Crown Prince Frederik & Crown Princess Mary during the first day of the Belgium state visit

What we have all been waiting for; for the belgian King Philippe and Queen Mathilde to arrive to Copenhagen on occasion of an official state visit. The King and Queen will stay in Denmark from March 28-30th, staying at Amalienborg. Queen Margrethe, the Crown Prince couple, Prince Joachim and his wife Princess Marie were the ones welcoming the belgian King and Queen when they arrived by plain. You can watch the arrival in the video down below. The official welcoming ceremony took place an hour later at Amalienborg, Copenhagen. The visit aims to, among others, strengthen the bond between Belgium and Denmark which is also why the Belgium King and Queen are accompanied by seven ministers and a business delegation including 37 different belgian companies. On their first day in Denmark, King Philippe and his beautiful wife Queen Mathilde also met with the Danish Prime Minister, Lars Løkke Rasmussen and wife the Parliamentary Chairman Pia Kjærsgaard. These two meeting's was followed by a boat trip in Copenhagen harbor along with the Crown Prince couple -and that was just a lovely sight!

Magnificent Mary! Before talking more about the Crown Princess, I really want to make a compliment on the two other women: Queen Mathilde and Danish Princess Marie. Both looked absolutely splendid in each their spring cloured coat. Don't know if Mathilde and Mary talked before the arrival (don't think so) but I'm pretty impressed how well their clothes matched both when it comes to colour and shape. No doubt that we have some really well-dressed royal women in the world and three of them where gathered at once. From Lurdes I learned who created Mary's new coat; Claes Iversen did. Please, do me a favor and take a second looking at all the wonderful details. They are incredible! Especially how it closes at front. A really, really beautiful new coat. But the coat is not the only new thing we got to see, because she also wore a new Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen brooch and grey (or beige) hat from Jane Taylor. Love how she matched everything with nude accessories -gloves, clutch (Hugo Boss) and pumps which are form Gianvito Rossi. As the new brooch, her diamond earrings are from  Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. What else to say than "magnificent Mary"?

Crown Prince Frederik & Crown Princess Mary attending gala dinner at Christiansborg castle

After a long day, it all ended with one big gala dinner taking place at Christiansborg Palace, Copenhagen, where Queen Margrethe hosted the dinner. The arrival to Christiansborg, as well as when Queen Margrethe and King Philippe each gave a speech, was broadcasted live on Danish television. Unfortunately, I had to spend time with something else and I missed it all. I'm sure you are able to find it, or at least some of it, online. Sure it was a great entry as always. From what I have seen, it differently was! A wonderful menu was served for the many special invited guests who attended the spectacular gala dinner where several royal family members also attended. From the Danish royal family we have: Queen Margrethe, Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary, Prince Joachim, Princess Marie and Princess Benedikte. And of course King Philippe and Queen Mathilde from Belgium.

Early in the morning we were introduced to three wonderful outfit when Mary and Marie, along with their husband's and Queen Margrethe, attended the welcoming ceremony when the King and Queen of Belgium arrived to Denmark. At the evening event we saw even more magnificent outfit. Gala dinner means floor-length gowns and the finest jewellery -and that is what we got to see. Queen Mathilde was in a really beautiful (and brave) orange lace gown and Queen Margrethe in a turquoise lace gown. Meanwhile, Mary and Princess Marie were both dressed in golden evening gowns! The Crown Princess wore her golden dream made by Jesper Høvring, previously worn at the grand New Year banquet this year, here. Simply can't get enough of that dress. This time she has chosen to wear the stunning rudy parure from Queen Ingrid. She wore wore tiara, necklace, bracelet and that ring she later on have added to the parure. On the other arm, we have her golden Cartier bracelet. Well, I don't know what you have to say but I am impressed and a happy royalist!

100 years anniversary of Copenhagen Business School

Friday, March 24th
Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended a gala dinner on occasion of the 100 years anniversary celebration of Copenhagen Business School. The dinner took place at Frederiksberg, Copenhagen.

