-Official opening-
Copenhagen Fashion Summit has been an annual event since 2009. Now the Crown Princess is patron of the summit. As front promoter of the event she attended the summit on its official opening day last Wednesday. When she arrived to DR's concert house in Copenhagen, CEO of Copenhagen Fashion Summit Eva Kruse welcomed her with a great smile. From what I know, the two of them has become quite good friends. The Crown Princess also attended a pre-event the day before, here. At the official opening ceremony she entered the stage and gave the opening speech. A great speech, here. According to the royal house website, Crown Princess Mary watched the presentation of Taking the pulse of the fashion industry and the following dialog Digitization and the future of fashion.

What an outfit. Somehow I do not know how she manages to surprise me after all these years. I know we can expect almost anything from her and still I am overwhelmed and surprised. I absolutely love what Mary wore during the official opening of Copenhagen Fashion Summit. The combination of colour and textures are just great. She had matched a plain white button-down with a brand new jacquard skirt in green. Actually, the skirt is originally a dress and it comes from Hennes & Mauritz (collection: H&M Conscious Exclusive). A clever way to transform your old dresses into something new. I feel in love with this match so much that I had to tried myself. I paired a green pleated skirt with a v-neck button-down and black oxfords -and pink glitter socks. That works beautifully as well. Mary then accessorized her summit-outfit with green Dulong Fine Jewelry earrings, a Orit Elhanati necklace and Cartier and Dulong Fine Jewelry bracelets. She was also wearing her ostrich clutch from Naledi Copenhagen and nude Prada pumps. Note that the earrings are not new. She has worn them before a several different occasions, among other things in 2014 at the annual Day of Research, here.

As part of the official opening of Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2018, a dinner was held in the evening. This took place at the prestigious and beautiful Hotel D'Angleterre in Copenhagen. It was as guest of honor that Crown Princess Mary attended the dinner. COO in Nike Eric Sprunk and CEO of Global Fashion Agenda Eva Kruse welcomed the Crown Princess at the arrival. The pictures shows a Crown Princess in a great spirit, really enjoying herself during the evening.

We have already seen the most incredible outfits the last two days and that has amazed me so much. The look she presented to us at the dinner is also so beautiful. Mary dazzled in a reused white creation made by David Andersen -a very talented Danish designer. Do you remember having seen the dress before? First time was when she attended dinner on occasion of Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2014, here. Then a year later she wore it once again on a trip to Germany, here. For years this has been a personal favourite. Loves how the shape looks on her and the match of different fabrics. It has so many interesting details. As seen before, Mary embraced the style with earrings from Annikat and a matching pink Carlend Copenhagen clutch. White and pink is just a wonderful combo, don't you think? Her other jewellery are from Cartier and Dulong Fine Jewelry. She also wore a pair of new shoes -patent leather peep toe pumps with an ankle strap. They have been found at Prada.
