Queen Mary visited Knudshoved Odde near Vordingborg as patron of WWF World Wide Fund for Nature who are currently working on a project to ensure better living conditions for endangered animal species.
Mikkel Aarø-Hansen, General Secretary of WWF World Wide Fund for Nature accompanied Mayor of Vordingborg Mikael Smed, Landowner of Rosenfeldt Gods Nicolai Oxholm Tillisch and director of Ravn-Nature Peer Ravn when welcoming the Queen when she arrived at Knudshoved Odde.
The Queen was scheduled to take part in a butterfly release, but cool weather meant that it was postponed. Instead, some of the butterflies were displayed and later to be released when the weather is warmer.
During the visit, the Queen also participated in releasing bell frogs and spread a seed mixture on the forest meadow.
This is what I love so much about our Queen: she is not afraid of jumping into a lake, climb a tree or release a frog. For her visit at Knudshoved Odde Mary had chosen a pair of reused Laksen trousers, an old down-vest from Moncler and a brand new Scandinavian Edition jacket.
The cool canvas belt with the brass buckle is from the Swedish Fjällräven. It features the iconic Fjällräven logo: the fox. Mary also wore new outdoor shoes from Salomon.
We also get a glimpse of a golden ring studded with diamonds from Dulong Fine Jewelry. I've been interested in knowing more about her rather massive silver ring. She has worn it on a few occasion's prior to her visit at Knudshoved Odde. It is now told to be a 'smart ring' that track you health. Your level of stress, sleep and heartbeat.