It was around dinner time that Crown Prince Frederik and his lovely wife, Crown Princess Mary, arrived to Frederiksberg where they were about to attend a gala dinner. As every other gala dinner this was something a little more special than other events; because CBD (Copenhagen Business School) celebrated their 100 years anniversary in Copenhagen. Congratulation! The Crown Prince couple attended as guests of honor. The couple were warmly welcomed when they arrived by CEO of Danish Industry Karsten Dybvad and Lector of CBS Per Holten-Andersen. Both the Crown Prince couple and the welcoming committee were in a splendid mood at the evening event. Along with the two royal members, over 600 other guests were also invited. From everything I read; it was a really good evening!

At first I was sure old pictures were used but I was wrong. Or just partly wrong because Mary reused an (almost) complete outfit. It goes back to when the couple visited Saudi Arabia last year, here. Think most of us is just as amazed this time by her beauty! All over again Mary was dressed in a black blouse featuring long sleeves and lace at front and a watercoloured maxi skirt in the most incredible colours.

At the time she wore this outfit the first time, I was not able to identify neither blouse or skirt. Now it has been suggested that the blouse could be from Dolce & Gabbana. Think there is a good chance the right one has been found. The colorful skirt was identified as PLEIN SUD by Kate.

As seen before, she accessorized her look with rather large aquamarine drop earrings from Annikat, a Cartier bracelet and that pink Carlend Copenhagen clutch! Think I also see a couple of other bracelets but I am not able to ID them, other than I'm pretty sure one of them match the earrings in aquamarine blue. The only thing she changed is the shoes. At the anniversary celebration of Copenhagen Business School at Frederiksberg, Mary stunned wearing her black mesh pumps from Gianvito Rossi. With curly hair and pink soft lips I am still in love with this magnificent evening outfit.

State council dinner at Amalienborg

Wednesday, March 23rd

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended the state council dinner at Christian VIIs Palace, Amalienborg, hosted by the Queen.

Members of the Danish Parliament were invited to a State council dinner taking place at Christian VIIs Palace at Amalienborg. This very special dinner was hosted by Queen Margrethe. I have been waiting with great excitement, just to find this one single picture (as you see below). At least we got one. I had hoped to get a few pictures of the Queen and Crown Prince couple before the dinner was about to take place. That didn't happened. I guess the three royal family members welcomed all the special invited guest when they arrived to Amalieborg, having already 'arrived'. As you know; both Queen Margrethe (and her husband Prince Henrik of course) and the Crown Prince couple lives in each their palace at Amalienborg - Frederik and Mary at Frederik VIIIs Palace and the Queen and Prince Henrik at Christian IXs Palace during the winter. Only a couple of hours before the dinner was about to begin, the royal family shared a photo showing the most beautiful decorated table with chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, here. I wouldn't mind enjoy my evening surrounded by golden wall decorations, chandeliers, silver cutlery and a royal member next to me. I am allowed to dream, right?

The lack of pictures and with this as the only one from the state council dinner; I have a hard time commenting on what the Crown Princess was wearing during the evening. Still, we get a glimpse of her. At your right, sitting almost in the middle of the long table. This is just enough to tell what evening gown Mary wore. Her floor-length gown from Temperley London, a dress we have seen at one previous occasion before last night. It was at a dinner, also hosted at Queen Margrethe, taking place at Christiansborg castle for representatives from Danish art and culture, here. At the dinner in 2016, I clearly remember that many of you was thrilled when she showed up in this gown. So was I and I think it is absolutely amazing there is a chance we get to see her in again one day. Pretty sure her hair is in a updo. The Queen wore a wonderful bright red evening gown featuring what to me looks like a lace top.

The funeral of Prince Richard

Tuesday, March 21st

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended the funeral of Prince Richard in Evangelische Stadtkirche Bad Berleburg, Germany.

Around 9:00 am. local time, Prince Richard's coffin was moved from the castle chapel to the Evangelische Stadtkirche where the official funeral ceremony took place five hours later.

Here, over 400 people attended the funeral of Prince Richard, who pasted away on March 13th, on Tuesday taking place in Berlebrug, Germany. Royal family members from both Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Spain, the Netherlands etc. had found their way to the Evangelische Stadtkirche Bad Berleburg. All to show Prince Richard one the last honor. From Denmark attended Queen Margrethe, Prince Henrik, the Crown Prince couple, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie. The third sister of Margrethe and Benedike, Queen Anne-Marie and her husband attended the funeral.

