WHO - World Health Organization
The primary role of WHO is to strengthen the national and local health care systems and improving people's health of the region. This task is a collaboration with governments, NGO such as other partners. Read more about WHO and their work here.

In her capacity as patron of WHO Europe Mary was invited to this years RC65 WHO European Regional Committee Meeting in Vilnius, Lithuania. Actually she was invited to open it all with a speech. Her impressive speech lasted for about 12 minutes and is something you just have to read. I will talk more about the it a little later. Mary spook to the senior representatives of the 53 Member States of the WHO Europe, health ministers and several other stakeholders who all were gather in Lithuania. The meeting is held every year and lasts until September 17th. The Crown Princess left after the first day because she has another event to participate in on September 15th, today, back in Denmark. As the patron of WHO Europe it was appropriate that Mary should be the one to open the annual committee meeting. Standing in front of many representatives an overwhelmingly silence hit the conference room. Her breathing was calm and well-balanced when she began her 12-minute speech. Normally I do not listen to them or read them at all but in a way I was drawn to this time. Flawless she spook in english and I can't praise her speech enough. I'm both touched and impressed. She underlined all the essentials of why we need the work of WHO and how important it is for us to have a good health just as we need to reduce poverty. She also pointed out why we need to help women and girl's to a better life and how this has a special interest for her. It might also be because of her work with the Mary Foundation and not to forget all the time and effort she has used in helping girl's and women national such as internationally. I really want to show you a excerpts of what she said, than I hope you will give yourselves the time to listen or read her entire speech from beginning to end. I'll ensure you, you will get surprised.

"... It will be interesting to hear your deliberations at the technical briefing on women's health today. I am committed to working with WHO to ensure that girls and women remain at the centre of development efforts. As patron of the next global Women Deliver Conference, to be held in Denmark in May of next year, I would like to take this opportunity to extend a warm invitation to attend." - Crown Princess Mary/RC65 2015

"... The Women Deliver conference is an effective forum to share ideas and strategize on how to make the world a better place for women and girls, which in reality means a better world for all. And, as one of the first large international conferences after the United Nations' adoption of the new 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, Women Deliver in Denmark provides the perfect platform to accelerate implementation of that Agenda – and our common agenda of health." - Crown Princess Mary/RC65 2015
The importance of the meeting gave a few expectations when we talk about appearance and clothes. They discussed subjects that matters lives. In my opinion her outfit wasn't too laud, she was given a national attention as the Crown Princess of Denmark, not because of her clothes which I love about her. She knows that her job is more important than how she appears. She has to be dressed as the head of an organization like WHO Europe which requires a business look but no massive prints, playful colours or something that might seems wrong. A classic, well-dressed outfit. With help from you guys I have been able to ID. most of her items from yesterday. She was in a simple skater A-line dress in a navy blue colour just like the wool Ganni poncho. Thanks for the wonderful Beverley to tell me about the designer! Kate identified the brand new handbag as Hugo Boss. Also thanks to you! she accessorized the navy blue with bordeaux - a double buckled belt, her Hugo Boss handbag and the reused Gianvito Rossi pumps. She topped the look with golden pearl earrings from Marianne Dulong and two gold bracelets from the same designer. This is the second time we see those. Orit Elhanati is the creator of the necklace.
