Would you ever wear both golden and silver jewellery at once? Then we have a pair of snake skin pumps from Prada and that blue Quidam clutch seen multiple times before.

Day 2. Visiting the European Council in Strasbourg

Tuesday, January 23rd

In view of the fact that Denmark is chairman of the European Council's Ministerial Committee until May, the Crown Princess visited the European Council in Strasbourg. The European Council's Ministerial Committee works to protect human rights, democracy and the rule of law.

The Crown Princess arrived a day earlier and attended a private dinner with the Danish ambassador, who is also a permanent member of the council, here. On January 23rd most focus was on Denmark and 'Danishness' with the Crown Princess as the perfect representative and music performed by DRs Girls Choir. Since the second she ended her speech, it has been praised. You should differently hear it. The speech is in English so many of you should be able to understand what she says. Every time she attend events like this, she makes me so proud of being a Dane.

As her speech, she wore a reward winning outfit for the occasion. Mary showed up wearing a reused grey dress from Prada. It goes back to 2015 when she attended the 3rd World Conference of Women's Shelters' in the Netherlands, here. A year later Mary dazzled one more time when attending the Women's Board Award 2016 taking place in HeloitteHuset in Copenhagen, here. Even last year she wore the dress was last wear at a reception where she received the World Health Organization Award, here. She strikes again in the same dress accessorized with new jewellery. She had chosen diamond earrings and a few rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen, a golden Cartier bracelet and what I believe two other bracelets from Dulong Fine Jewelry. We get a glimpse of a handbag which can only be her tan Prada bag. Nor am I in doubt that she's wearing patent pink pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Beautiful pumps. Beautiful outfit. As the day before she arrived wearing her new Max Mara coat identified by Heaven. For sure Mary made a good impression of herself. Really, it is hard to make a bad impression in this outfit. Right?

Day 1. Visiting the European Council in Strasbourg

Monday, January 22nd

For two days the Crown Princess is visiting the European Council in Strasbourg, France. On same occasion she is also present at the European Parliamentary Assembly Session. On this trip is also the Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs Anders Samuelsen. The Crown Princess arrived one day early to attend a private dinner hosted by the Danish ambassador, who is also a permanent member of the council. He and his wife warmly welcomed the Crown Princess, such as flower girls handed over flowers to her at the arrival. With this very unofficial welcoming ceremony, I am positively sure the Crown Princess enjoyed the evening in Strasbourg with good company and a fine dinner.

At the dinner Mary was beautifully dressed in a very chic and stylish outfit. For these occasions we rarely see her in anything else but dresses. This time everything was different because she showed up wearing a blouse and trousers. The blouse is new and features a significant feather-like print such as a eye-catching colour. Heaven suggest Britt Sisseck and I think she is on to something right. As with the new beige wool coat, as she think is from Max Mara. I truly believe she has found what Mary was wearing at the dinner. Non of us have found the exact same model talking about the blouse, but it is similar to this and this. She embraced the style by wearing black slim trousers, a matching Quidam clutch, grey Gianvito Rossi pumps and caramel coloured leather gloves. Yet, she wore another accessory, which I have heard no one talk about. What a shame. Because Mary is also wearing new earrings as well. With no doubt in my mind, I would say they are custom made Kharisma earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry similar in concept as these. I can not say anything bad about her outfit. I absolutely love every single detail.

The opening of 'Aarhus 2018 - European Volunteering Capital'

Sunday, January 21st

It was as patron of Frivillighovedstadsråret the Crown Princess attended the opening of Aarhus 2018 - European Volunteering Capital, here. Each year a new european capital is given the title as Aarhus has been given this year. All because Aarhus has made special remark regarding volunteering. The title is a way to celebrate and honor volunteering. This year the celebration took place at Aarhus City Hall with the Crown Princess as guest of honor. She arrived in a splendid mood; ready to give her speech and officially open the event. You find her remarkable speech here.

Later in the evening, she also visited an exhibition at the City Hall, where the Crown Princess got a chance to meet both the project manager for the Volunteer Capital 2018 and head of Volunteer Center Aarhus.

