Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended the wedding of Princess Madeleine of Sweden and Christopher O'Neil.

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary arrivs to Sweden
Crown Princess Mary was not able to attend the pre-wedding dinner last night, that's why she arrived to Sweden on the wedding day. A wedding is always great to attend and a royal wedding is even better. All the wonderful dresses, huge tiaras, glam and glitter not to forget the bride. There's always great excitement attracted to a royal wedding. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who have been looking forward to this day. Only three years ago Princess Madeleine's sister Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden married Daniel Westling, now Prince Daniel. Mary was the absolute best dressed at her wedding in a wonderful and romantic what's said is a Jesper Høvring creation. Such beauty. What no one knew was, at that time she was pregnant with the twins. So I'm really looking forward to this year's wedding - what will we see, a new dress or an old one? Which accessories will she wear? What tiara will she be wearing? I have so many questions. Well, we just have to wait and see till the wedding begins. 

At the arrival to her hotel she also wore a pretty nice outfit which I immediately fell in love with! Her hair was casual, ready for the wedding later today. She wore a white Hugo Boss peplum and brand new colourful Baum und Pferdgarten trousers. The black wedges could be some from L.K. Bennett.  Matching to the trousers she carried a white Prada handbag. Then we have the Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses left. A pretty easy outfit to try yourself - because it works with any colour peplum and any colour trousers!

The church ceremony

Finally the times up and Princess Madeleine and Christopher O'Neil are married, husband and wife. Madeleine was so beautiful in her Valentino creation of a wedding gown! Meters of stunning lace work. It was a magnificent sight when she arrived to the church. I'm really impressed by the wedding gown, it much have taken hours and hours to make it. Very feminine with a classic touch. Madeleine's dress is the complete opposite of Mary's wedding gown which was pretty simple in an ivory colour. I really hope you got the chance to see some of the wedding. For me it has become an tradition to follow such engagements, luckily most of this are broadcasted in Denmark just like this wonderful royal wedding in Sweden. This must be the wedding of the year 2013! Everyone were gathered to celebrated the couple with the wedding; royals from all over the world.

Most of you might remember the wedding of Victoria and Daniel, a summer wedding to remember such as this one will be to me. The most wonderful and stunning dresses were worn of course Mary was one of them, at both weddings.


I really admire Mary's wedding guest look, all the best in one place! I am not sure where to start... Many guest were dressed in light pastel colours like the norwegian Crown Princess Mette-Marit in a blue lace gown and Crown Princess Marie-Chantal from Greece in a creamy white gown. These are only two of them but Mary is known for choosing something else and different. This time it was a gorgeous bright red Collette Dinnigan resort 2013 gown. It features a floor-length cut and a slim shape which shows her figure perfectly. According to Billed Bladet the raspberry cape is made by Birgit Hallstein to match the dress, what's hard to see is the beautiful sleeves.

Lately she has been wearing metallic accessories - by the way it's the highest fashion this year with metallic accessories - it was also the case at the wedding. She wore silver Prada pumps featuring a dusty pink sole, and a silver clutch my guess is that Judith Leiber might be the designer of the clutch. The earrings is made by Marianne Dulong. Something new and exciting are the two cuff's on each wrist. With the help from Pernille we know know that they are from Annikat and are called Wing Cuff. A great detail that she's wearing one on each wrist! Then we only have the tiara left, I was sure they would be wearing her wedding tiara but not she chose the Midnight Tiara created by Charlotte Lynggaard. An overwhelming piece of work.


Notice that she's not wearing the Order of the Elephant with the blue ribbon but the Order of the Serahim which is the Swedish order which is the same Order Frederik is wearing. This order is worn, as most other orders, from right to left. Read more about the history here.

Day 4: Malaysia

At her third and last day in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Crown Princess Mary delivered a speech during the only and last event at the Women Deliver Conference. She caught everyones attention with her speech. I fell, even though I have only seen the pictures that there were a very special atmosphere in the room when she gave her speech. She has a natural way of speaking to people of course at her national language, english. The english language is much more easy to use when to express yourself. Many more words to use. 

