International conference on equality

Thursday, May 3rd

Before her trip to Seattle, the Crown Princess attended as guest of honor an international conference on equality taking place at Eigtveds Pakhouse in Copenhagen. The conference is held on occasion of Denmark's Presidency of the Council of Europe Ministerial Committee. The Presidency was taken over by Denmark in 2017 from the Czech republic and is given to Croatia on May 18th 2018. At the arrival, Crown Princess Mary was welcomed by newly elected Minister of Equality, Nordic cooperation and Fisheries Eva Kjer Hansen, who also happen to host the conference. The Crown Princess entered the stage and gave a speech to around 200 representatives from the 47 member countries. Read a quote from her speech below. With very few words she manage to say everything. Her speech can be read, here.

In the evening she was suppose to attend the launch of a new art- and cultural event at the Nordic Museum in Seattle, as part of a three days business promotion. According to Danish media, she went directly to the airport after the event in Copenhagen to go to Seattle.

I have loved this dress from the first time Mary showed up wearing it. We first saw the dress worn in 2016, when she attended the 66th Session of The WHO Regional Committee for Europe in the UN office, here. I remember some of us, desperately, was looking for a new blouse and skirt at the time. Then we realized that she was in fact wearing a dress. So now we know for sure that the dress is from Hugo Boss. In 2016 Mary also chose to wear the tan double bag from Prada. A wonderful bag that I will never in a millions years get close to be able to purchase. I will have to dream along with all of you. The two pieces makes a great match. Such as the pumps she had chosen. They are her old ones from Gianvito Rossi. Actually, I think it is her first pair of Gianvito Rossi pumps goes quite a few years back. A very polished and sophisticated look for the event. Only few know how to dress appropriately like Mary. Right? Guess she could be wearing some of her diamond rings and earrings as well. I just wish we had a little more pictures from the attendance at the conference in Copenhagen.

Confirmation of Countess Ingrid

Sunday, April 30th

The Crown Princes family has been pretty busy with private event the last week. On Saturday the Crown Princess attended a christening with the Skeel family, here, and the following day, the royal couple attended as guests of Countess Ingrid's confirmation. Countess Ingrid is the grandchild of Princess Benedikte -sister to Queen Margrethe. The Danish magazine Billed-Bladet reported about the confirmation in their last edition, here, and according to the magazine the Crown Prince couple helped to celebrate a family members big day. Seems like they were all having a great time.

Mary dazzled wearing a wonderful outfit perfect for this time a year. She was dressed in a white silk blouse from Hugo Boss matched to a new floral mid-length skirt. Heaven is the one who was able to identify her new white blouse and she came up a possible identification of Mary's new skirt. She suggests that it is from Rochas. I see great resemblance between the two models. Especially, the jacquard fabric is very much alike. Mary had then chosen to accessorize her look with white pearl jewellery from Dulong Fine Jewelry, a red Carlend Copenhagen clutch and a pair of reused Gianvito Rossi pumps. As the stylish woman she is, she wore her JOSEPH coat as cape and magnificent black sunglasses.

Christening in Aalborg

Saturday, April 28th

During the weekend, Crown Princess Mary participated the christening of Holger Skeel in Aalborg.  The ceremony took place in Budolfi church, where family and friends were gathered. She attended the ceremony on her own, while Crown Prince Frederik and the children waited at the Skeel family's house. Lunch was held after the christening at the location where the rest of the Crown Prince family stayed.

With a little help from Heaven I am able to tell you a that Mary wore a brand new embroidered dress from Vilshenko at the christening. Somehow, I have really come to love this dress. Especially the decorations makes me stare. Vilshenko is know for these significant patterns and Mary wear it perfectly. She embraced a beautiful spring outfit by wearing a new, nude bag from Mulberry and matching pink Gianvito Rossi pumps. Heaven is the one who managed to identify the bag as well. Even though powder pink and black are diametrically opposed of each other, Mary makes it work to perfection. Actually we often see her wear a darker colour along with something very fair -like black an powder pink. As jewellery she had chosen, what looks like a new, bracelet from Dulong Fine Jewelry (collection: SS18 Limited Edition). Also the golden ring and rose quartz drop earrings are from Dulong Fine Jewelry. Wish I could tell you more about the necklace, but I guess it is her golden piece from Orit Elhanati.

The ANZAC Day 2018

Thursday, April 26th

Early Thursday morning, the Crown Princess attended the ANZAC Day 2018 -all unofficially. The ceremony took place at Kastellet in Copenhagen. ANZAC Day is a memorial day for lost soldiers from the Australian- and New Zealand Army Corps ANZAC, who fought during world war one at the Battle of Gallipoli in Turkey back in 1915. Lives were honored and reminded at the ceremony at Kastellet. In 2015 she attended the same ceremony, just as an official event, here. On this cloudy and rainy morning, the Crown Princess showed her support and respect once more in a moment of silence.
