Day 1: Washington

February, 27

Today Crown Princess Mary began her visit in Washington. The first day she presented a USD 2,4 million donation from the Danish Government to 'The Inter-American Development Bank'

Arrival and handing over the donation

At the arrival she was wearing a simple black Prada coat and a brand new dark grey dress from Danish Designers Remix with a knot detail at front. It features 3/4 sleeves and knee length. The shoes are her cap-toe Prada pumps and the eye catching handbag handmade of red and black leather comes from the same designer. Because of the bag, the outfit became a little more fun and exciting. To match both the dress and shoes she wore grey leather gloves. The black pearl earrings and bracelet are both from the Danish jewelry designer Marianne Dulong.

Attending global project to fight violence against women

What I like about Mary's style, it's how she always try something new; a new creation of clothes every time we see her. Whether she is Denmark or aboard. For me it looks like her style changes when she is on an international job, I can't tell what it is. She looks so professional, a hardworking business Princess. Maybe that it; she's doing what she loves - to help others. Style is just not about clothes and expensive designers, it's about personality. To match the dress-pants she wore earrings from Jewlscph and leopard pumps from Dolce & Gabbana. With a new Hugo Boss (BOSS Black Fall 2012) blouse, BCBG Max Azria trousers and a Céline belt, her outfit was perfect. Just take a look at the orange and white leopard scarf! So cool. The black leather clutch is a Bottega Veneta.