Because of one of my amazing readers I can give you the id. on her lovely white blouse she was wearing at this last day. It comes from Hugo Boss BOSS Black Autumn/Winter 2007/2008. It turns out that she has actually worn it before; my absolute favourite outfit! It was worn in a interview called Mads, Marie and the Crown Princess. The two children had the chance to met the Crown Princess, they both suffer from rare diseases. The Hugo Boss blouse was worn with an reused Strenesse skirt made of silk and is from the 2007 collection. The earrings are from Jewlscph.

Update: Some new pictures from her trip to Malaysia have appeared and I would love to share them with you of course. It is always great to find new and unseen pictures that give us the chance to see a new outfit! I am not quite sure when and where the pictures were taken only that they are from this trip. It surprised me when I saw her look with the new Max Mara Studio dress featuring the print of cherry flowers, very delicate. It was my reader Jenny who I.D. it. Thanks! To the new dress she wore large gold Marianne Dulong earrings, a bright orange clutch and pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Great look!

Another day in Malaysia with everything some school visits and a prestige business gala dinner in the evening. The presents of Mary I think is really important, by being who she is and with her title as Crown Princess the conference get a entire new audience. The world is now aware of what she works for and which magnificent job help organizations does. I'm always overwhelmed by their job and how much they manage to do. Their help is so important, they save human lives.

Today Mary met so many people from young to old. She was a popular woman as always surrounded by someone. She gives so many so much joy by her present. Wearing bright colours our nordic princess caught attention like always. A white blouse featuring ruffles at front from Hugo Boss and a blue and white dotted Prada skirt with a matching belt was the clothes she wore. Once before on a trip to U.S.A couple of years ago we saw the exact same combination. White Sea pearl earrings are from Marianne Dulong, something Danish on her Malaysian trip. A funny thought just came to my mind; think about it how many countries she has brought with her this pair of Marianne Dulong earrings? If they could tell a story for each visit it would probably take years.

Mary added heeled Ralph Lauren sandals to this reused outfits. Since we saw it the first time I have been looking for the right model and designer. First I was so sure Christian Louboutin was the one who created because of a pictures I found, now I know for sure Ralph Lauren is the designer and he really did a great job with these. They are pretty and usable for any outfit even a trip abroad.

Business Gala dinner
In the lights of the hundreds camera's Mary arrived to the dinner at 7:30 pm. local time to attend a business dinner in addition to her trip. The camera flash made her light up in the room despite the dark room she was welcomed in. So feminine she was dressed in a old pink Prada 2004 RTW Fall dress featuring a large V-neck and a pleated fabric. One of the first time she wore this was in 2008 when attending the Royal Lifeguard's 350th anniversary concert in Tivoli, Copenhagen. You see a picture of her from that event on the picture below. Then she wore it with a white cardigan - this time with no cardigan but lovely metallic silver accessories!

Lets start with the silver and diamond earrings, they are custom-made by Marianne Dulong for Mary. The Lotus earrings have a replaceable pendant. Beautifully she had added a metallic silver belt and a bracelet to the outfit. Mary completed the look with her stunning Prada pumps. I wouldn't mind be the owner of these pumps! I truly understand why everyone was amazed by her this night.

Tomorrow is her last day in Malaysia.

To take part in such an important conference as this is huge for both Mary and the little almost inviable country by the name Denmark. It shows that even though we're not a large country on the global scene we still have something to say. Mary really uses her voice when it's necessary as this is; the rights for women and girl's all over the world. In yesterday's post I made it clear that she really do an amazing job outside the Danish borders. She is among the worlds most important people at this conference. And I think she was quite a popular lady...


 When attending such a conference and at the same time has to present Denmark and need to wear something that not to laud. We have to admit this is about much more then clothes. Still it's worth mentioning who well she did, this job as well. How you you dress appropriate, Mary makes her style the best example. Wearing a white, reused, Hugo Boss fitted dress and maybe a beige Ralph Lauren jacket featuring a large V-neck. Beautifully she added a snake belt to the outfits such as beige Jimmy Choo pumps. The white handbag is the same as yesterday, when she arrived to Kuala Lumpur. Marianne Dulong is the designer of her white Sea pearl earrings. Mary really did a good improvement on me and many others at today's conference. Mary you make me proud!