Mary just looked absolutely stunning in her reuse Ralph Lauren dress. Don't you think? At first I was sure old pictures had found their way to my top search because of the same dress. She wore it the first time in 2015 when she attended the Champions for Change Awards Dinner taking place a Banqueting Hall in London, here. Back then Mary dazzled wearing powder pink pumps, similar to these. They are not the same, but from the same designer -Gianvito Rossi. Really like that dress and shoes match this perfectly in colour. That powder pink colour looks gorgeous next to her dark hair and fair skin. She embraced a beautiful outfit at the opening by wearing drop earrings from Jewlscph and a knot clutch from Bottega Veneta. The simplicity is smashing. At the arrival, she kept warm in a dark grey wool coat, which I am pretty sure we have seen before. Do you recognize it or is it just me? If you manage to find a picture showing her makeup, then take a closer look. Simple perfection.

Inauguration of 'Liljeborg'

Friday, January 12th

For years the Crown Princess has been patron for the Christmas Seal Homes, here, in Denmark. It was also as patron she attended the inauguration of a new Christmas Seal Home called 'Liljeborg' in Roskilde. A very poetic name that includes including the name of a flower -a lily. The Crown Princess has visited Christmas Seal Homes all over the country since she became patron. Now it was time for her to inaugurate a new one. Hopefully a place where many children in the future will learn how to enjoy life much more. During the visit she participated several activities with the children, who seemed to have much fun with the future queen. Eye to eye with the kids, the Crown Princess a couple of hours in Roskilde.

At the inauguration Mary was dressed in a chic pair of black trousers and a brand new printed blouse. I have tried almost everything to identify her new blouse that features long sleeves, ruffles at back and a turtleneck. I would really like to have been the one finding her blouse, but I did not. Sweet Amanda shared with me a blouse featuring a similar print. With her help I was able to find the model Mary was wearing. Enough about all the talking. Mary's new printed blouse is from Jesper Høvring (Collection: H by Jesper Høvring, here). Amazing how this identification could take so long. When arriving Mary stayed warm in her wool coat from JOSEPH. She embraced the style by wearing several accessories as well. First one to mention is the black ankle boots. They have been identified by Heaven as Hugo Boss. We first saw them on November 25th, here. The diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen and the Louise Grønlykke earrings are both reused details. I would absolutely have loved to see just one splash of colour. Maybe red nails, a colourful clutch or a shiny coloured brooch. Then I would give her outfit 10 out of 10.

New year concert with the Home Guard

Tuesday, January 9th

The Crown Princess arrived in a splendid mood for a new year concert at Copenhagen City Hall on Tuesday. For ten years the Danish Home Guard has hosted this new year event. When arrived the Crown Princess was welcomed by Colonel Lennie Fredskov. She was also handed over a bouquet of flowers. Later, the flower girl told a journalist how much fun it was to meet the future queen. After a quick pose for the photographers, she entered a beautifully decorated room where the concert was about to take place. More than 500 Home Guard members also attended the concert. All of them were dressed to perfection in each their uniform. The Crown Princess herself is also member of the Danish voluntary military organisation.

I had no idea what to expect from her outfit at this event. Somehow I thought we would see trousers. I was wrong. Mary showed up wearing a beautiful, floral printed Julie Fagerholt Heartmade dress. We have seen the dress once before on September 1st, when she visited BørneTelefonen, here. So, now we have both seen it with and without a coat. At the concert she dazzled wearing her Prada coat. Mary embraced the evening look with a golden Orit Elhanati necklace, coral pendant earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry and diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. I have been a little trouble with her pumps. Took my many different angles to finally realize that they in fact are from SAND Copenhagen -and not Gianvito Rossi as I first thought. Everything is completely different when we talk about the clutch. No doubt its identity. It is Bottega Veneta. Keeping everything classy with a simple hairstyle and natural makeup, Mary stunned like a star in the night.

The second New Year reception

Thursday, January 4th

Once again Queen Margrethe and the Crown Prince couple were gathered at Christiansborg castle to celebrate the very last New Year reception. Representatives from major Danish organizations royal patrons were specially invited such as officers from the Armed Forces and the Emergency Agency of
1st, 2nd. and 3rd. rank. More than 900 guests were invited to the reception. Feel the atmosphere in the video below that also show the royal family members arriving to Christiansborg in Copenhagen. The Crown Princess has posted a few of her own photos from the reception, here. For sure I am not the only one loving these photos taken by the Crown Princess, right?

