Goodbye to the Master of Ceremonies

October, 5

Some weeks ago the Royal Master of Ceremonies, Christian Eugen-Olsen, retired. At that time no pictures had been published that's why you get the post now. Even though I'm sure it was a sad day for all, Mary was really well-dressed in a brand new dark green and creamy By Malene Birger blouse with a polished look. With some help from the one and only Pernille I can tell that her new pencil skirt, in the amazing dark grey colour, is from the Danish designer Elise Gug (Fall/Winter 2012). Last but not least, the grey ball earrings comes from Jewlscph in oxidized silver. They are pretty old and it has taken me years and years to actually find them. We thank Christian Eugen-Olsen for some good years!

Christmas Seal Homes for 100 year

October, 29

Crown Princess Mary attended the launch of this years christmas stamp 2012 which is designed by Carl Quist Møller. She's the patron of the Christmas Seal Homes (Julemærkehjem). This is also the 100 year of anniversary for the stamps - 1912 to 2012.

What is the Christmas Seal Homes?
In Denmark we have four of these homes for children who struggles with social isolation and bullying. Each year over 750 children, in the age of 7-14 years old, get help from the Christmas Sea Homes. The children stays there for 10 weeks and does also learn about eating health food and what excise is good for. The money from the selling of the stamps goes to these homes. Support the homes and read much more about all of it here and see the stamps here.

October is a month where the weather in Denmark is getting cold and rainy. To keep warm Mary was dressed in a navy blue turtleneck, which you can't live without and they are pretty inexpensive, and over she wore a black Prada jacket with sequins. It's a jacket we have seen her wear several times and there is an associated skirt. After her speech she stepped down from the rostrum we had a clear view to the boots, a pair of black ankle boots from Mulberry with the beautiful name Tillie. The classic bag from Bottega Veneta we all know. I think it is a great honor for Mary each year to publish the new Christmas stamps where the money goes to help many Danish children every single year and I hope that we this year once again can collect lots of money the children and this years stamps are really sweet!

Mary was welcomed by Johannes Flensted-Jensen the head of The Lung Association of Denmark (Danmarks Lungeforening) when she arrived to the Royal Theatre. It was a happy and good looking Princess who arrived to the gala with glamorous curly hair and believe it or not, a recycled Heartmade dress and a black Prada coat with press-buttons. Beside the wonderful lace dress she wore black satin pumps and a clutch both from Prada. For at moment we go back to the dress, it was worn in 2006 at the Crown Prince Couples Award and since then it changed especially on the skirt.

Visiting the Geelsgaardskolen and Rosenborg Palace with Lady Silvia Gašparovičová

It's always a pleasure to see Mary around kids! Their happy faces makes Mary smiles, which makes me smile. She's so caring. On a October day, she had chosen a snow white suit from Prada with a pencil skirt. The suit is reused. Her legs were bare but she carried a floral white Paul Smith scarf, also reused. One of the most amazing colours in the Fall is bordeaux and Mary wore exact that colour as a leather clutch and her brand new pumps, identified by Kate as Pura Lopez. Thanks for the help. I'm sure both the Lady Silvia, Mary and the kids had a great day! Not to mention, they also visited Rosenborg Palace.

Return Dinner

To me Mary look great in any imaginable colour and the moss green is no excuse! I suggest the new dress is a suede model from JOSEPH. What do you think, have I found the right one? After several years following Mary, I continue to be amazed by her wardrobe. Mariam made me aware of that the green earrings are new and is from the Danish jewellery brand Jewlscph. On her feet she wore a pair of nude Prada pumps and in her hand a black clutch that might be from Bottega Veneta.
