Presentation of EliteForsk Awards 2025

Queen Mary attended the presentation of the Elite-Forsk Awards 2025. She was accompanied by Minister of Education of Research Christina Egelund when presenting the awards to this year's five winners.

The fiver winners are all researcher's at Danish universities researching anything and everything from military decision-making processes over snake venom and fertility to quantum physics and gas technology. The winners are:

Professor Anderes Hougaard Lausten-Keil. Professor Ingvild Bode. Professor Morten Mattrup. Professor Schliesser and Professor Cecilia Ramlau-Hansen.

Each of them are given 1 million Danish Kroner to their research and 200,000 Danish Kroner as a personal reward.

The Queen also handed over EliteForsk travel scholarships to 17 ph.d. students.

Here we go again! Mary wore a stunning two-color outfit at the presentation of EliteForsk Awards ceremony. The same The Fold London v-neck blouse and burgundy Alexander McQueen skirt as in 2024 when attending the opening of an exhibition about the Mary Elizabeth Hospital. Back then you weren't that excited. This time I love it even more. She looks flawless. At the arrival Mary wore an old JOSEPH coat.

I adore how she embraced the style with only a few accessorizes. The reused burgundy suede Aqauzzura boots look great with the wavy skirt. Never thought I would say that but I do like it. Love the match of different materials.

Her fine rose quartz earrings are crafted by Dulong Fine Jewelry such as the golden customized ring. we get a tiny glimpse of a leather clutch. It is a Diane von Furstenberg.

Church service for Ukraine

King Frederik and Queen Mary attended a church service on the occasion of the anniversary of the invasion of Ukraine.

The church service took place at Holmen's church in Copenhagen. The royal couple attended the service along with among others Folketinget's Chairman Søren Gade and the Ambassador for Ukraine Andrii Yanevskyi. Members of the Danish Government also showed their support by attending the service.

I know. I know. Minor detail but I have to comment on her wearing sheer tights. Mary used to wear such tights back in the days but at some point it stopped. Now she brought back a favorit detail of mine. Am I the only one who noticed it?

At the church service Mary looked beautiful in a brand new long grey coat - blazer-like in style. So far I have not been able to identify it. I'd really like to hear your thoughts and id you have any ideas for a possible designer. Could it be bespoke? She styled it with a simple black turtleneck blouse or dress. It goes that she has never worn something similar but I remember a lest two times: when Duchess Catherine visited Copenhagen in 2022 and in 2012 when celebrating Queen Margrethe's 40th jubilee.

Mary accessorized the outfit with a new black headband from Jane Taylor - similar to this one, and elegant black south sea pearl earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry. The fine diamond brooch is a gift from her late father-in-law. It belonged to Prince Henrik's mother.

The black Quidam clutch and reused suede Jimmy Choo pumps makes the outfit even more stunning.

Meeting with Simon Kjær Hansen

Queen Mary's Center is estimated to be inaugurated in 2026. The construction of the new center began three years ago launched on occasion of Queen Mary's 50th birthday. She has been a close partner all the way. Among others as member of the Queen Mary's Center's Advisory Committee.

On February 21st the Queen hosted a meeting at Frederik VIII's Palace with the center's CEO Simon Kjær Hansen. They discussed the center's five years businessplan.

We haven't seen Mary for quite a while. The family have enjoyed a few weeks vacation abroad. Among others they have been spotted in Australia. Now she is back at work. On February 21st she hosted the meeting with attendance of Søren Kjær Hansen, CEO of the Queen Mary's Center. Mary looked great in her reused Jesper Høvring blouse and simple black trousers. The belt is also a reuse. Still not identified. Super classy outfit.

She embraced the style with beloved diamond earrings from Sophie Bille Brahe and a couple of rings. She topped of the look with Gucci glasses - and likely black pointed pumps.

Happy 53rd birthday!

Congratulations to Queen Mary on behalf of her 53rd birthday! Her birthday was celebrated with a new photo taken by photographer Steen Evald at Amalienborg.

What a beautiful match. Laces and a minimalistic blouse. The stunning soft pink lace skirt is a brand new Valentino Garavani design. I predict it will be a new favorite of hers. Goes perfect for day and night events. Her fine blouse is a reuse from Mark Kenly Domino Tan. She first wore it in an exclusive interview in EUROWOMAN on occasion of her 50th birthday in 2022.

Mary embraced the gorgeous outfit with elegant earrings, golden bangles and a stack of rings. The earrings are adjustable in two different lengths. A couple of rings are from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Could she be wearing soft pink pumps as well? - what do you think?
