Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary during their day in Toronto
We are now on the second day and already half way through the official state visit to Canada. Today was just great and I really enjoyed seeing the couple together. Most of today they also spend in each others company. The day started with the opening of Danish Business Delegation in Canada. Couple of hours later, Frederik and Mary attended the award ceremony of HRH Prince Henrik's medal which was handed over to the winner by the Crown Prince himself. Their second day in Toronto mostly focused on topics like healthcare and fashion, all though these two things has not much in common. For example, Around noon Mary visited the Danish Style -Sneak Peak 2015. Here she was presented to several jewellery, clothes and shoe companies, which were more than delighted to show Mary their designs. The royal couple also payed a visit to the Art Gallery of Ontario, such as the Crown Prince visited the Canadian and Danish Design Collaboration.

At their second day, now in Toronto, Mary showed up in a navy blue outfit were most of it are reused. The figure hugging dress is from the Danish brand SAND Copenhagen (Fall 2012) such as the short navy blue jacket. Really a beautiful colour next to her fair skin and brownish hair colour. On her right arm, she was wearing a fantastic black pearl bracelet made by the talented Marianne Dulong. Right next to it, we have the gold Shamballa Jewels bracelet featuring a pink diamond ball. It is and looks very expensive. One thing made me completely thrilled, the silver Georg Jensen watch featuring shiny diamonds! I know I will never be able to pay that myself, but a girl is allowed to dream. So far we have only seen her wear it on state visits like these, never on an occasion in Denmark. Wonder why? She also wore some other jewellery from among others Marianne Dulong, Hartmanns and Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. The last time Mary wore these navy blue suede pumps, I tried to make it clear that I was mistaken when I assumed they are from Gianvito Rossi. I started to question it when I was not able to find the right model. Now, after quite some time, I know I was wrong about Rossi. In fact her pumps are from Pura Lopez. She beautifully embraced the style by wearing her grey Quidam clutch which has finally been identified once and for all. What makes this outfit even more magnificent is her hairstyle, isn't that absolutely stunning?!

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attending dinner
A couple of hours after the Crown Prince couple had their last event attending the presentation of Danish Active Houses, it was time for dinner which took place in the most beautiful decorated rooms at the Royal Ontario Museum. Everyone invited to the dinner, held on occasion of the Danish Royal couple's state visit in Canada, were warmly welcomed by Frederik and Mary at the arrival. The couple were also kindly welcomed when they arrived to the Royal Ontario Museum. Only a few pictures have been published from the dinner. I think it took place more or less behind closed doors, which is why the press weren't allowed during the dinner. Makes great sense to me. I hope they all enjoyed the evening with great food and good entertainment.

I really love that Mary had chosen to wear anything else than a little black dress. They are indeed appropriate, but can also be a bit boring when you know Mary. Like a true movie star, Mary was wearing her YDE Copenhagen creation made of the most incredible fabric. And yes, the identity of the dress has been confirmed. Her beautiful hairstyle, gave us the opportunity to get a very good view of the drop earrings featuring two colour stones and diamonds. We first saw them when the couple visited Poland. At that time I was so sure they came from Jewlscph, but that has been proven to be wrong. I have not always been a huge fan of two colour earrings, but I love the way these matched the rest of the outfit. Mary embrace the style with a yellow Yves Saint Laurent clutch and her golden Shamballa Jewels bracelet. When I noticed the shoes I was really surprised to see that she wore glitter leopard pumps from Gianvito Rossi (pre AW12). Smashing detail! Wauw. This is way better than any little black dress.
