  • 1:30 pm Attended a panel discussion on sustainable funding and defense of women.

While Crown Prince Frederik is in Africa, his wife Crown Princess Mary is in the Netherlands -not that far from home as her husband. She is in the Netherlands to attend the Global Network of Women's Shelters' Conference as chairman of the Mary Foundation, as a member of the International Panel ICPD's High Level Task Force and as patron of the UN Population Fund and the Maternity Worldwide. Involved in all this and much more, the Danish Crown Princess has to be the perfect person to represent Denmark along with the several organizations at the conference. The Women's Shelters' Conference aim to create knowledge and share experiences across cultures and nationalities, all to find a solution on how to stop violence against women in countries all over the world. Back in 2012, she attended the conference in Washington -the 2nd World Conference of Women's Shelters.

At 9:00 pm. local time, the Crown Princess arrived to the World Forum in the Hague accompanied by Queen Maxima of the Netherlands. The Queen welcomed Denmark's future queen at the airport when she arrived earlier that morning and both women were in splendid mood. Just a week ago Queen Máxima and her husband Kind Wilhelm-Alexander visited China. The visit ended before it was planned because Maxima had a kidney infection that she was treated for back home. This week she also had to cancel some of her appointments. Despite the infection she chose to stand by the Danish Crown Princess on Wednesday and as planned, took her part in the Women's Shelters' Conference. Both Mary and Queen Maxima have, for several years, been involved in work to combat violence against women.

At the opening Queen Maxima gave her speech and on November 5th the Danish Crown Princess is keynote speaker. Around an hour later, the Crown Princess was on her own again and attended several different activities and workshops related to the complex problems including empowerment of abused women, international cooperation in the field and opportunities to influence the international agenda. Afterwards she watch a part of the film Brave Miss World about the Israeli Linor Arbargil who in 1998, a few weeks before she became Miss World, she was raped. The Crown Princess also took part in the discussion followed after Linor's lecture. She also payed a visit to the women shelter Rosa Manus where she met children and women; talked to women and played with the children.

As I have mentioned once or twice before the weather has changed in Denmark. The leaves have fallen of the trees and the ones that are left have the most wonderful orange and red colours, it's colder and rainy all the time. A typical autumn weather in Denmark. Some days ago we saw Mary wearing rubber boots, a warm jacket and gloves, which are exactly what you need these days. The dress coat was completely different arriving to the Netherlands. Bare legs and pastel coloured clothes.

It was love a first sight for me. I'm got obsessed with her outfit and had to try it out myself. Maybe we need to go back and I tell you more about what she actually wore at the conference. Mary was wearing a pink 60s inspired A-line skirt featuring large pockets at front and a matching coat in the same bobble gum pink colour. I was pretty sure both skirt and coat had to be from the same designer. Still, I didn't find a thing indication where it's from. Something I rarely do is to give up but I did this time. Suddenly, out of nowhere, I got a message on Facebook with the text of an identification and a link to where to find these two new things. At the same time I added a new brand to my list of Mary's clothes, namely AndiataAnd yes, coat and skirt are from the same designer. I learned that no one could find the skirt, but that is why you have me because within 2 seconds I found her skirt as well. Thank to Lurdes who enlightened med and making my day even better. With a black turtleneck, accessorized with a reused Prada (2012 collectionhandbag and SAND Copenhagen pumps, she completed what I would call a perfect outfit. Don't know if you noticed it but she was wearing her old Cartier watch featuring a black watchband and small diamonds. A natural brown and pink makeup gave her a feminine touch such as the round diamond earrings from Hartmann's

Crown Princess Mary visisted Naturcenter Herstedhøje in Albertslund at 12:00 pm local time to attend the inauguration of the campaign Replant the Planet. Along with 120 local school kids, plenty of photographers and journalists the Crown Princess planted the first tree in what is going to be a new forest given the name 'Princess grove'. For several year the Crown Princess has been committed to attend all kind of campaigns to help the environment, develop sustainable solutions and get people to understand that it is our common responsibility. We only have one world and we need to take care of it -one way or another. Over 15,000 school children in Denmark participates in this project, which aim to teach children how you can do something about some of the many climate change we faces. Most countries around the world are committed to develop sustainable solutions and to implicate children in the project makes it more of a natural thing for them to take better care of our and their world such as the 'few' raw materials we have left. During the day everybody was allowed to plant their own tree and within the first week of November the 15,000 children will plant over 30,000 small new tree -oaks, beeches, birches. Wearing green rubber boots on her feet and with a spade in her hand, she nicely and perfectly planted her tree as the first one to mark the opening of Replant the Planet on a cold November day. Beside planting trees the children participate in several other activities in which the Crown Princess, with great curiosity, also attended.

Beside it was very funny and special to see her in rubber boots and with a spade in her hands were she always wears a expensive clutch or bouquet, one other thing was way more special. Because she brought with her a guest, we have only see at more private events. She brought with her Ziggy. A wonderful sight. Ziggy was a wedding gift from Dansk Kennel Klub to the couple when they got married in 2004. Ziggy was born in january 2005 and the couple got her in april.

