One minute of silence... & Some Missed News

You have probably all heard about the terrible things that has happened in Brussels on Tuesday, 31 peoples were killed and more than 270 people were injured because of the terrorist attacks on the Belgian airport and metro. I'm sure you have followed the new closely the last few days, I have. My sincere condolence to all of them which in one way or another have been affected by this attack. A little about a week ago the Mary Foundation posted on their Facebook site a photo taken by the Crown Princess with the text (translated): "I took this photo the other day of that great spring light. Right now we see more light, and nature reminds us that there is a fresh start ahead of us. This week I met some women with the Mothers Help and at the crisis center in Odense. Women who have lived with violence, but who have found the strength to move on, and now also goes for a brighter future. The Crown Princess"

In May, Copenhagen hosts the world's biggest conference, Women Deliver, on girls and women's rights, health and well-beeing which Mary was chosen to represent as patron. Because of that a new campaign - #IDeliver - is launched. In this campaign video, among others we meet Danish Foreign Minister Kristian Jensen, President of the Midwives Association Lilian Bondo and of course Crown Princess Mary as patron of the conference. With the question "what do you deliver?" does they all participate with each their answer. Photographed in her office at Amalienborg, Mary answer the question: "#IDeliver for girls and women have choice not chance."
