'World No Tobacco Day 2018'

Thursday, May 31st

Am I the only now who have had a wonderful week celebrating the Crown Prince? I have the feeling that he has been celebrated throughout the entire world - at least people from most parts of the world have followed the celebrations. But now it is time to get back to work. That is what the Crown Princess did on Thursday. Here she attended the World No Tobacco Day 2018, which is established by The World Health Organisation (WHO) and internationally takes place on May 31st. It is on that occasion Kræftens Bekæmpelse and TrygFonden has collaborated on making Smoke Free Future, which will be held once a year from now on. The Crown Princess attended the event as patron of The World Health Organisation, Regional Office of Europe. A title she has had quite a few years now. At the arrival she was welcomed by Jesper Fisker, the CEO of Kræftens Bekæmpelse, and Gurli Martinussen, CEO of TrygFonden. It was a warmhearted welcoming. After a few speeches and entertainment, she even participated in the untraditional launching of the Time Flies campaign. Think it was a great day for all of them. The Crown Princess was indeed in a splendid mood.

As her wonderful smile; she wore wonderful clothes as well at the day in collaboration with Kræftens Bekæmpelse and TrygFonden. Mary has chosen to wear a reused creamy white suit from Max Mara. Do you remember it? She wore it first at an official visit to Sweden last year, here. At that time she was joined by Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden, and the world seemed to love it. For years I have been in love with women wearing suits. Makes a great statement. It looks great and is easy to wear. This time has chose to embrace a chic spring style by wearing a little bit of colours - to be more precise; green. The clutch is from Nina Ricci and seen once before on a business trip to the United States in 2016, here. Again she matched it with something white and it works so well. Don't you think? In the same spectacular colour, Mary accessorized her outfit with brand new earrings from Jewlscph. Their identity has been confirmed by the itself. Beautiful, right? I am sure many of you noticed the rather large ring on her finger. To be clear, it is not new but never identified. Somehow I have always presumed that Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen made it, though I have never been able to find anything like it. Then we have a very familiar pieces - her Orit Elhanati necklace and snake pumps from Gianvito Rossi.

60 years of anniversary for 'Granbohus'

Tuesday, May 29th

After a week of celebration for her husband, who just turned 50 on May 26th, the Crown Princess is back at work. She began her week with an anniversary visit in Fredensborg. Here the Crown Princess visited Granbohus that celebrated 60 years of anniversary. Ten years ago she visited the institution on its 50th anniversary, here. It was a happy reunion, when she arrived to Granbohus which is a vacation and relief institution for home-grown children, adolescents and adults with physical and/or mental disabilities. At the arrival she was warmly welcomed by mayor of Fredensborg Municipality Thomas Lykke Pedersen and leader of Granbohus Thor Simony. Such as all the young people and children who welcomed the Crown Princess. It was a wonderful and sincere sight. Music was played, speeches were held and everybody seemed to have a brilliant time.

Visiting Granbohus, Mary was wearing a brand new dress. Heaven managed to find it at Paul & Joe, which seems to be a new favourite of hers. The dress features sheer sleeves with floral applications matching the rest of the dress. She embraced the style by also wearing reused wedges from Tod's. We have already seen these shoes quite many times before, here, here, here. I really use to like them, but somehow they looks a bit odd with this dress. I would love to have seen a pair of colorful pumps or even ballet flats would do. Am I the only one with this thought? What I do like is the fact that she has chosen to wear light blue jewellery from Pomellato and a golden necklace from Orit Elhanati. Guess she could have been wearing her golden Cartier bracelet as well. What really made my day about this outfit is her spirit. Her sincere commitment and warmhearted behaviour is wonderful to see.

Already in the morning on May 26th, the royal house posted a few new photos of the Crown Prince and his family. The new official photo of Crown Prince Frederik you find to your right. What you see above is the second photo posted. Both moments are captured by talented photographer Franne Voigt. It is not the first he has taken wonderful photos of the Crown Prince couple, here.

During the day, it was also announced that a brand new book was published on occasion of the Crown Prince's birthday, here. It shows photos of the Crown Prince from his life. The book is a gift from his wife, who, together with four different photographers, have found and collected memories in this new book. Some of them are also from their private collection. The book comes in a limited edition. I already purchased myself a copy of the book.