November 2nd was a rather cold day and when your day is going with planting trees in the field, you need the right clothes. She even commented on her footwear: "It was a great I chose to wear my rubber boots" and she laughed afterwards. Planting trees requires the right footwear and again similar to Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, Mary wore her Le Chameau in a dust olive green colour that perfectly matched the, to us, new quilted jacket from Barbour. This jacket was really not easy to find. First of all because I had never heard about the brand before. It was identified by Kate and finally after two days looking everywhere to find it -I finally found it. Keeping the rest of her body warm she wore a dark grey turtleneck sweater, tight jeans and greenish knitted socks. Even in knitwear and rubber boots she looks just great. Wish that was how I looked wearing something similar -that is not the case.

Rygby final: Australia vs. New Zealand

Sunday, November 1st

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary enjoyed a private evening at Twickenham, United Kingdom, to watch the rugby final between Australia and New Zealand. RYGBYdk was allow to share a photo of the couple along with the wish for a good development for Danish rugby, here.

This is really all I know about their evening but I so much wanted to share this "private" moment. Seems like Mary's favourite blouse to wear these days are the classic turtleneck which matched the beige blazer similar to her greenish Ralph Lauren blazer worn yesterday at the Hubertus hunt in Dyrehaven in Klampenborg, here. She matched it with a turtleneck sweater. If you haven't got your very own turtleneck yet, then it is about time. I've got kinda addicted. The perfect fall-purchase to your wardrobe.

The Hubertus Hunt 2015

Sunday, November 1st

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended the annual Hubertus Hunt in Dyrehaven with all four children.

This is something I have been looking forward to for a really long time, because it has been four years since the Crown Princes couple and their children have attended the Hubertus hunt. So, now I think it's time for us to see them at this annual event again and we did. The family arrived old-fashioned by carriage to the castle around 10:45 am. The Crown Prince family; mom, dad and their four wonderful children watched the Hubertus Hunt from a balcony at the Eremitage castle, which by the way was resorted back in 2013. The castle is a smaller hunting castle that was used as a sanctuary where the king gathered small private hunting parties far away from the city. The castle was build in 1734-1736 by the architect Laurids de Thurah at the time of King Christian VI. So, during the hunting season the King used the castle as a resting place. Today the Eremitage castle is only used for special occasions and hunting dinners. Along with the Crown Prince couple over 40,000 people were gathered in Dyrehaven to follow the hunt. At 10:00 am the 160 riders were sent out on the 11 km long route as mentioned before passes by the Erimitage castle where the royal family watched the hunt. During the route the riders need to go through 32 obstacles among others the famous and legendary Magasindam, which is muddy water where many of the riders often drops into the pond. To get a glimpse of this many take place next to the pond. To me it seemed like the royal family enjoyed spending their sunday in the park.

I found so many pictures from the Hubertus hunt from yesterday, wonderful pictures of families in the woods dressed in warm jackets and hats. The soundings are absolutely outstanding. All the magnificent colours -leaves in orange, brown, dark green and red. This is why autumn is my favourite time a year. Even though the weather in Denmark are getting colder, I love it. Covering myself in warm clothes and woolen blankets. And I get an excuse to wear all the darker colours, bordeaux, navy blue, green matching the colours in the nature. I always loved this time a year and i really do not know why? But I adore everything about it. As I do, Mary and her family also loves fall colours and I'm so sure they enjoyed a day in their warm and comfy clothes. All four kids were wearing different shades of jeans and Christian, Isabella and their sister Josephine all wore each their down jacket from Moncler. Vincent and his father wore similar winter jackets. Actually, I was surprised Mary was the only one wearing a hat. She matched her knitted hat, which you might remember from her stunning 40th birthday pictures, here, with leather gloves featuring a hemline of fur which I kinda like. I would never ever have chosen them on my own but after Mary wore hers I would really like to buy similar gloves. I have a pair of bordeaux made of wool which are absolutely gorgeous but I wouldn't mind to have Mary's gloves as well. Nothing to hide, because I'm crazy about yesterday's November-outfit. Her outfit are so much inspired by the old-british-manor-house-style. Perfect for an event like this. In the same dusty colour, she wore a turtleneck sweater and a brand new down vest. In fact I'm not a down-jacket or down-vest fan. I think I would look silly wearing one, but Mary wear hers beautifully. A similar model has been found at Uniqlo, but there are some differences around the neckline. So, I can't tell for sure if it's the same as the one Mary is wearing. What do you say? Nevertheless, she embrace the style with her greenish Ralph Lauren (Blue Label Collection) blazer worn during a trip to Greenland in 2014, here. I think I remember something about Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, got the same one. Her amazing brown leather bag is also from Ralph Lauren. Left we have the brown riding boots. The most classy model of them all. After some hours I was able to actually find the right model from Prada as I first assumed as the designer. With a little help you now find the same model as Mary was wearing down below.
