Day 2. Official visit to Egypt

November 02, 2025

Visit at the pyramids in Giza

The Queen arrived in Giza yesterday to atten the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum.

First thing in the morning on her second day in Egypt, Mary enjoyed the sight of the Giza pyramids. She was even given the chance to see the inside of The Great Pyramid of Giza. Literally, she touch thousands of years of history with her hands. What a morning!

Mary embraced the most casual outfit. She matched a soft blue button-down with slim beige trousers and a shawl. The blouse has been identified as a new one from POLO Ralph Lauren. Very similar t another one of her blue denim shirts.

A closer look revealed that she styled the outfit with a reused brown leather belt from BOSS and her Jerome Dreyfuss phone pouch.

Visit at the Grand Egyptian Museum

Having visited the grand pyramids she continued her tour at the Grand Egyptian Museum. She was accompanied by Minister of Foregine Affairs Lars Løkke Rasmussen.

They were introduced to meet the famous Tutankhamun's coffin and golden death mask. It must have been treasured moment in her life.

Before going to the Grand Egyptian Museum to met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs Lars Løkke Rasmussen, Mary made a quick change. She was wearing a brand new blouse and matching green trousers from Zimmermann. Tell me it dosen't look comfortable. Love the loose fit and how she accessorized it with different textures like the brown leather belt from Max Mara.

The golden earrings are beloved ones from Dulong Fine Jewelry and the necklace is created by the talented Rebekka Notkin. She also mastered her golden bangle. Mary's two other bracelets are from Dulong Fine Jewelry.

Meeting the President of Egypt

Before she was headed home to Copenhagen Mary met one last time with the President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah Al Sisi at the presidential palace in Cairo. Lars Løkke Rasmussen also had the opportunity to greet the President for his hospitality.

Mary wore a beautiful bordeaux outfit when meeting with the President at the presidential palace. She had chosen a most beloved Jesper Høvring blouse and paired it with a stunning floral printed maxi skirt. It has yet not been identified. Maybe one day I am able to tell where it is from.

The cool leather belt was found not that long ago at & Other Stories. The smashing golden earrings are from Rebekka Notkin. It perfectly matched her necklace as from the designer and collection. Mary also styled her look with a custom-made ring from Dulong Fine Jewelry.

For the first time today we have a photo showing her entire body. It makes it possible for me to tell that she wore Gianvito Rossi pumps.

Danish Championships in dressage

May 24, 2025

Queen Mary was accompanied by a good old friend, Helle Trolle, when attending the Danish dressage championship at Randbøl Dressage Academy.

The event in Randbøl is also part of Princess Benedikte's calendar. She is present on May 24-25th.

Mary looked super cool at the event in Randbøl! A first I thought she was wearing a reused denim shirt and jeans but it turns out that she was in fact wearing a brand new 7 For All Mankind jumpsuit. Do we like that? - I do. Think it is a smashing thing to wear at such an event. Perfectly matched with an old black Arma coat and suede boots.

She embraced the denim look with a fantastic new suede khaki bag from Jérôme Dreyfuss and a fine blue scarf. I think the scarf is new too. The detailing is great! Her glasses are rather new ones from Gucci.

A closer look reveal her wearing golden Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings, as well as a couple of rings. I am still very interested in knowing more about the silver ring on her left hand.

The International Women's Day 2017

Wednesday, March 8th
Crown Princess Mary attended the celebration of The International Women's Day at the music house VEGA in Copenhagen.

The International Women's Day 2017 was celebrated by KVINFO at the music house VEGA in Copenhagen with several hundred special invited guest and Crown Princess Mary as guest of honor. Working hard for among others gender equality and improved healthcare and rights for girl's and women around the world, it is obviously she will participate in the event at VEGA. Mary arrived a few minutes past 7:00 pm local time with a huge smile on her face. It is not the first time she attend the celebration of the International Women's Day. In 2016 she gave the opening speech, after which she subsequently attended the show, here. This year CEO of KVINFO Szuanne Moll was the one to give the opening speech because a big show was about to begin. All kind of Danish artists entertained during the evening. Now there is only left to say; a delayed 'Happy international women's day' everybody!

Somehow I clearly remember what Mary wore at last years event at VEGA in Copenhagen; an embellished Prada jacket and black trousers. Nothing something that impressed me more than usual. But somehow I still remember it as if it was yesterday. The outfit she wore at last night's event isn't something I will forget quickly either! Probably one of the most commented outfit's these past few days. Mary wearing black leather trousers. Though it looks absolutely smashing, it's not the first time but the third time. Previously it has only been at private occasions, so I'm amazed to see her wear them on a 'public occasion'. She embraced a chic look by wearing a brand new embroidered jacket from ZARA which unfortunately is out of stock and some kind of sky blue silk blouse. I would really like to see what she is wearing underneath that jacket, but she didn't take it off. Her outfit was accessorized with a pair of rather large diamond earrings, knee boots from Prada and what I think is a new orange bag. I can't tell you who was able to identify it but they did an amazing job! It was found at Jérôme Dreyfuss. Funny thing, I've always hated orange on clothes and thing bags and shoes often looks cheap in orange. But lately I have come to love orange pretty much. Mainly as nail polish. I'm even a bigger fan now when Mary has a orange crossbody bag.

Charity performance in Bellahøj

Thursday, September 8th

Crown Princess Mary attended, as patron, a charity performance in Bellahøj to support the Kidney Association.

This event is one of those that turn out to be a more private event. Am I the only one with this thought? The way Crown Princess Mary interacted with the children and was all relaxed. Even her outfit supports my claim. We will go back to that a little later.

