Crown Princess Mary during her second day in Moldova

After a fantastic first day in Moldova, Mary was ready for yet another day which started with a visit at the Public Health Institute. Here the Crown Princess was introduced to the Vaccine Cold Chamber.  The visit to the vaccine chamber seemed to have impressed Mary who, afterwards talked to the local and international press. It was with great exciment she told about what she had seen so far. Around noon she attended a lunch along with other United Nations (UN) representatives in Moldova. The lunch was follwed by a very touching visit at The Mother and Child Institute aiming to improve mother and childrens health and well-being. Like everybody else, Mary could not resist the babies. Emotional to all of them I believe. Wonderful pictures from the visit.

Later the Crown Princess payed a visit to the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy where she also held a speech. What makes this a bit more special, especially for Mary and her traveling partner Dr Zsuzsanna Jakab, is that the two of them were announched honorary Doctorate. Dressed in each their special cape and hat, the two women recieved their new title. Congratulations!! In the evening she attended a dinner with representatives from the WHO. Unfortulately I have not been able to find any pictures from that dinner.

As impressed as I was of her during the day, as impressed am I of what she was wearing. My heart stopped for a second when I saw the grey JOSEPH coat and that printed white Stine Goya blouse. Really magnificent design. And then with the golden leaf brooch from Emmons - it looks simply dazzling. Very clever way to 'spice up' you old winter coat. I am so sure it will cause a stir if you tried it.

She matched the blouse with black trousers and a pair of still unidentified pointed pumps. I am a little surprised she was not carring any clutch or handbag, think it would have been appropriate. But really, don't we all know that time when we do not need our bag and do not know where to keep it while we are out? I do. What I recognized right away is the earrings. Goodies from Figaros Bryllup. We have not seen them for quite a long time and they look amazing to the rest of her outfit, especially in the combination with the printed Stine Goya blouse. Great to see something we have not seen in a long time. And as always, she completely nailed it! Last, but not least, Mary wore a thing diamond bracelet from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. I love how she mixed and matched rather light colours during late fall. So, what do you say? -Is you as impressed as I am?
