As chairwoman and one of the co-founders of the Mary Foundation, Mary is very much involved in their work which particularly is created to combat domestic violence, bullying and loneliness. Most of these issues the foundation are working with, are often the cause of social isolation which is still a taboo to talk about in Denmark as well as abroad. Mary believes in an open dialogue, that this is the way forward for combating social isolation like loneliness. The last few years loneliness has been on the agenda in Denmark and with that opportunity Mary took action. As one of the most prominent people to "promote" why we need to do a change when it comes to social isolation, she has participated in various conferences, meetings and events just like she attended Denmark Eat Together in Nørebrohallen in Copenhagen, which was organized by People's Movement Against Loneliness. It came as quite a surprise to the other participants to see the Crown Princess when she appeared in the room. The participants were all gathered to, like Mary, show their support in the fight against loneliness and maybe have some personal difficulties. As usual she gave a remarkable speech before the dinner was served. She told how important it is to her and her family to enjoy dinner together; it is the place to share a days experiences, tell and listen. Despite it's not that easy to get anyone to listen when you have four children. A dinner is where you get the chance to get together and meet friends and family. A diner is a social thing. If you master Danish, I think you should take the time and read her speech, here. Both Mary, the director of the Mary Foundation and all the participants seemed to really enjoy the evening together. These dinners were severed all over the country on Monday evening.

Not loud at all, Mary was really casual dress when she attended Denmark Eat Together in Nørebrohallen. I just received some better quality photos shared on the Mary Foundation's web side which clearly showed a relaxed style Mary. I think she is wearing some kind of silver knitted sweater with a rather big black blazer, both new to me. Any idea which designers we are dealing with? She wore this with a pair of skinny black jeans and some new Julie Fagerholt Heartmade (SS16) chelsea boots. These were identified by the one and only Kate! In a way I like this combo but something is disturbing me, do you have the same feeling? I love to see her wear more casual and cool outfits. The first thing I spotted was her Bottega Veneta bag, worn a million times before and still looks absolutely classy. Never think this will go out of style. Always trendy. Secondly I noticed she was wearing earrings but they were hard to ID because of her hair getting in front of them on all photos. But now there is no doubt in my mind, it's her Louise Grønlykke earrings (of course!). These she matched with one diamond band and one golden leaves ring from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen which seems to favourite combination right now. And I adore it! Her makeup and hair were all natural, just the way we like it. If you should choose one item from this outfit, which one would she pick? -I would differently take the golden leaves ring!

  1. I would pick the coat because I think it is a versatile piece- coats last forever in ones' wardrobe. Also, having seen other clearer photos, I think the coat is more brown than black especially because the pocket is made to stand out with what looks like black or it could be dark blue piping.

    1. It is differently a great coat, easy to mix and match whatever style you like. About the colour, I am still not sure whether her new blazer is black, brown or a third one. What I know is, that I would really like to see her wear it again so we might have a chance getting a better glimpse at this stylish new piece of her wardrobe.

  2. I agree--and we can be sure that she will!