Surrounded by elephants, clowns and kids everywhere the Crown Princess atteneded a charity performance to support the Kidney Association, here, taking place at Circus Danneborg in Bellahøj. She took part of the event as patron of the association. From every picture I have seen from she really seems to enjoy herself. Such as the kids did. With lots of fun, colourful costumes and impressive tricks; it was all about the children. To give all of them a memorable day. For sure I am not the only one who have seen the incredibly sweet photos of Crown Princess Mary and the three-year-old feeding an elephants, right? Does not get any better.

I really adore Mary's casual look when visiting the circus in Bellahøj. What a great idea to match a bell-shaped blouse with fitted trousers, which by the way are a reused pair from Hugo Boss. If I am correct; Mary share these with Queen Letizia of Spain. The textures is just great. She embraced the old trousers with a brand new blouse. You noticed that, right? Trying to identify this new piece I came across both ZARA and Ganni - as one of you suggested. Non of them worked. Thanks to Kate we now know that her new blouse are from Étoile Isabel Marant. It features some incredible details: the laser cut pattern, the neckline and cuffs. A really lovely blouse. Can not wait to see it again. Maybe with a pencil skirt?

To match the outfit she had chosen to wear blue accessories. The blue suede wedges have troubled me for years. I have come to the conclusion that L.K. Bennet designed them. The bluish clutch is from Jerome Dreyfuss. Very pleased to see this again, here. Blue looks just great with the trousers and new white blouse. Other than this Mary embraced the style with several bracelets from, among others, Dulong Fine Jewelry and Cartier. An all good-looking Crown Princess in Bellahøj.

The Carlsberg Foundation Research Awards 2013

September, 17

Crown Princess Mary handed over the Carlsberg Foundation Research Award at Glyptoteket in Copenhagen.

Like a blue star Mary shone in her brand new blue suit! When she arrived to Glyptoteket I fully understand why she caught everyone's attention. Not only is it unusual to see her in such a bright colour -blue isn't that unusual- and second it really takes a woman with a lot of confidence to wear a matching set. Her look give me the sense of a 70s casual and hippie silhouette. With this I do not mean Mary looks like a relaxed hippie but the blouse features wide sleeves and the model is a bit 'loose' which gives her the casual look. Because she's wearing the same colour from head to toe it makes her seems longer and the slim trousers makes her legs longer and thinner. The electric blue colour next to her skin tone and dark brown hair colour is really a great match. In this modern runway set Mary made my day! I had some help with this one, thanks to the owner of Tesouras & Tiaras, Lurdes, it has been identified as Gucci (RTW Spring/Summer 2013). Makes it even better because Gucci isn't a brand we see wear that often. Edgy, unexpected and great! The three words I would use to describe her outfit.

When she's somewhere on a job, she always have a special glow which makes her so wonderful. I have had the chance to see her once, hopefully I'll one day get the chance again, and you just know when Mary has entered the room. Her smile, personality and this glow (royal magic stardust almost surround her). I'm not sure how this is even possible for one person to contain that much elegance. Mar can. Her laid-back and normal attitude makes her one of us. I understand why people almost fall in love with her personality because she almost capture you, a fascination you can't control. Well, before I get too sentimental -I do not hope you think I'm too crazy- I think we should talk about accessories. Are you ready for that?

She wore three exclusive and expensive brands, everything from shoes to jewellery. As I wrote in the beginning; to wear the same colour from head to toe makes her look taller, the same effect does a long necklace have. Mary had chosen a long, silver necklace from Piaget featuring two diamond tube, round pendants. A really exclusive necklace only a few people will ever get their eyes on. I would be afraid the store demanded payment for a single look at it! Just kidding. To match this wauw-factor piece of jewelry she wore silver metallic Prada pumps which has their own WAUW-factor! Don't they? And a pair of Marianne Dulong earrings. I wouldn't mind wearing them. This was not enough for her so she added a Jerome Dreyfuss clutch. I'm not a fan of the mix of materials but again Mary nailed it!

Mary surprises me every times I see her. Her sense of style is magnificent! Her elegance give her everything she need and with her sparkling personality she can wear almost any piece of clothes, any piece of jewellery and shoes. The important thing is that you wear the clothes and not the other way around. Almost at every event she is driven by a crown-car to the door and there is only a few steps to the where she needs to be. Therefor I love to see her walk a few more steps, just to see how she walks and how she acts when she's public. It also give a sense of how the clothes fit her and my heart was beating heavily when I saw the first picture of her in this dreamy pastel blue Baum und Pferdgarten dress! My thanks goes to Kate who identified the new 100 % silk dress. I'm fallen in love with the short inner dress and the long shear without. The colour reminds me of the ocean and ice-cream.

If you ask me, this dress gives its owner so many options and I love the accessories Mary has chosen. - simple but interesting. The new long diamond necklace from Piaget makes her upper body look longer and without transferring attention from the blue wonder, the Piaget necklace came to its right with this dress. From my over all favourite jewellery collection, she wore earrings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen's Winter Frost collection. A collection made to impress! Jérôme Dreyfuss is the designer of her pretty colourful clutch and even though her shoes were printed in other colours it worked so good.

When we talk about shoes; aren't her new heeled sandals amazing?! I can't stop staring. Her heeled sandals are one of these things I just need to find. Sometimes when Mary wear a new piece of clothes etc. I just know when there is something I need to find. It comes like an obsession to me. When I start a search like this, I try all her usual shoe designers - that's almost obvious. But this time it wasn't that easy because she added a new shoes designer to her collection. The designer is Brazilian Alexandre Birman. What I hope now is that she'll wear them again!
