Crown Princess Frederik & Crown Princess Mary attended the confirmation

I’m sorry that there has not been a post about this days after the 18th of May, but you might have seen that there has not been any pictures. I can now tell you some of what she was wearing because the Danish magazine Billed-Bladet showed some few pictures of the Crown Prince couple – just without the children. But she wore her pink hat made by Susanne Juul featuring a big pink flower and then she reused a dusty pink Prada dress. Back in 2009 (see picture below) she wore the same stunning dress. I really like all the small details. The hat is one we have seen her wearing for many years like in 2005 when she was pregnant with her first child, Prince Christian and visited the Faroe Islands. For sure I'm not the only one who would really love to have seen just a few pictures of the couple at the big day.

Crown Prince Frederik & Crown Princess Mary attended the after party

First I need to say it is not usual for Danish young people to have a after party the day they are confirmed, well Nikolai is a royal and of course he need a royal after party for his friends and family. This Frederik and Mary also took part in. A few pictures were taken when they arrived to the party and Mary was in a lovely dark emerald green suede Prada dress. The same as the one from the return dinner when we had an official state visit from Slovakia in 2012. You remember it? See it right here. As the first time she added a pair of dark green Jewlscph earrings and nude Prada pumps to the party outfit. Last we have the sea pearl bracelet made by Marianne Dulong.

Yesterday Mary attended the opening of ESC but only very few pictures have I been able to find, luckily for me and all of you I know the amazing Agnés Colbert! She has been so sweet and have given to permission to show one of her great pictures right here. She got some really good pictures of Mary when she arrived to the opening which give us the chance to enjoy a stylish outfit. Even though she was in black and white I really like the new Malene Birger dress featuring a pleated skirt and the stunning black blazer with the leather collar. The perfect way to spice up a simple blazer, Helmut Lang, to become the most modern piece of clothes. The blazer is the perfect contrast to the feminine dress. When it comes to the dress it's worn mentioning that the lovely Swedish Crown Princess Victoria wore the exact same dress in powder pink a few days ago at her sister's, Princess Madeleine, Bann's ceremony. I think it is fun to see when the different royals wear same clothes because it shows who it's possible to wear clothes in different ways, despite your style. In my opinion Mary really need to wear the dress again, well because it's so beautiful!

Not a bad choice to add black accessories, both the Carlend Copenhagen clutch and the magnificent black leather pointed pumps from Danish SAND. I was pretty sure that the pumps was from L.K. Bennett but after all they seems to be from SAND who has confirmed the identity of her shoes. so, it has been clarified. The silver diamond Winter Frost earrings created by Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen is a pleasure for me to see, in my opinion this specific collection of jewellery are the most stunning and beautiful jewellery ever designed!

Of all my heart I hope we'll see much more of this business-work wear in the future. It suits her very well and give all of us work wear lovers new ideas what to wear! Is it something would want to see in the future?

Outfit No. 1

Mary is truely a fashion icon also in private. This outfit from her first day in New York proofs to me that she embrace the latest trends and use them her own way. She mix the feminine style with the highly modern fashion with a twist of business trends. Personally I'm one of those who really like the business style in which Mary sometimes wears as here, Crown Princess Letizia of Spain must be that royal who love the business wear must. The different between these two women is that Mary twist it with her own sense of beauty. The work wear express a professional and classic style I love, it's possible to upgrade with any kind of accessories and the perfect evening outfit is created. Maybe you could say it's the perfect wardrobe basics for all kinds of styles, whether you want the ultimate work wear look or something completely else. Yes, I'm very enthusiastic with this outfit.

Wearing caramel colour trousers with the ultra high Christian Louboutin pumps did that her look was transformed from a bit boring to fashionable. Mary added a light transparent white lace peplum from Zara and a orange spotted scarf to the slim trousers and amazing pumps! We need to thank RoyalOutfits for the identifying the wonderful new lace blouse. Mary never goes down on accessories, such as the pumps, and to this outfit she had chosen the outstanding scarf, Jewlscph earrings and her grey Prada handbag. All accessories are used before in several different ways. By the way, I would really like to have the scarf identified so let me know if you have any idea about who the designer could be. She completed the look with a simple, easy and everyday-like hairstyle.

Outfit No. 2

I'm not quite sure I fancy the the composition of these colours, the purple felt (?) jacket with the black dress trousers and the printed Zara blouse. Maybe it is the black trousers that's a wrong element in this outfit? I really can't point out where the problem is. An idea would be to split up the pieces and use them separately. I have always loved the printed Zara blouse. She was wearing the exact same one at the first pictures of the twins. You remember those? The twins were so cute! We also saw her with the grey Prada handbag as the day before. She added a pair of black patent pointed pumps to the outfit. Hope to see all parts again - just not at the same time.

Finally, what we all have waited for the day is finally here when the Netherlands are going to have a new King and Queen - King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima! As I wrote in yesterdays post then I'm sure they'll manage this new 'job' perfectly, they know their role and what to do. They have each other and make a great couple not only as royals but also as husband and wife. I think they are a great match, the way they support each other is worth noticing and I look forward to see how they do it as head of the Netherlands. Long live the King and Queen!

I'm so thrilled of all this, I love to follow such a big day. Usually I'm cleaned to the screen to see every little detail and when I saw the first pictures of Mary... wauw what a look! I have to say that I was also a bit surprised to see her in the white Charlotte Lynggaard dress. First of all I hadn't imagined that she would wear such a dress (well she often surprises me and all of you with her choice of clothes) and the fact that Charlotte Lynggaard designed it. As you might know she's the chef designer of Ole Lynggaard jewellery. I'm amazed by the work she did with the flowers. Original it was created for Elle Style Award's 50th anniversary show. See it here. It was a great show. You'll also see that the dress has changed a bit around the sleeves. Mary borrowed the wonderful dress. Don't you love it?!

She added beautiful pastel colour accessories to the coronation; powder Prada pumps as she wore at yesterdays VIP gala dinner with the stunning Birtgit Hallstein gown such as the knot clutch from Bottega Veneta. The baby blue hairpiece gave her a ultra feminine touch in the combinational with a well done hairdo and three pieces from the Ruby parure. My guess is that milliner Susanne Juul is the creator of the hairpiece. An accessory that made me even more excited is the Ole Lynggaard Flower  Earrings. This is really a masterpiece with the well-placed diamonds in the shape of flowers and leaves. Mary you won my heart with this look!

Crown Prince Frederik & Crown Princess Mary attended dinner in Amsterdam

Well, well. I always have the feeling with Mary that it simply can't get better (I might mentioned this before...) and every time it DOES get better. My passion for Mary always brings me to a stage where I never get tired of her and are always excited to see what combination she'll wear next.

Most men loves the colour red. Red is also a really powerful colour which it also symbolize, at that point I might be a man. I adore that colour! It takes a woman to wear it and either your like it or not. If you're one of these who do not like it I really hope that Mary's dress tonight changed your mind because this wonder you just love. Mary is a small woman who can wear almost everything in the world; from colours to prints to skirts, trousers and evening gowns. With her relatively long legs and thin upper body this is the perfect dress featuring a tight top and the several layer skirt. The stunning evening dress is created by Danish designer Jesper Høvring from his Spring/Summer 2013. In this Mary looked like a true movie star with her large Ruby earrings and ring.

What's better then add some stardust to the powerful red dress, with a silver metallic clutch - not identified - and matching silver Prada pumps featuring powder pink sole and the golden Prada logo!! I'm amazed...
