September 09, 2025

Queen Mary visited the Faculty of Social Science at University of Copenhagen as representative for Queen Mary's Center. The visit was focused on the faculty's impressive work to promote more welfare and innovation in the sectors of society. She also attended a lecture along with students of social science.

Her visit at the Faculty of Social Science at University of Copenhagen, she was given the honor of a naming ceremony. The naming of Denmark's very first electric tugboat 'Svitzer Ingrid'. The name is a gesture for Queen Ingrid.

Naming ceremony at the Ocean Dock in Copenhagen

I am truly a fan of prints, patterns and colors but never combined with black. I don't like the sharp contrast. Mary's outfit was indeed elegant but I wish she would have worn anything other than a black skirt and shoes.

Her beautiful flora printed blouse is from Zimmermann. It is the first time she wears it but my clever readers recognize it. Princess Josephine wore the blouse on her father's birthday in May of this year. White trousers are a way better match. What do you think? Mary styled the blouse with a brand new SKALL Studio skirt and black Prada belt.

Mary wore quite a few bracelets. Two of the golden ones are from talented Rebekka Notkin. They had company of two other Danish jewellery designer's: Dulong Fine Jewelry and Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Love the choice of golden jewellery to golden buttons.

I'm not quite sure if her Malone Souliers heels are new or not. On a previous occasion she wore a pair of shoes identified as Souliers. I believe that is correct but due to blurry photos I'm not sure if these were indeed the model. At the naming ceremony Mary changed shoes to a pair of Chanel flats.

Flag Day 2025

September 05, 2025

King Frederik and Queen Mary attended several events in Copenhagen on occasion of the annual Flag Day. By that they participated the honoring of soldiers who lost their lives in battle and their families.

First the couple attended a ceremony at Kastellet. They paid their respect with a moment of silence and a beautiful wreath placed at the Monument for Denmark's Internal Effort since 1948. After the official ceremony the royal couple attended a church service at Holmens Church. Followed by an official parade of the Danish Armed Forces at Christiansborg.

This event is much more than "the perfect outfit". I want us to stay a moment in silence and share a warm thought with those lost in battle, those soldiers who lost their lives and for those families left behind missing their loved ones.

Mary first wore this set back in 2017 when visiting Japan. Either you like it or you don't. What team are you on? I always liked the vibe but I see why somebody confused it with nightwear. The floral printed set is from Etro. She styled it with black mesh pumps from Gianvito Rossi and a reused glitter clutch from Sergio Rossi. Simply beautiful!

I'm pretty sure many of you noticed the stunning opal necklace. Magnificent, right? I'm 99.9% sure it is a gift from the JAA Opal Sector in 2006. This is its very first public appearance. Mary was gifted a pendant and Frederik received opal cufflinks.

As other jewellery Mary wore a colorful Dulong Fine Jewelry bracelet, a golden Rebekka Notkin cuff and a Cartier watch.

Board meeting with the Mary Foundation

September 03, 2025

Queen Mary hosted a board meeting with the Mary Foundation. The meeting focused on children and young people's leisure and how important this time is for them. How important it is for them to feel safe, learn something new and have fun at the same time.

Questions like these were discussed at the meeting: how can more children and young people become part of leisure activities? How are they meet when showing up - and what makes some to keep a distance to leisure activities.

Mary embraced a stunning and casual look when meeting with board members of the Mary Foundation. Looks like she was wearing a new white blouse and black trousers. I'm very fond of the blouse. The front part looks really interesting.

She accessorized her outfit with chic Gucci glasses. Her beautiful blue bag is a reuse from Paloroa. The braiding technique is dazzling. I guess she would have been wearing black pointed pumps.

As jewellery Mary had chosen a diamond necklace from Louise Grønlykke and a beloved golden watch from Cartier. She also wore a longer necklace. It looks new but I'm still not sure where it is from. Can't wait to identify it.