For many of you it is already old new what I am about to tell you. Nevertheless, you are going to hear it all one more time. Had a hard time finding pictures from the last reception. Did you have the same problem? I was dying to see what Mary was wearing. Now I know. She showed up wearing an all reused outfit, but in a brand new combination. One we have never seen before. Mary embraced a polished look by wearing a brown velvet jacket featuring a waist band, worn here, here & here. Never been identified. The jacket was beautifully matched with a reused skirt from Rachel Gilbert. Mary impressed the world wearing the skirt for the first time when she covered Vogue Australia in 2016, here. She had accessorized her outfit with large two-tone earrings from Jewlscph, a Orit Elhanati necklace in gold and a Cartier bracelet. Such as her old satin clutch from Bottega Veneta. Because of you I have now seen a picture of her shoes. Differently seems like they are from Gianvito Rossi, but I wonder whether they are patent or suede? Let me know what you think. That simple ponytail and natural make-up completed one good looking outfit with perfection.

The first New Year reception

Wednesday, January 3rd

Around noon on Wednesday, the Crown Prince couple attended the first New Year reception. The reception took place at Christiansborg castle in Copenhagen. It was hosted by the Queen, who also attended. Representatives from the diplomacy were invited to the reception. All of them were greeted by the royal family with a handshake after a speech was given. It is a tradition that goes way back in time. Little has changed. Before the Crown Prince couple and Queen Margrethe attended the reception at Christiansborg castle, they attended another reception. This took place at Amalienborg palace just like the New Year Banquet, here. Representatives from Supreme Court judges, The Royal Corps of Life and the Regiment Officer Corps were gathered to met the royal members.

Second best in January is to see what Mary is wearing for the New year receptions. Don't you think? Often we see her in something reused. The same thing happened this year. Right before the Queen arrived, Mary showed up with her husband wearing her reused Lasse Spangenberg Copenhagen gown and matching cape. We saw the same combination last year at a similar event, here. As with the event, little has changed. This year she embraced the style by wearing the dress with loose curly hair, ruby earrings, a golden Orit Elhanti necklace, a Cartier bracelet and diamond rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Perfectly, both clutch and pumps matched the floor-length gown. The clutch is from Hugo Boss and the pumps Gianvito Rossi. I am pretty sure the ruby earrings were worn with a dark, drop pendant. Something I do not think we have seen before. Could be similar to this pendant, here. Anything special you noticed about yesterdays outfit? I did. I noticed beautiful decorations on the shoulder. Those we haven't seen before, because last time it was only worn with the cape.

New Year's banquet

Monday, January 1st

We have now welcomed a new year with friends and family. On January 1st it was time for the Danish royal family to celebrated the beginning of a new year with a banquet. The biggest and finest celebration of them all. Three dinners take place during the first week of January. The New Year banquet took place at Amalienborg palace in Copenhagen, at 7:30 pm. local time. Representatives from the Danish Parliament and members of business in Denmark were invited to attend the banquet. All arrived before the royal family, beautifully dressed in gala dresses and uniforms. Shortly before 7:30 Prince Joachim and Princess Marie arrived, followed by the Crown Prince couple and last the Queen -who attended the banquet on her own for the first time. They all seemed to look forward to a prestigious evening. Pictures have been shared of the beautifully decorated room where the dinner was taking place, here. With such location, any evening would be splendid.

For an evening like this, my eye are on the royal women's dresses. Can't help myself. I'm all excited. Same thing every year. I'm glued to the television not to miss a single detail. As always, all three women were magnificent in each their personal gown. Princess Marie impressed the world in an ivory, embellished gown. I have been told her dress is a reuse. The same goes with Queen Margrethe's dark green, lace gown and emerald green parure. And then Crown Prince Frederik and his wife Crown Princess Mary arrived. She stepped out of the car wearing a brand new, bright red evening gown. For once in my life I was right to way she would wear a new dress. I'm always wrong. Not this time. Mary really dazzled like a Hollywood star wearing a custom-made gown by Søren Le Schmidt. It has been confirmed. Her new dress features the most incredible, yet minimalistic, details. Just take a look at the neckline. I'm truly amazed by its almost sculptured shape. Can I hear you first thoughts? She had chosen to wear the ruby parure, a silver clutch from J. Furmani and red satin pumps. Personally, I am pretty sure she was wearing new pumps from Gianvito Rossi. But it could also be a reused pair from Rupert Sanderson. Let me now what you think.