A funeral is always a hard thing and I'm sure the family the devastated to have lost a dear and beloved family member. From what I hear Prince Richard was a very beloved man, both in his family, among friends and by the people in public. The royal family shared a gallery from very special moments from Prince Richard's life, from when he and Princess Benedikte married in 1968 till both his daughters got married, here. I am sure both friends and family are there to support each other.

My condolences goes to friends and family who have just lost a friend, father, grandfather and of course a beloved husband. Rest in piece Prince Richard.

The world premiere of Jaha’s Promise

Thursday, March 16th

Crown Princess Mary attended the world premiere of the international documentary Jaha's Promise at Grand Theatre, Copenhagen.

As one of the most prominent key note speakers of girls and women's right and health, this was the perfect event for the Crown Princess to attend. For many year Mary has been committed to improve rights and health solutions for girls and women all over the world. Then, on Thursday, she attended the world premiere of the international documentary Jaha's Promise at Grand Theatre in Copenhagen. The documentary deals with topics as circumcision and child marriages another area Mary has worked with on several occasions. Jaha Dukureh, another leading figure on this topic, also attended the premiere along with her daughter, such as the documentary's instructor did. The two women have met before on a previous occasions. Mary watch the documentary next to Jaha and her daughter.

Important events takes powerful outfit. At the international world premiere, Mary was dressed in a plain black suit. Long tight trousers and a rather long Zara blazer featuring some incredibly interesting seams. This new black blazer has been identified by Kate. At first I was not even sure if it was new or one of her old blazer. But now when it has been found at Zara it is clear that it's new. Another piece that is differently new, worn at the premiere, is the lace blouse underneath. The first designer that came to me was Heartmade Julie Fagerholt and now it has been found from their spring/summer 2014 collection, here. So far I haven't been able to track down a stock picture of the blouse and I really hope one of you are able to help me. I really look forward to hear about your findings! She accessorized her classy business look with black pearl earrings and a matching ring from Dulong Fine Jewelry. The grey Quidam clutch was a great way to make sure that everything about her outfit isn't just black -the same goes with the lace blouse. Ever though about the fact that Mary always wears blouses as this one, when she is wearing suits? Last but not least, she wore her black pointed SAND Copenhagen pumps.

The Brain Awareness Week 2017

Monday, March 13th

Crown Princess Mary attended the opening of The Brain Awareness Week 2017 held each year in week 11. The Brain Awareness Week focuses on the brain, brain diseases and brain research.

Crown Princess Mary arrived, accompanied by her lady-in-waiting, at Copenhagen University to attend the annual opening of The Brain Awareness Week 2017. Mary has attended the event several times before which, by the way, is always held in week 11. The brain awareness week aim to inform about the brain, brain diseases and brain research. It is as patron of Hjernesagen and Hjerneskadeforeningen that Mary attended the opening. Professor Leif Østergaard gave a lecture entitled The Fantastic Brain which obviously caught the Crown Princess' attention who listened with great interest, from first raw, during the lecture. From what I see Mary was in a splendid mood during the opening ceremony of this year's Brain Awareness Week. Hopefully she learned something new, useful in her future work.

Lately we have seen quite many new pieces; both clothing's and accessories. Actually it is kinda nice to see something reused again. Everything about her outfit from the opening of the Brain Awareness Week 2017 on Monday, are all reused -clothes as well as accessories. Each day the weather is getting better and better. We even see the sun now and then. Despite that, Mary had chosen an almost plain black outfit. And really the weather is not ready for pastel colours quite yet. But very soon I hope we will see her in light and bright colours and patterns again. As told before, everything about Mary's outfit are reused. I have never been able to find out where the jacket is from, as the only piece worn at the opening. She embraced the style by wearing her printed Hugo Boss pencil skirt, here, and black pointed SAND Copenhagen (and not L.K. Bennett) pumps as well as the black Carlend Copenhagen clutch. The jacket was belted with a Céline belt. These thin belts are iconic when talking about the Crown Princess' style. As the rest of the outfit, she only wore a pair of white pearl earrings and a matching ring made by Dulong Fine Jewelry. There is really no bad time for white pearl jewellery. Absolutely adore her 70s curly hairstyle. Magnificent look!

