Yeah, a brand new dress for Mary! It makes a royal fasionista happy. The smiling and good looking Princesses wore a dress from Fendi. A little sensation because she has never worn anything from Fendi before or at least I'm not aware of it. The dress was identified by Kate. She also wore custom-made pearl earrings from Marianne Dulong. Standing right next to the Queen when all the guest arrived, makes me think of that day when Mary get the title as a Queen. It'll be a great day! Again she wore her grey python pumps from Gianvito Rossi.

First I noticed the brand new, and a little funny, blouse with the puffed sleeves. It has not yet been identified so if you know who the designer is, I would love to know. And take a look at her amazing legs, they looks so long and slim in these white pants of course she's also wearing high heeled pumps, Gianvito Rossi. To match the gorgeous Gianvito Rossi pumps she had chosen a super classic Chanel cross-body bag in grey with an characteristic quilted leather. Think it's the style tip for today:

Wear plain simple dress-pants to make your legs look longer and dress your feet with a pair of heeled pumps.

Day 2: State visit from China

June, 15

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary were accompanied by President Hu Jintau and his wife Liu Yongqing when visiting Rosenborg in Copenhagen. The castle is where the Crown Jewels are stored when not used by Queen Margrethe.

Visiting Rosenborg Castle
It was a more or less private visit to Rosenborg when the Crown Prince Couple visited the castle along with the Chinese Presidential Couple. That is why only a few pictures have been published from the arrival. The pictures shows two happy couples.

Mary had chosen to wear her hair light curly and in a simple hairdo. Quite easy to try out yourself if you like so. I was thrilled to see her wear a combination of red and white - truly colors of Denmark. Maybe that is why she wore that combo. It took me quite a while to identify the red dress, but it turned out to be a design by Diane von Furstenberg. Don't think we have seen it before, have we? She matched the bright red dress with a plain white Heartmade Julie Fagerholt cardigan. She's got the exact same one in black as well. The white pearl earrings are from Marianne Dulong and worn on numerous occasions. Her shiny red pumps really caught my attention. They are from Christian Louboutin. Really chic and clever of her to match dress and shoes. I also very much like the fact that she accessorized the look with an orange leather clutch. That has not yet been found.

After a day with a more classic red and white style Mary is back in the game with an overwhelming pink one-shoulder gown created by the Danish designer David Andersen. A true masterpiece. This is the second time she's wearing it. The first time we saw her in it, was at the wedding in Monaco earlier this year. Mary really gives we the confidence to wear a colorful dress. I am so inspired by her style when she's wearing such a magnificent dress. What's more amazing is that the she actually chose a pair of aquamarine blue- and diamonds earrings and her simple wedding tiara as well. Matched with a gorgeous hairstyle, I'm sure this could not have been done more beautifully.

Dinner for the European Trade Organizations

June, 14

Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik hosted a dinner for the European Trade Organizations on occasion of Business Europe's Council of Presidents' meeting. The dinner took place at Christiansborg Castle in Copenhagen. Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary also attended the evening event.

The Crown Prince Couple simply looked perfect. Both of them were in a splendid mood ready for a lovely evening at Christiansborg Castle. Mary embraced the style by wearing a stunning Ralph Lauren (Autumn 2011) evening gown. It is designed like upper corset and a rather low skirt. The Dress is covered in beautiful bead-work. She has been wearing the same dress a couple of years ago. Back then I did not find out where it was from, and because of it's so nicely made I was sure it was tailored. But no. Ralph Lauren made it. Kate identified the dress and shared the info with me. Mary also embraced the style with custom-made Cenius & Bach earrings featuring diamond and a pendant. To match the rest of the outfit she wore pink satin pumps from Prada and her snakeskin clutch from Judith Leiber. One beautiful outfit.
