The Crown Princess arrived to Kildeskovhallen in Copenhagen in a great spirt. She attended the launch of a new project called Everyone Should Learn How to Swim. The project is organized by the Danish Swimming Federation which the Crown Princess is patron for, to make sure everyone can swim. She was warmly welcomed with a bouquet of flowers and a few handshakes. As guest of honor Mary gave the opening speech before the attending children showed their tricks in the water. In her speech she gave the impression of how it is important for people to learn how to swim. During the couple of hours she visited Kildeskovhallen she took plenty of time talking to as many children as possible. They told her how they learn to swim and why they loved spending time in the water. And it really is a pleasure watching her along with the kids.

Taking a look at what she wore at the launching. Then we have a wonderful spring outfit right there! She paired a white blouse with a pair of black trousers and loafers. A stylish look you can create in 5 minutes. The new white peplum has been identified by Kate as Prada. I do not what what you think of peplum blouses but they do great for all sizes, shapes and styles. No matter what time a year they do great. Peplum blouses can be worn both during day and evening. And if you are more to dresses, then that is also possible. Peplum's are just flattering. End of story. Another piece I have been able to find are those dusty grey loafers. I managed to identify them as Rêve. She accessorized her outfit by wearing a few bracelets from among others Marianne Dulong, a couple of Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen diamond rings, a golden Cartier watch and then of course that pastel colour Marianne Dulong earrings. If you look at the pictures you also see yet another golden piece of jewellery -a golden bracelet. I am sure we have never seen it before and unfortunately I have no idea where to find it. Hair and makeup were flawless al always!

Grønningen's 100th anniversary exhibition

Saturday, March 7th

Crown Princess Mary attended the opening of Grønningen's 100th anniversary exhibition in Copenhagen.

It was a big day for Grønningen in Copenhagen when the Crown Princess attended the 100th anniversary exhibition. Grønningen is an art museum representing Danish artists since 1915. This was about to be celebrated with a special guest of honor. The museum's 40 members as well as a few artists were also invited to attend the anniversary, as well as Minister of Culture Marianne Jelved and CEO of Glyptoteket Flemming Friborg. Both of them gave each their speech at the opening. Afterwards, Mary and the other special invited guests had plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful pieces of art on the walls. I am not a painting fan but these really impressed my with all its colours and stunning motifs.

Mary also really also impressed me with what she was wearing at the opening of the anniversary exhibition. Different shades of blue! She both wore brand new pieces and some reused ones we haven't seen her wear for years. When she arrived to the exhibition she wore her reversible coat from Massimo Dutti featuring large pockets. The jacket has a navy blue coloured side and one checkered –we have seen both sides at two different occasions. About the blouse, then I am sure we have seen it before but I can't remember when nor who designed it. Do you remember it? No doubt that your trained eye noticed that pencil skirt as the first thing. The first designer that came to me, seemed to be right where to find it. At JOSEPH. Whether or nor you like it, then it's the latest trend and Mary makes it work perfectly. The navy suede pumps she has worn several times at different occasions, lots of people have talked about who the designer is – Alexander McQueen, Gianvito Rossi etc. But suddenly a new designer appeared, Pura Lopez, and by mail they confirmed that she is in fact wearing one of their models. She also carried one of her favourite clutches from Quidam in a matching colour which she has in grey, black and blue. You may remember that I started this post by claiming that she also was wearing something reused -that is the necklace. Actually she wore it the day her second child, Princess Isabella was christened in 2007, here. Now I managed to identify it as Marianne Dulong. The earrings are also new but I haven't been able to track them down. So, if you have any ideas, please let me know.

The world's biggest conference on women, Women Deliver, is coming to Denmark! This is just the greatest news in a really long time. Women Deliver aim to improve girls and women's right, opportunities, well-being, health and general living standards around the world. The Crown Princess and Minister of Trade and Development Mogens Jensen are the head of the event when it is taking place in May in Copenhagen. When she arrived to attend the first meeting about the conference, where Mogens Jensen also attended, Mary was really in a great mood and I truly understand why. Women Deliver is the biggest women’s conference in the world and now it’s coming to Denmark. So, even if we are a small country, we are noticed out there in the big world. No doubt that Mary takes part in this. Finally, her commitment is now being approved.

Black as colour may be the most worn colour in Scandinavia including Denmark. Danes just love black. Mary also fancy wearing black clothes and accessories but not entirely. Some kind of colourful piece always finds its way to her outfit. So did it this time. At the meeting Mary embrace a work-wear-style by wearing a black Hugo Boss blouse, a checkered burgundy pencil skirt and black SAND Copenhagen pumps. At the arrival she also wore her black Prada coat. About the new skirt; then I haven't found anything similar yet. Have you? I have Dolce & Gabbana in mind but that is really just a wild guess. She embrace the style by wearing black pearl earrings and a ring from Marianne Dulong as seen when Mary attended the Rare Diseases Day 2015, here. Keeping track on time Mary was wearing her golden Cartier watch. Last but not least we have that brand new necklace featuring small black pearls such as a couple of Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen diamond rings. Simply, dressed to impress! On March 2nd she attended the Language Conference, here, where she introduced us to a brand new Prada tote bag; the exact same piece we got to see once again!

Conference on language

Monday, March 2nd

Crown Princess Mary attended, as patron of the Mary Foundation, the Language Conference at the Black Diamond in Copenhagen.

It was on occasion of the Language Conference that the Crown Princess arrived to the Black Diamond in Copenhagen. She attended as patron of the Mary Foundation who have been involved in the planning of this conference along with University of Aalborg. The conference aim to promote the importance of children's language and the importance of improving children's language skills in the age from 0-6 years old. It has been proven that focus on language in an early age will help us further in life. Already working with projects for children in that age, the Mary Foundation is the perfect partner to collaborate with. The Crown Princess attended the conference along with CEO of the Mary Foundation Helle Østergaard, by whom she was welcomed by at the arrival. Mary found her spot on the stage and gave the opening speech, talking about the importance of improving children's language in an early stage of their live. During the rest of her visit, she carefully listened to everything discussed.

When Mary arrived to the Black Diamond in Copenhagen, she was in a great mood and looked beautifully as always. She had chosen a chic business-like suit paired with one of her reused Prada blouses and a brand new printed scarf such as a black tote bag. My first thought about who designed the suit was Hugo Boss. Trying to find the one I stumbled across this one here (picture 16.) Let me hear what you think or if you have found the right one.I have also been looking almost everywhere to find a scarf and after a looooong I found a scarf but it seems that I’m wrong because more then one of you have responded on the information I gave – that it was from Saint Tropez. All of you told me that the scarf is from By Malene Birger and I believe you. I pretty much like the scarf with the gery/black leopard pattern it give the outfit a whole new look! And actually one of you remembered that this is not new but used before when she visited Australia, unofficial, in 2010, here. To match cool business-wear she wore sky blue earrings and a matching ring from Pomellato. An identification that has taken me years to figure out. Talking about accessories I also have to mention her black pointed SAND Copenhagen pumps as well as the bag. Judging on the shape and logo we are dealing with a Prada tote bag.