-12:00 pm-
It was around noon when the Crown Prince stepped out on the balcony at Amalienborg. Just like his mother has done a million times before. With a huge smile on his face, he seemed overwhelmed by all the Danes attending this little moment of history. Shortly after, the Crown Prince was surrounded by his wife, all four children and his mother the Queen. 'Happiness' is probably the best word to describe how the Crown Prince couple looked standing on the balcony. While Crown Prince Frederik and his two sons looked handsome in each their fitting suit; the Crown Princess and the two daughters  stunned in beautiful dresses. Crown Princess Mary met the Danes wearing a reused Vilshenko dress and paired it with drop earrings from Dulong Fine Jewelry. Love the detail that all three "girls" embraced the same beautiful hairstyle.

Queen Margrethe hosted a gala dinner on occasion of Crown Prince Frederik's 50th birthday on May 26th. Family and friends for near and far, were invited to celebrate the Crown Prince. The dinner took place at Christiansborg Castle in Copenhagen in the room with all the amazing tapestries and checkered floor. Normally, the Queen arrive last but this time, the Crown Prince couple took that honor. They arrive to Christiansborg by carriage. The couple drove from Amalienborg, across the city to Christiansborg. Drivning in carriage across the city, gave the couple the opportunity to share another moment with the Danes. Thousands of Danes showed up to get a glimpse of the beautiful couple.

Arriving to Christiansborg, the Crown Prince couple were warmly welcomed by Queen Margrethe, here, -and a handfull of journalists and photographers. It was a true pleasure to see the three of them together. Then all 400 guests were welcomed with a handshake, before dinner was served in the Banquet hall. The Queen welcomed all with the first of three speeches. Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen also gave a great speech in honor of the Crown Prince's birthday. Then, in her new beaded lace gown from Spangenberg Copenhagen and shiny jewelry, the Crown Princess gave her outstanding speech. She is indeed an amazing speaker and this speech was the best I have ever heard. Warm, sincere, perfect in public but still personal. It had everything a speech need to become a succes. Around midnight, dancing was declared and the music played while the guests enjoyed a dance with their loved ones.

The official celebration of Crown Prince Frederik ended on Saturday evening with a gala show broadcasted live on Danish television. So around 8:00 pm local time, the Crown Prince couple arrived to Royal Arena in Copenhagen along with all four children. More than 12,500 people were gathered in the arena, ready to celebrate the Crown Prince and enjoy a great show, which lasted over two hours. I watched the show and all family members seemed to sincerely enjoy themselves. Prince Christian and his three sibiling's were interviewed and told the most sweet things about their father -like he always laughs about his own jokes, that he is very much loved by his children and they think their father would like a travel with his family as present for his birthday. All of it made him smile and laugh. Prince Joachim, Princess Marie and Prince Felix also attended the show, such as Countess Alexandra did. Crown Princess Mary's sister also attended, as at the gala dinner the day earlier.
At the show, the Crown Princess dazzled in a bright pink creation from Etro. Heaven manages to identify it. Beautifully she accessorized it with a matching pink Carlend Copenhagen clutch, Aquazzura lace-up pumps and new earrings. She embraced the style with curly hair and modest makeup.

A brand new documentary called My Way was broadcasted on TV2 in Danish television Sunday evening. A TV crew has followed the Crown Prince family for a couple of years, showing the Crown Prince and his family at official event and on more private occasions. From my personal point of view, this is indeed a remarkable portrait of His Royal Highness. Even the filming techniques are outstanding. I sincerely hope you had the chance to watch the documentary or at least some of these few clips published, here.

Early Monday morning the Crown Prince share the first of many pictures from him participating Royal Run, herehereherehere. The event took place in five different Danish cities (Aalborg, Aarhus, Esbjerg, Odense, Copenhagen) across the country. And what a massive support the event had from more than 70,000 Danes participating the run. It was simply impressive. The Crown Prince expressed how sincere he was for the support. He was also supported by his wife, who also happen to run 10 km in Odense, here. The Crown Princess and their four children joined a mile run in Copenhagen before she went to Odense, here.
