It was a big day for residences of the old KamilinaerGaardens Hospice in Aalborg. Crown Princess Mary was about to arrive to officially open the new Hospice Vangen with room for fifteen terminal patientens. One of them is Lily Jensen, whom the Crown Princess visited in her room in the new hospice later on.

The Crown Princess Mary warmly welcomed with lots of smiles, flowers and a little chat. She then cut the red ribbon as part of the official opening. Afterwards the Crown Princes was given a guided tour around the new facilities to see it for herself. This is when Lily Hansen had a talk with her about the new place in Aalborg.

Later on she arrived to the Christmas Seal Home in Hobro to celebrate its 80th anniversary. All the home's children welcomed her with smiles, flags and flowers. I imagine it being a wonderful experience for the children to meet the Crown Princess in person. They celebrate the anniversary with sining, speeches and of course a game of tennis. She was also given a tour around the facilities, where some of children has the chance to meet the Crown Princess and tell their story about their stay.