Meeting with the Maternity Foundation & ICRW

Friday, March 10th

Crown Princess Mary met with the Maternity Foundation and the International Center for Research on Women (ICRW) at Frederik VIIIs Palace, Amalienborg.

Unofficially the Crown Princess had set a up a meeting with the Maternity Foundation who are working to improve that more mothers and newborns have access to a safe childbirth and pregnancy. For several year's Mary has been committed to improve healthcare solutions and right's for girl's, women, mothers and newborns. Mary met with three representatives from the foundation. During the meeting the foundation's ongoing projects, as well as new projects and collaborations, were discussed. Afterwards the Crown Princess met with Sarah Kambou who is the president of the International Center for Research on Women or abbreviated to ICRW. Sarah told Mary (which by the way has been a ICRW leadership council member since 2016) about research on global challenges dealing with among others girls and women's equality across the globe.

Today, Mary met four strong (and powerful) women in a meeting room at Frederik VIIIs Palace. Presentable as usual she was dressed in her checkered, long sleeved blouse fitted with a thin twisted snake belt. It is a combination we have seen before. But an outfit like this I never get tired of. It really never outdate -well in my opinion it doesn't. A while ago a friend share an idea when it comes to identifying her blouse and I am pretty sure she has found the right designer, Lanvin. Still, non of us have been able to find the same model as Mary is wearing. It's kind a frustrating because the checkered print is popping up everywhere; on other blouses, dresses, jacket... etc. But no one like Mary's. Is anyone able to help us? She wore the same blouse, or maybe it is more a kimono (?), when she was interviewed by the newspaper Berlingske in 2016 on her commitment to improve living conditions for women and girls, here. A very strong interview and powerful pictures of her. Well, enough about that. She embrace the chic workwear style with a pair of reused Figaros Bryllup earrings.

The International Women's Day 2017

Wednesday, March 8th
Crown Princess Mary attended the celebration of The International Women's Day at the music house VEGA in Copenhagen.

The International Women's Day 2017 was celebrated by KVINFO at the music house VEGA in Copenhagen with several hundred special invited guest and Crown Princess Mary as guest of honor. Working hard for among others gender equality and improved healthcare and rights for girl's and women around the world, it is obviously she will participate in the event at VEGA. Mary arrived a few minutes past 7:00 pm local time with a huge smile on her face. It is not the first time she attend the celebration of the International Women's Day. In 2016 she gave the opening speech, after which she subsequently attended the show, here. This year CEO of KVINFO Szuanne Moll was the one to give the opening speech because a big show was about to begin. All kind of Danish artists entertained during the evening. Now there is only left to say; a delayed 'Happy international women's day' everybody!

Somehow I clearly remember what Mary wore at last years event at VEGA in Copenhagen; an embellished Prada jacket and black trousers. Nothing something that impressed me more than usual. But somehow I still remember it as if it was yesterday. The outfit she wore at last night's event isn't something I will forget quickly either! Probably one of the most commented outfit's these past few days. Mary wearing black leather trousers. Though it looks absolutely smashing, it's not the first time but the third time. Previously it has only been at private occasions, so I'm amazed to see her wear them on a 'public occasion'. She embraced a chic look by wearing a brand new embroidered jacket from ZARA which unfortunately is out of stock and some kind of sky blue silk blouse. I would really like to see what she is wearing underneath that jacket, but she didn't take it off. Her outfit was accessorized with a pair of rather large diamond earrings, knee boots from Prada and what I think is a new orange bag. I can't tell you who was able to identify it but they did an amazing job! It was found at Jérôme Dreyfuss. Funny thing, I've always hated orange on clothes and thing bags and shoes often looks cheap in orange. But lately I have come to love orange pretty much. Mainly as nail polish. I'm even a bigger fan now when Mary has a orange crossbody bag.
